Although Vincenzo was pretty good with his aim, he had developed better close combat fighting skills over the recent years. So it was no shock when Elena had been the one to win in their little game. Even though Vincenzo was not the best at losing he was more proud of Elena, to see how well she had improved told him that she was a woman that could take care of herself. Between her smarts, her aim and her dog, he was sure that she was not a force to be reckoned with. The next step was to keep with his part of the bargain, the loser paid for the other’s dinner. Vincenzo did not expect Elena’s choice, but when she said that she wanted to go somewhere fancy, Vincenzo did his best to find the perfect place. In exchange he told her to wear something nice, no uniform while they went for dinner.
Now Vincenzo had no clue if Elena even owned a dress, but he was hoping that she would be wearing one, a part of his own selfishness. Although he was perfectly fine if she wore just a skirt or even dress pants. Either way he was sure she would keep to his one and only request. He made quick work of getting ready, wearing one of her more favored suits. he hoped that the suit would not be a problem, Vin could only guess that Elena might be tired of seeing him in the things by now. In fact he was sure she hadn’t seen him in anything but suits since they met a week ago. He hopped in his old, but very trusted silver 1998 Honda Accord Sedan and drove over to the address Elena had given him after he had lost their bet.
The trip wasn’t so bad, and with the help of a GPS on his phone he was able to find the place without getting lost. He was still new to the area after all, so it made sense that at least for a while he would be trusting in maps and friendly directions to get around. Vincenzo thought himself as a quick study and was sure he would get the layout of the city down in no time. He made sure to call ahead as a warning, so when he got to the place he left his car and went to ring her bell. Vincenzo had no clue what kind of person Elena was when it came to these kind of get togethers, but hoped she wasn’t like some women he knew. He has fallen prey to waiting passed a meeting time for women who thought it takes three hours to put makeup on. He waited at the door patiently for Elena to open it.
