who will take the fall? [moose]

He had found it, in a human's building no less, unguarded and open to the public. Chaos was starting to question how low these creatures had fallen, once they were powerful with great kingdoms. Now they needed technology to protect them, and their educations was poorly aimed. Why learn about history, when the history they learned was wrong, instead they should be training their powers, tending to farmland and working for their nobles. The things they had now, the leaders they bowed to were no nobles. Commoners playing a game of control and failing at it. Still for all they they forgot these people did well to protect the past, the item that he held now was proof of that. It was old, maybe even older than himself, birth by Destiny for some unknown plan. Now it was his, though Chaos had to admit to himself that he did not know how the item was to be used. He knew if it’s power, but to use it was a different story. For now he held it between his jaws and jogged down the streets.

He was in a part of L.A. that he had not had the chance to see yet, (not that there was much to see.) but since he wanted to make a mental map of his surrounding he had to make the effort of traveling everywhere. The sphere he held in his mouth was the size of a baseball, it was made of some black metal and looked as if it was broken into many odd pieces. Those pieces kept their shape, even though there was no way for them to connect. In the center was an even smaller glass sphere, the smaller sphere was empty. He continued on, messing with the sphere with mental thoughts and tricks of biting it and tossing it around. Nothing worked and he became frustrated. So much so that he decided that if he could not figure it out then the item would need to be destroyed. He focused on his fangs and caused them to increase in heat, he would melt the sphere until there was nothing left. Just then it started to glow a soft red, he stopped and laughed to himself. So that was how it worked, he needed to push his powers into it, force it to take a part of him to create the perfect servant.

Now all he needed was a test, find some random prey and use the sphere on them, test the limits, the power and the control. The beach would be a good place, maybe find a night jogger on the boardwalk and test a few things on them. Wonderful, it was decided.. that was until he brushed passed a large man. He his shoulder pushed against the man, causing Chaos to indirectly place a small spell of bad luck on the guy. The man was with a women as well, and for all far intent Chaos was going to ignore them, until he sensed one of Mangus spawn.

That stupid bug was back? Chaos paused in his stride and turned his head back to look at the man and women, he spotted the small dragonfly and something clicked. If he needed to run a test these people would do wonderfully. He would be able to kill two birds with one stone, let Mangus know that he was alive and test out a new power. Chaos glared at the large man for a moment sizing him up, then at the girl. He was sure that she would be no trouble, but be a good test either way.

He turned away and continued around a turn until he was out of sight. He used his heated claws to climb the nearest building and took to the roof, where he would be able to watch his test without interfering. Taking to sphere he infused his power into it, forcing it to bend to his will and use its power to create a copy of himself. At least that was what the sphere was meant to do, Destiny’s sphere was made to make a copy of the user, a clone with the same powers and strength. Chaos’ copy not only looked different, but he could tell, it could only control one element and was much weaker than he was. This upset made no sense to Chaos, but that did not mean that his plans were for nothing.

Chaos directed his clone’s attention to the two humans below, even if it was weaker it was like controlling one of Fate’s Elementals, just this was not born of Fate. Chaos had basically created an Elemental Fire Wolf...


Although Chaos in in this thread he will not attack and will be watching, keep in mind that your chars are now under the watch of chaos and this may affect any future threads you may have with him. The creature he has created is basically a weaker version of Chaos with only the power of fire. Though this elemental can do things Chaos can't, such as breath/create/control fire. The sphere is now inside Chaos' clone, where the wolf's heart would be. It is large, bulkier and taller then Chaos. Mike will be playing the Fire Wolf.

Run? Absolutely not! The flaming elemental of Chaos, quite aware of what the humans were saying, attempting to harness the power of its sphere; however, it didn't quite work as planned. What the wolf was aiming for was Rhiannon - he wanted to burn her alive, cooking her to make a tasty meal. But apparently he had yet to figure these powers out yet. Instead of shooting a concentrated ball of energy at Rhiannon, a large, wavelike wall of flames sailed just around the young woman, setting the ally ablaze. The wolf growled in frustration, not knowing what in the world was wrong. All he wanted to do was eat - yes, his hunger was starting to take the best of him.

Another low, deeper growl was their only warning. Its eyes bore into the larger human's as if warning the man. Give in - you two aren't going anywhere. He could hear Chaos in his mind, satisfied thus far with the results of the elemental's assault. The entity wasn't exactly pleased with the fact that he had no control over aim and range, but overall he was doing fairly well. Now he simply needed to eradicate these two before - oh. And that's when the elemental realized that the small dragonfly was familiar. Chaos, chanting in his mind, was feeding him the information that he needed. While unable to speak, the wolf slowly began walking toward the two humans, trapping them between himself and a wall of fire behind. Now there was nowhere left to go. Nowhere to run. It was either fight bravely and die. Or give up and die. Both which were favorable outcomes.
