No New Posts Hollywood Sign

The famous Hollywood sign can be seen throughout the whole city. Although the 45 foot tall landmark may seem overwhelming up close past the fencing surrounding the sign it is rather underwhelming. The industrial fence encasing the sign was suppose to keep civilians from vandalism and yet the landmark retains many gang signs in graffiti and litter surrounding the fence. Be careful after dark since it is a rather sketchy place to be after hours.

As of April 10th, the sign is no longer open for public viewing. It is being investigated at the moment because of a crime. The sign will be reopened once the LAPD is finished with their investigation. Until then the yellow tape will remain.

No New Posts Pantages Theater

The Pantages theatre was designed by architect B. Marcus Priteca and was built on vaudeville theatre. Today it is a noted Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument that is the equivalent of New York's Broadway. Famous plays such the Lion King and Wicked are performed there.

The Providence is a high class, Michelin two star restaurant located in Los Angeles. They serve only the best including oysters, lobster, and caviar for dinner and handmade chocolates and cakes for desserts. A prior reservation is absolutely necessary for entry into the dining room.

No New Posts Echo Park

Echo park is located northwest of Downtown Los Angeles and was the center for the movie industry before the studios were moved to Hollywood right before World War I. The park is known for its lake where the annual Lotus Festival, a pan-Asian festival, is held, as well as the annual Cuban festival that is held every year on the Sunday closest to May 20.
