Well the fight had been interesting, but felt a bit of a loss, which Chaos did not like. In his mind all he could do was curse Lupus, having a feeling that this had something to do with that man sealing down some of his powers. Nevertheless this was a learning experience and he would note it down for later. With his fire wolf all but destroyed Chaos dug her claws into the side of the building he was watching from and ran down the side to the street. He landed a bit off from the humans but ignored them. Instead he made quick dash for the sphere, pouncing on the fire elememtal and ripped out the sphere of whatever was left of him. The flames that were once the wolf, died down until they were completely gone from sight. Chaos eyed the two humans, he would remember them for a later date, even more so for the man that stomped on his pet. This would probably not be the last time they would meet, Chaos never leave a gift unanswered, and beating his summon was quite the gift. He turned away from them, they last thing they would remember of him would be his eyes, and the white collar against his fur. with sphere in mouth he fled, quicker than any dog should be able to run, he was gone in seconds, leaving questions even Aura did not want to answer. You have helped test the sphere well for Chaos and now he knows that a lot more power is need to control it, thank you and enjoy the rest of your thread. |

Post by DARRIN "MOOSE" MOORE on Sept 15, 2013 15:51:10 GMT -8
tagged: character. date: date and time.notes: notes. Moose staggered as the wolf let off heat. It wasn't bad enough to burn him, but it certainly wasn't the kind of thing that he could simply stand there and take. The steam only added to it, and he backed up a few quick steps to get clear of the burning hot steam. His arms were up in front of him, protecting his face and torso, fully expecting another attack.
He needn't have worried. Even while the wolf seemed to be ready to attack, it soon fell, unable to lift itself. He hesitated a moment, then relaxed slightly. Not a threat then. It was a stupid move--the fire wolf wasn't the only danger, and Aura's wings buzzed on his shoulder, alerting him to the danger. His head snapped back, eyes fixing up on the black wolf. His timing was good, and he got a good look at the wolf just in time to spot it jump to the ground, darting along to where the wolf had been. An orb laid there, and before Moose could jump forward to grab it (a stupid idea that would probably burn his hand), the black dog had already gotten it, shooting off down the alley.
At least it was gone. He hesitated, then glanced back to Rhiannon. By and large he was unharmed. He'd taken a blow to the chest, but it had really been nothing bad. His pant leg was a bit singed, and the bottom of his shoe was a bit worse for the wear, but otherwise he was fine. "You okay?"

tagged: moose. time: may 11, 2012 - 11:45am. speech: rhiannon. notes: please pm if there are problems. She wasn't even sure what to make of the situation anymore. When Moose took a step back from the fire wolf that was now starting to emit steam, Rhiannon had been about as prepared as she could be to fling the rest of the water onto the wolf. Because whatever she had done, it seemed to be working -- the fire wolf had stumbled backwards, then started to... shrink? Was that what it was doing? She couldn't tell with all of the steam rolling off of the creature's body, but she could hear it howl. And the howling was shortly followed by what looked like a big, black wolf running out of nowhere and -- did it just rip the fire wolf thing's heart out?
The black wolf looked at them for a second, it seemed, and before Rhiannon could react, it was already gone. What the hell. Just what the hell. The world seemed to be rising up around her, and it wasn't until she felt her knees hit the ground that she realized that her legs had given out. The fires seemed to of have died down along with the wolf, and -- they were alive. They didn't die, and she wasn't quite sure how they did it, but they had somehow made it out alive and -- oh. Moose was talking to her. Asking her if she was okay. Was she? "Y-yeah, I think I'm okay," Rhiannon said, sounding rather shaky regardless. She tried standing up, and while she could, she wasn't sure how steady she was. Taking a few steps to test her balance, she confirmed, "O-Okay, outwardly, I think I'm fine, but I'm not so sure about h-how well I'm taking all of this, that's t-the second time this week --"
And then her purse started shaking. At first, Rhiannon thought it was her phone, but that was the thing -- her phone wasn't on vibrate, it should have been playing her ringtone. That, and it wasn't shaking at regular intervals. But if it wasn't her phone, then what exactly was it? Rhiannon quickly opened her purse to check and see what was -- was that the box with the egg shaking? Pulling the box out of her purse and opening it up revealed that to be exactly the case, and she looked at Moose and said, "Uhm... o-okay, sorry to spring this on you, b-but we're going to have to skip Fashion District today. However, can you... come back to my apartment with me? I seem to be having a-a bit of a... slight problem here --" And then the box pretty much tore itself apart and she found herself plopping down onto the floor because there was shaking egg the size of a pot in her arms and lap.
"Nevermind, I-I have a really big problem," she concluded. looking at the egg in her lap that looked like something out of Jurassic Park. "O-oh, good god, this had better not be a dinosaur..." But considering everything that had happened lately, she wouldn't be surprised if it was. Testing the weight of the egg, she realized that the egg was still light enough for her to carry without Moose's help. But that didn't mean that she was concerned that a dinosaur was going to hatch out of the egg...
