Living Situation Amanda is a history major at UCLA and is currently in her own small condo near the school. Amanda comes from an upper class family of upstarts and is quite well off thanks to her parents. As a result, she is currently unemployed. 02. Appearance Your character's physical description/notes. Not required. NOTE TO SELF: Add in later. Like when it's not the wee hours of the morning. 03. Personality <bookish> Amanda loves books. To her, there is nothing better than sitting down and reading a good book for hours. Her favorite location on campus is the library and she has plans to build her own library once she is able to buy her own home. Although she loves books, she actually hates studying. Unless the topic interests her, she would much rather be reading a story book than reading a text book. <dedicated> Despite usually not being able to get along well with others, Amanda is incredibly loyal to her friends. Whenever they decide to get into shenanigans, Amanda will always be first in line to help. Because, after all who else will take care of them and make sure they succeed. <passive> When it comes down to it, Amanda is a pushover. She can be easily convinced into doing things despite knowing that the risks. A lot of the time, all it takes are a few "please"s from Val and she will immediately agree to help. <thorough> No matter what she does, people can always be sure that it will be overly detailed and well planned. She always makes plans that have step by step instructions. Those step by step instructions will then include details about everything included in it that step and so on. This trait of hers also makes her schoolwork incredibly loved by some of professors; they either look forward to reading her theses or shy away from the sheer amount of detail in the paper. <intelligent> Amanda is a certified genius. It's true. With an IQ of about 155, her intelligence is ranked up there with many nobel prize winners. Unfortunately for the world, she does not use her intelligence for good but for her and her friends' micheivous ways. <maternal> Amanda would actually make a very good mother. She is warm and will take care of the young ones. This is evident in the way she treats her friends: she takes care of them and makes sure that they are all well and happy. At the same time, she is not afraid to reprimand them if they are definitely doing something wrong. <perfectionist> With her, everything needs to be perfect. It does not matter if its in her plans or in her work, she will make it the best it can possibly be. Amanda is also the type of person that would be physically pained if something is not placed perfectly or organized properly. They had her tested for obsessive - compulsive disorder once and surprisingly sthe test came back negative. <quiet> As they say, it's always the quiet ones. In this case it's very true of Amanda. To the outside world, she shows an incredibly quiet and polite demeanor. But in reality, there are things luring in her mind that many do not know about. <sadistic> Amanda is a sadist through and through. She has murderous tendencies although she would never actually act on those impulses. What she does instead is she fills her time with histories of war and bloodshed in order to satiate her needs and to give her inspiration for new methods of murder. 04. History Amanda Marceline Smith had a relatively normal childhood. Her father, Harrison Smith, the owner of a chain of pharmacies, married her mother, Angela, after a few only a few months of dating when they were in their early twenties. Unfortunately their impromptu marriage did not last very long and they divorced soon after Amanda was born. Because her father was the only one with the stable income and because her mother had a drinking problem, full custody of the child was awarded to Harrison. As Amanda grew up, her father's chain of stores began to expand and the little girl soon found herself living in the lap of luxury. Although her mother was absent, Amanda grew up a happy child. Her father taught her values and loved her the place of both parents. As a family that came from "new money" Amanda did not grow up with the stress of having to be dignified towards the other families. Instead, her father just kind of went along with whatever was going on. And she received good grades in school anyway so there was never any reason to pressure the child for perfection. Middle school is when Amanda discovered her true nature. Day after day, she would sit in a room full of idiotic students that had nothing better to do than gossip. Eventually, she began to pass the time by observing her fellow students and deciding the best ways to murder people. That girl is afraid of snakes? Kill her with venemous snakes. That boy hates the dark? Lock him in a dark room and let him starve to death. Amanda would plan the deaths from beginning until end with every detail in place, just because she was bored. Thankfully, she never acted out those plans although they were interesting for her to think about. It was soon discovered that Amanda was actually a genius. Her IQ was comparable to that of Nobel Prize winners which would explain why she was always so bored in class. However, it was decided that Amanda would stay on the regular course as opposed to skipping grades. Her father wanted her to have a normal life no matter what the circumstance. So her life progressed as normally as one would expect although she had a severe lack of friends due to her quietness. The fact that she locked herself in the library reading all the time did not help either. In her last year of high school, her whole life changed when she met one Val O'Callaghen. They met at a party and Val somehow charmed the girl into becoming friends. For the first time in a very long time, Amanda remembered what it felt like to have friends. Now, she is fiercely loyal to the group of girls and now devotes much of her time to going along with their shenanigans. |
