RESPECT . This is pretty self explanatory. We can all have fun and troll around but if there is a lack of respect towards others on the site there will be consequences. If you do not think you can be respectful, please do not join.

PG-13 . Proboards mandate says that the site must be kept PG-13. That means no gratuitous swearing, violence, sex, or things of that nature. Swearing is allowed but please do not go overboard. If you must have sex, violence, or whatnot use the fade to black method. A few hints right before it fades to black is more than enough to get your point across.

READ . You would think that this would be obvious on a text based roleplay site. However, some people don’t read. To which we say, READ. Reading is good for your brain and helps you learn about what goes on around the site. So please read, yo.

ONE CHARACTER PER ACCOUNT . It makes things cleaner and easier. Don't fight it.

FIVE CHARACTERS PER MEMBER . When we say that, we mean have five characters at most when you first join. If you feel that you can handle it, the residue shop sells extra character slots for five residue each.

DISPLAY NAME . Please keep your display name as follows, FIRST LAST. Meaning the display name must be ALL CAPS, first and last name. If you do not make your display name as so, staff will not look at your application until you do. Think of it as a check for reading rules.

FACE CLAIM . Face claims are necessary here on Twisted Fate. Every character must have a character that represents how they look. The site uses ANIMANGA FACE CLAIMS so please make sure your face claim is not from real life. Also be sure to check in the face claims list to make sure it’s not already taken. New members CANNOT make a face claim if they do not have a character yet, so until you are accepted, please doin't post in the claims.

GRAPHICS . Please have a 100 X 100 ICON of your face claim. You may have a 550 X 200 SIGNATURE if you want but the signature isn't necessary. Please don't make images any wider than 560px.

POWER PLAYING . Please do not assume anything. Do not just assume your punch will hit someone. This being said, be realistic, no one dodges every attack. It is more interesting when you aren't winning! Small things in order to move the thread along if necessary is allowed but please use it in moderation. When in doubt, contact the other party to make sure.

NO WORD COUNT . Although there is no word count, we do ask to keep your posts well thought out. The site is literate, so keep that in mind. Be respectful and keep your posts at about the same range as who you are posting with. It is the worst when someone writes 200 words after you wrote 1000.

SEMI LIQUID TIME . This means you cannot be in two places at once. The reason we have this rule is so that you keep your dedication on one thread so you can finish it up faster. You can be in THREE THREADS at any time as well as ONE EVENT THREAD only if you apply for the event.

TIME STAMPS . The time stamp is very important because it creates a linear timeline of what happens. For example, if someone gains powers, the date tells us which threads the character can use the powers in. Also, if a character is in an event, they are not allowed to be in threads after the date of the event. This means that all threads must have an accurate timestamp! We have a suggested timestamp on the sidebar, but people are allowed to backdate if they so choose. Please note ALL TIME STAMPS SHOULD CONTAIN AT LEAST THE DATE AND TIME like so: April 5th, 2012 at 4:15pm.

CIVILIANS . In order to be identified in a kingdom there must be some intervention of an entity, which is why ALL CHARACTERS STARTS AS CIVILIANS. It is possible for a character to become claimed, identified, or awakened if admins are impressed by your character you may be identified on the spot or if residue is used. Otherwise all characters must be Civilians.

NAME . It would be really nice that you stick to one name in the cbox, and not periodically keep changing it. It tends to get confusing and everyone will be like 'oh what happened to so-and-so?' 'oh, so-and-so became this-and-that'.

ADVERTISING . It's not allowed in the cbox by any means. There is an advertising board for this and it should be common knowledge by now. Failure to comply may result in suspension or banning. We don't have much tolerance for it.

SPAMMING/TROLLING . Rude behavior will not be tolerated at all. There is a zero tolerance policy. It annoys people and will result in an immediate ban, no questions asked.
