Crystal Palace The Crystal Palace was named in reference to the Crystal Palace in London, England. It's a recent construction on the edge of Chinatown, being one of the taller buildings in the district. The bottom two floors are commercial, serving as a high class Chinese mall, while the upper levels are residential. The top two floors are the residence of the Wei family, who commissioned the building. |

Belle Ile Patisserie Located on the outskirts of Chinatown, Belle Ile Patisserie is a small patsry shop opened by Taiwanese immigrant Jean Chang only a few years ago. The bakery produces an ecletic selection of both Taiwanese and French styled pastries with a focus on French style baking and techniques. The bakery is usually opened seven days a week from 8:00am to 4:00pm unless it is time for the owner's annual trip to France. |
