No New Posts Crystal Palace

The Crystal Palace was named in reference to the Crystal Palace in London, England. It's a recent construction on the edge of Chinatown, being one of the taller buildings in the district. The bottom two floors are commercial, serving as a high class Chinese mall, while the upper levels are residential. The top two floors are the residence of the Wei family, who commissioned the building.

No New Posts Belle Ile Patisserie

Located on the outskirts of Chinatown, Belle Ile Patisserie is a small patsry shop opened by Taiwanese immigrant Jean Chang only a few years ago. The bakery produces an ecletic selection of both Taiwanese and French styled pastries with a focus on French style baking and techniques. The bakery is usually opened seven days a week from 8:00am to 4:00pm unless it is time for the owner's annual trip to France.

Board Description
Chinatown
Buses roar through the streets labeled in both English and Chinese. Everywhere, shoppers crowd the sidewalks and restaurants boast the best dim sum, noodles, and display rows of Peking duck in their windows. Along the streets, fresh fruit stands sit side by side with gift shops selling a hodge-podge collection of BB guns, parasols, "Los Angeles"-emblazoned T-shirts, and other trinkets.
