[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Luck was certainly not on her side when she graduated with a degree in chemistry, so she ended up lowering her standards and straying toward the field of education. All the documents show that she is currently a high school chemistry teacher. However, Celsius tends to identify herself as a blackmailer: someone who’s got dirt on everyone for everything and isn’t afraid to use it to her advantage. High schoolers simply can’t keep their mouths shut, and she may or may not have bugged her classroom. All conversations are recorded, which is how she obtains such scandalous information. After sifting through hours of gibberish, she takes the juiciest material and investigates them even further, gathering hard evidence for leverage. Once the proof is secured, she contacts the targets under the pseudonym Kelvin and makes the threats. So far she’s already made several thousand dollars, but these blackmailing schemes occur in moderation, for fear of getting caught. But when the need arises, she won’t hesitate to work her magic.

[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] In the eyes of her students and coworkers, Cel is as shy as a rabbit. No one has ever caught her raising her voice for any reason, and when it comes to teaching, she rarely takes any disciplinary action. Instead of worrying whether or not her students fully understand the material, she teaches to the test, but the only thing that matters to her is that her students pass her class. A favorite among students, she always brings in treats and allows for off-topic discussions every once in a while. However, underneath that layer of leniency is a sly, conniving she-devil. Cel is always on the lookout for an opportunity to boost her status, gain favor, anything really. There is always a purpose behind each of her actions. Would anyone really accuse their favorite teacher of blackmail? After all, a sweet smile is always plastered on her face. Personal questions are gracefully avoided, although lying is definitely an option in her book. Celsius has no qualms about lying to her boss’ face, eavesdropping on her students, or threatening to ruin people’s lives for money. “Every man for himself” is how she’d justify her actions. Whatever guilt she may feel is quickly pushed to the back of her head, waiting for the day when it exceeds capacity. Her apathy persists even further by the use of her alias, Kelvin. By some twisted reasoning, she manages to trick herself into sticking the blame onto her alter ego, rather than herself. But above all, she’s a coward, and the fear of getting caught drives her to be exceptionally thorough in her work. All her blackmail information is stored away somewhere in her house, and she’s taken certain precautions to have them destroyed at her will. Her plans always have backup plans, and even her backup plans have backup plans. She never bites off more than she can chew, so her requests have only consisted of a few hundred dollars. Deep down, part of her wants to end this nonsense and live a crime-free life. Unfortunately, her mind would be constantly plagued by the fear of getting caught years later, just as her life was starting to pick up. The prospect of complete and utter disappointment is enough to fuel her to continue and go out with a bang. To her, there’s no turning back.

[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] Celsius is simply a jumble of backgrounds. Her father happens to be half-Chinese, half-European (a combination of German, Italian, and other nations he can’t remember), while her mother is a Puerto Rican princess, through and through. In terms of physical appearance, most people can only see the Puerto Rican side of her. As a native-born Californian, her first language would have to be English, but she’s managed to pick up random phrases of Spanish from her mother. Over the years, her Spanish skills have become dormant, slowly disappearing from her mind.
[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] History
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] Insignificant is how one would describe Celsius’ childhood. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she knew the city like the back of her hand. Both parents worked, and as the only child, spending the day alone, cooped up in a tiny house, was tedious. The first five years of her life consisted of playing with dolls and watching television, while a wrinkly aunt supervised. Cel spoke very little, and her parents began to worry that she would have trouble developing language skills. Every day, after they came home from work, they would sit down and encourage her to have a conversation with them. Unfortunately, she was a stubborn daughter, and they were short-tempered parents. A long day’s work was enough to test their patience, and whenever Cel refused to say a word, they would end up scolding her harshly. She didn’t enjoy the attention she was getting. She didn’t enjoy being offered incentives to talk. She didn’t enjoy the threats of having her dolls taken away. Every time she conceded and spoke, her parents would double their efforts and drive her insane. How could a little girl handle all that? Eventually, they took it down a notch, once Cel enrolled in school. After all, she had proven that she could talk, so perhaps her classmates would encourage her to open up. Well, they were wrong. The talkative kids got together and formed their social circles, and nobody wanted to take the time to reach out to the shy girl. She was perfectly happy being a wallflower. All she needed was a quiet place to sit and she as satisfied. Her favorite pastime was listening in on other people’s conversations. It was like she was trying to be creepy; her classmates had interesting discussions, and they were quite loud as well, so why not eavesdrop a bit? She was forever seen as a fly on the wall: a nuisance, but no one had a reason to shoo her away. While she was fairly focused on her studies, Celsius usually spent the whole day listening and thinking. She would take different conversations, string together any overlapping incidents, and make inferences about the big picture. The whole ordeal was like a game to her. First, she would eavesdrop on discussions and gather information. Afterward, whatever connections she made would be used to form predictions about what truly happened. Eventually, after a day or even a month, everyone would start talking, and Cel was pleased to say that at least 90% of her predictions had been accurate. The first time she put this skill to use was in her second year of high school. Most of her classmates had bombed the government exam, and her teacher was refusing to curve it. Looking back, this was just a trivial matter, not worth nearly ending a marriage. Cel had heard a good amount of dirt on that teacher, but she had no leverage over him. As a result, she took it upon herself to gather photographic evidence that her teacher was cheating on his wife. At first, her teacher didn’t acknowledge the use of blackmail, assuming this was just a bluff by a desperate yet anonymous student. All Celsius had to do was toss one of her photos onto the hallway floor and wait for someone to pick it up and start mayhem. Long story short, she passed the class with an A. After graduating high school, she enrolled in one of the state universities and earned a bachelor’s in chemistry. Unfortunately, her social skills were atrocious, and she managed to completely embarrass herself at every job interview. Needless to say, she couldn’t get her dream career started, and so she detoured onto the path of education. Becoming a certified teacher took no effort at all, but this feeling of spite lingered within her for the next few months. She needed an outlet to relieve her bitterness, which led to her blackmailing streak. The thrill of avoiding the police and striking illicit deals was something to crave, and Celsius has no plans to stop.
