Did Vincenzo ever stop working? Even when he was off the clock the man was known to take work home, but for once he was finally taking a break. A long needed break that he had failed to take hours ago and was far off from lunch time, now taking his lunch at nearly 3:25PM. He was deemed a workaholic by his peers and couldn't help but agree with them. He had been working on a rather simple case this morning, or at least it had started simple. With all the ups and downs that he had met along the way Vincenzo started to regret taking such a mindless case, but in the end they got what they needed to call the case closed, all in a days work, right? Now that he finally had some time to himself Vincenzo found himself wanting something that wasn't home cooked and soon enough found himself in Chinatown, now the real question was what was he going to eat?
A buffet was out of the question, he wanted something a little more real, at least in his opinion. What bothered him the most was not in what his choice would b but in his lack of company. Vincenzo was normally fine with eating, or in that case, doing anything on his own, but lately liked have company. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that since moving to L.A. he had met a good number of interesting people. From his neighbor who brought over cookies, to his K-9 handling co-worker, or that young guy he met at the gym. All very interesting people and enjoyable to b around. Would he call thing friends? No, not just yet, but he was not against spending time with them, that he was sure of.
Still he needed to make a choice of where to eat, but was a bit stuck on what his choices would be, after all he was still new to the area. So what was the next best step? Ask someone, try to find someone that looked like they knew the area. So that was what he did, he picked a random stranger, smiled as she walked up to them and asked his question. His suit screamed money, to most, but really he was just taking a break from work, so of course he was dressed nice. "Excuse me? Would you happen to have any sugestions on a place to eat here? I'm pretty new to the area."
