keyboardist/soundboardist for sound fuse. What can he say - he really loves being able to use his keyboard for all the different sounds he can make with them. And he really hates compromising the sound of their own music on the soundboard - or rather, he doesn't let any do that except for him, since he's not all that trustworthy of people when it comes to this.

self-proclaimed photographer. Really all he does is take random pictures and sells them for a little extra cash, but he does think himself to be one great photographer - especially at candids. Though he keeps Kazue out of them, just for courtesy (and the fact that he can't really sell things that could compromise the band - such a scandal if the mystery of her gender was found out!). Plus, he's well aware they'd take his camera away if something did happen to slip about that certain situation.

website designer. Leon's in charge of the band's website. He puts up the photos he takes for profit (and fans these days loved those photos, though Leon always found them to be a bit obsessive, especially with those embarrassing photos. What did fans do all they, salivate over them?), and puts that into equipment and site... stuff.

residence. The penthouse is rather big and spacious - currently at the top floor of the Renaissance hotel. Leon enjoys having his room to himself, mostly because he has the bad habit of kicking in his sleep and his brother goes off when that happens. Not that he really minds, of course, that meant more space and more comfort for him.

hair. It's black. So black, it's blue. Like seriously no one can tell anymore, much less himself (even though he meticulously cares for it day after day).

eyes. Leon finds himself wearing colored contacts more often than not. Although his natural eye color is more of a light brownish color (really, it's more of an amber color), he can be seen with a variety of eye colors. He personally prefers blue, though. Though if he doesn't have contacts he wears glasses.

height. He doesn't find himself particularly tall, but maybe that's for the better, standing at 5' 5".

style. Though he personally likes bright, vibrant colors, he doesn't question his stylist when it comes to appearance, since they always know best (though touch his hair, they die). Yellows and oranges are common colors that he wears, perhaps if he dresses up enough he might actually be a lion! Or at least, as close as he could get to being one. Though he might say that being a lion might not embody his personality the best.

vain. It isn't to say that he holds his appearance highly (though he does that too), but Leon finds his skills in certain things to be more adept than an average person. He plays the keyboard well? There goes his ego, soaring way up into the sky, boosting his already high opinion of himself. His pictures sell like hot potatoes, well that just proves how good he is with the camera, right? If he happens to walk by the mirror, there's always a rather huge chance that anyone walking with him would have to wait until he finished straightening his hair, or admiring the image displayed towards him.

carefree. Except about his appearance, he does have a rather childlike sense of the world. Leon doesn't think his actions through and frankly, he doesn't care about the consequences. The world kept on spinning, and if life wasn't lived then really, what was the point? To have worries and troubles prohibited the sheer simplicity of living, so why even bother caring about it? The only thing he really worries about is if he somehow messed up his hair, or outward appearance (really, he can get even a bit obsessive about it). That, and if someone messed with Sound Fuse's music. He gets rather riled up at that. It pissed him off, because if that sort of thing were happening he might just rip a new one in that certain someone.

passionate. There are things that people don't mess with when it comes to him. The music for one - he guards it like a dog. Even though he is rather carefree, he demands certain things must be perfect. His music is one - while he takes risks, he must take perfect risks. He supposes that this might go against the carefree nature of his personality - but that applies to everything else but his sound. And his hair. If his hair is messy, it is perfectly messy.

immature. The silly things he laughs at - the dirty jokes he initiates. It's all a good amount of fun - but he does act rather immaturely about it. When things don't go his way he pouts and whines, and then moves onto something a few minutes later not caring anymore. He can be rather crude about things too.

obsessive. Although he barely has any worries or troubles, there's always that one thing he's drawn too - and that his comparing his hair to other people's. Of course, his is always better because, frankly? He takes a damn good amount of time styling it to be exactly his style. But he can't help but obsess over his own hair - but also what attracts him. When looking for a new prospective significant other, he always looks at their hair. They can't be better than him, but they can't be too shoddy, either. Hair is amazing. So luscious, so soft, so beautiful... it's really breathtaking. One might say he has a kink for it, but Leon calls it appreciation.

trivial. While Leon finds himself with literally not a care in his world, there are few times in which the band members can recall him freaking out - usually over first world problems. Actually, there have been many, many occurrences of this. Yes - he has many first world problems. Note: "What wig should I wear?!" "I don't have matching colors in my closet!" "Theo left me again for Kazue T-T" "The bed's not warm anymore." "I want to watch Gossip Girl on TV get off." "I need to put pants on why."

spontaneous. Leon likes surprising his band members with surprise trips to surprise places. It's not a far stretch to say that he likes surprises too, but what can he do when he's responsible for planning all their fun (everyone else is just so busy or so uncreative when it comes to that, so he might as well do it himself). Now situated in LA - trip to Disneyland? Buy tickets, get believable disguises, and let them roam wild. Of course, he has to do all the busywork, but he doesn't mind it much he loves Disneyland - the rides are fun.

Leon Kobayashi is the youngest child of Kenta and Laureline Kobayashi, following after Eric and Theo. Leon himself doesn't quite remember his younger days in Japan, maybe a year of scattered memories he can't quite place, but otherwise nothing very significant stands out. He remembers Germany quite well, and considers it his childhood years. Thus he's most fluent in German since, from four to ten, he grew up in the country. Although all the boys were inclined towards music, Leon never thought about it serious and took up photography as a serious profession for himself.

At the age of ten, they moved back to Japan. Leon would like to say that he retained some of the Japanese he had in his mind from before Germany, but it was, unfortunately, a struggle for him at times (he really knew he should’ve studied, but when was he ever really good with time management when it came to boring things?). He knew a bit of English from the classes he took in Germany, and even in Japan he was required to learn English. Languages... they were a challenge for him, but of course he enjoyed it nonetheless. English was fun, after all, and Japanese wasn’t too hard to pick up after a couple of years of learning, unlocking most of the language he knew from his four toddler years in Japan. Though currently, he's best at German and the worst at Japanese (even though he’s been in Japan all this time, he just loves speaking English to his online pals).

It was at this point he found himself... drawn to a certain hobby. At first he kept it a bit of a secret. No one would understand his fascination with women's clothes... especially wearing it. He was feminine enough to pass for a lady, at least in his opinion he was. And he talked to people, none the wiser, as a female. Of course, he never did say much about it, and kept it a secret from most people who knew him.

And so life went on, his brothers were happy and he was happy. Nothing really happened. It was always his plan to be a photographer - or a website designer - in the future when he grew up. He bought himself a camera, prepared to go off to college and get into a school that could enhance his skills. It never did happen, though. His loyalty to his brothers was a bit too strong. He liked their music, and college was so difficult that he dropped out eventually. Though around that time he never did get to be an integral part of the band, before it broke up over Aya's death and Eric's depression.

Though Theo made his own band, and put Leon in charge of the band's website, giving him almost an excuse to stay with his brothers (Eric being the manager and all). He never considered joining, as he was content with managing the site and taking pictures (and making a fortune off of them). He did take the opportunity to mess around with the keyboard whenever he was sure no one was watching (of course, he did get caught that one time and subsequently got put in the band). He’s loved it ever since - the fans were amazing. His crossdressing habit was known to most of the band and they didn't quite mind it as much as he thought they would. But he finally found that playing the keyboard was his calling (though he still loves taking those photographs).
