[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] All of Sabbath's attributes – both good and bad, vices and virtues – are a reflection off of her insatiably curious personality. Sabbath was always thirsty to know things, especially things she shouldn't know, ever since she was a child. Her recklessness and stubborn nature were always the result of her desiring to seek out a small piece of knowledge. Even now, as an adult, Sabbath still has an innate curiosity about the world around her that drives her to both trouble and enlightenment. Sabbath has always possessed a rambunctious sense of humor that can both easily bring laughs or offense. She has a very carefree and friendly demeanor, though her physical appearance – 5'7”, muscular, tattooed, and scarred – can be intimidating for some. Though she has a very strong will, like many others in the world Sabbath has a keen sense of insecurity. She has always lamented that she was too tall for a girl, too broad, and when she became a cop and a soldier had always thought most men had backed away due to her indelicate nature and physique. However, Sabbath refuses to let any of her insecurities show. She carries herself with a sense of confidence and a self-assured attitude so that people will recognize she isn't someone to f*ck around with. Though Sabbath loathes seeming intimidating in her romantic life, she absolutely embraces the aspect in her professional life. She wants to be scary to the right people, she wants to be the thing they fear in the dark. Their fear of her means her success. To the people she loves, of course, Sabbath shows a different side entirely. She is a loyal, steadfast friend and very reliable. She is neither an optimist or a cynic, but she is logical, something that her friends value even though she can edge her friendly logic with a side serving of sarcasm. There isn't a limit to what she'd do for a friend or family member in need, whether it's a shoulder to cry on or help with hiding a body. And, in that same vein, there isn't anything she wouldn't do to someone she despised. Sabbath's bad temper is very sharp and volatile, and when she takes aim she aims right for where it will hurt them the most. She can become quite vicious depending on the nature of her hatred, and she almost has a sense of lawless abandon when it comes to bringing someone down. Because if she dislikes you enough, if you f*cked her over to that thin, breaking point, she will bring you down.

[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] Sabbath was born in the Dominican Republic and is of Dominican, Haitian, and French descent. Her and her family immigrated to New York when she was a child. As a result of her heritage, she was able to speak Spanish, French, and English fluently. Now that she is a mute, she also communicates through American Sign Language.
[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] History
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] Sabbath and her brother, Tristan, were born in the beautiful Dominican Republic to a Dominican father and Haitian mother. Sabbath was born on a Sunday after her mother had gone into labor, a week before her due date, during mass. She had not been planning to name her first unborn child Sabbath but, being a religious woman, Mrs. Barros took this as a sign from God to name her child something holy to commemorate the circumstances of her birth. Of course, it wasn't until the pain killers and the joy of giving childbirth had faded from her system that perhaps the name Sabbath wasn't going to do her daughter any favors in life. But Mr. Barros loved the name and, being a fan of the band Black Sabbath, did not hesitate to play loud and inappropriate songs from said favorite band to his young daughter. As a child Sabbath was fearless, stubborn, and - regardless of her name - lacked the fear of God her mother desperately tried to instill in her. She was a complete and utter tomboy, always ruining the braids and dresses her mother adorned her with in the hopes that she could nurture something docile and feminine her daughter. Her father, however, could only see Sabbath as his little princess no matter how dirty and wild she got. Yet both mother and father loved their little Abbie and couldn't help but believe that the nature of her birth was a sign of God and that she, their dirt-stricken, temperamental daughter, was an angel that had yet to sprout its wings. When Sabbath was five her mother became pregnant, and being only five-years-old Sabbath did not wholly understand what that meant. Once her baby brother Tristan was born, Sabbath could not help but feel an overwhelming sense of duty and responsibility that she had never had before. She was not jealous of the attention Tristan got; rather, she was fascinated by how small and vulnerable he was, how soft, and she became overprotective of him in a way her parents had not foreseen. When Sabbath was six going on seven and the baby well over a year, Mr. Barros uprooted the family to New York in search of better job opportunities. He landed a job as a doorman at a posh building, and her mother became a nurse. Sabbath did not know English and spent her first few months at school going to a program that offered to help her learn the language. She got along well enough with the other Spanish kids in school who were bilingual, but sometimes she would get bullied for her heritage. She would get into a lot of fights at school, especially when she heard some of the kids use bad, racist words to describe her. Half the time she didn't understand the meanings, but she would see the way the kids said it: the smirks, the knife-like edge in their eyes as they insulted her. That was all she needed to ignite her temper. As she grew older and mastered English, her anger began to subside and she started having a normal, relatively aggression-free school life. She never had trouble making friends, and any school bully that was stupid enough to so much as tried to insult her ended up swallowing his teeth. Life was tough and she knew she needed to be tougher if she was going to get through relatively unscathed. Sabbath and her family also didn't live in the best of neighborhoods; the sounds of shouts and police sirens used to keep her up at night, but as she grew familiar with her new home they became her lullaby. Neither Sabbath nor her family paid much attention to the dangers of their neighborhood until one day, when Sabbath was twelve, her mother got caught in a gang crossfire. For a week her mother's life was touch-and-go, and struggling with the thought of her mother's mortality was a lot to ask of a volatile twelve-year-old girl. Even though her mother pulled through in the end, Sabbath felt personally touched by gang violence and began to actively imagine a world without it. Her brother, though he seemed a lot more weak-willed than her, held similar ambitions. Becoming a cop and a soldier wasn't exactly what Sabbath had in mind while she was forging a path for herself in her inner city high school. She had fancied herself becoming a lawyer, but her grades were not the best and she couldn't fathom being in school for even longer than she had to. Once she graduated she tested for the police academy, which shocked everyone in her family. Her parents didn't want their only daughter exposed to such a violent world, but Sabbath had already been exposed to it all her life and wanted to be part of the solution to the problem. As she dived deeper into her work as an officer, Sabbath found her calling. Her sense of duty and loyalty, along with her aggressive personality, made being a cop her perfect match. She signed up for the Marine Reserves when she was twenty six, hoping to take her desire to rid the world of gangs and all organizations with their mentality a step further. She was sent to Iraq a year later. While patrolling an area, Sabbath's convoy was turned over by a landmine. She was extremely lucky: she had several broken bones, some new scars to bring home and, overall, had kept her life. But unfortunately, shrapnel from the blast had lodged themselves into her throat and had torn it open. She would have choked to death on her own blood had the response team not arrived as soon as they did. Though they had saved Sabbath's life, they could not completely heal the damage the shrapnel had done. Her vocal cords had been severely damaged. Sabbath had lost her ability to speak. The loss of her voice severely depressed Sabbath, more than she had imagined it would. She could no longer express herself fully, or even communicate properly with others. Once she was well enough, she was sent back home to New York and stayed with her parents until their sympathy and pity drove her crazy. She moved to Los Angeles six months ago, where her brother works as a cop for the L.A.P.D. Though there were some opportunities still available to her both in the police force and the military, they were all desk jobs that she knew wouldn't make her happy. She came to Los Angeles to start afresh and find work doing what she does best: using her violent skill sets for the greater good of society.
