Santa Monica Pier

The pier is fun for all ages. It holds many attractions, such as the Pacific Park, the Aquarium, a historical carousel, and various shops and entertainers. The end of the pier is a popular location for fishermen, so it's not uncommon to find fishing poles on the ledge of the pier. The Pacific Park holds a huge Ferris Wheel that has become an iconic image of the pier itself, seen for miles on a clear day. There are various roller coasters, and for the less daring, children's rides and a miniature golf course.
