[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Juliet teaches art at UCLA. She grew up loving art. She was handling crayons at the fragile age of two, and has never stopped loving it. She teaches everything there is to know about art. Her favourite medium is paint, and is quite skilled at what she does. She became a teacher in hopes of spreading her love for art and teaching other students to love art, too.

[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Juliet owns a small apartment in a building that's not too far from China Town. As a result, on days off, she's usually found wandering around China Town when her muse is being mercilessly slaughtered by reality. She enjoys the food at Queen Ming Cuisine, and she purchases her groceries from 99 Ranch. Despite her looks, she thinks of herself more Asian than Caucasian. Her apartment room is painfully spare. Her few belongings hardly decorate her house, and Juliet likes to keep her things neat and tidy. She actually likes her boring house. As for electricity and whatnot, it's good for average use. Juliet doesn't do too much cooking; she really sucked at it and learned to cook rice the hard way. However, she makes food good enough to survive off of. The only room that you could call 'colourful' in her house is her 'studio'. Her 'studio' is actually one of the two rooms that came with her apartment. She just hauled everything out of the room, stuck an easel and some paints in the middle and: BAM! It became her studio. Now the walls and carpet are decorated in a variety of different colours from all the different kinds of mediums you can name: pencil, paint, pencil crayons, charcoal, watercolour, pastels, etc.
[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Appearance
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] HAIR; Juliet's hair colour is blonde. Like, really blonde. It's so blonde that many people have mistaken her to be an albino. She doesn't get mad at these people; after all, it explains a lot about her appearance: her seemingly white hair and unusually pale skin. Her hair is long, hanging around her waist, and is naturally wavy. She really prefers straight hair (just a strange preference of hers), but she never got around to making it straight. She probably doesn't even know how to do it. EYES; Her eyes are normally shaped; just like any other eye. It's the eye colour that really gets to people. On first glance, one might pass it off as dark brown like most people, but when one really gets close, her eyes are actually a very dark red. It's so strange that people usually just think that she enjoys colourful contacts. Little do they know is that it is her actual eye colour. Her family took her to a doctor when she was a baby, alarmed by her strange eye colour. The doctors passed it off as a scientific phenomenon that can't be explained, and that it won't affect her in any way. She likes to think of herself as a "beautiful freak of nature." FACE; Upon first encounter, one might describe her face as "heart-shaped," and if you manage to make her smile, you notice that she has slight dimples on both cheeks. However, she doesn't smile for no reason, her face usually calm and impassive. However, when she does smile, people tend to lose interest in anything else. She has pale skin, and Juliet actually likes her pale skin. As a result, she tends to stay away from the sun when she can and doesn't like going outside on hot days. Her skin is extremely smooth; she takes great care of her skin. BUILD; For a grown woman, she can best be described as "below average." She's not particularly proud of her small stature, even though it's not that small, but doesn't like wearing high heels to make herself look taller. She describes it as "fake" and refuses to use them. She's rather slender, and 'curvier' than most women. She's not bothered by her chest size, since she doesn't like extremely large breast sizes, and despises woman who exploit their cleavage. Maybe it's her way of showing her jealousy, but if she were envious of women with large chests, she wouldn't know herself. FASHION; Juliet doesn't go out of her way to dress extremely-well, but she doesn't like looking behind the times either. One thing about Juliet: she does not wear pants. In that respect, she prefers skirts, and doesn't like seeing women wear pants (or short skirts), but doesn't usually go out her way to voice her opinion. She does look great in dresses though, and she loves to wear her favourite white poncho. When she's painting or doing something messy (like cooking, for example) she'll wear a very, very plain T-shirt and also a very, very plain-looking skirt. She doesn't like getting her "good clothes" dirty. If anything happened to her white poncho, she'd freak. She likes light, pale colours that she thinks complements her pale appearance. Colours like sky blue, spring green, or violet suit her best. She wouldn't be caught dead wearing something like black or dark brown. [cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Personality
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] QUIET; Juliet is fine with not talking. If nobody takes the initiative to go and talk to her, then she's usually not going to take the initiative to talk to them. It's as simple as that. She has once gone a whole week not talking; of course, this was when she was on vacation, didn't bother to go outside, and was basically in her room all day, painting. Her voice is quiet too; gentle and soft-spoken. She doesn't like it when people speak in a loud voice for no reason; if they're right in front of her and screaming at the top of their lungs, it'll be very hard for Juliet to hold herself back and not slap the person. RATIONAL; Juliet knows how to control herself. She has this rare ability that youngsters don't normally have nowadays: common sense. It's common sense that keeps her from slapping somebody that looks like he could be a pro boxer or wrestler, and it's common sense that keeps her from calling her boss and idiot. She knows when she's being rude and when she steps out of line (although this doesn't happen often), and doesn't make stupid decisions. As a result, she's not as outspoken as her brother, but still doesn't have trouble voicing her opinion if she has to. She doesn't normally have to though. She generally likes to keep to herself and out of trouble. INTELLIGENT; Juliet admits that back in school, she was a bit of a nerd. She enjoyed studying, though not as much as drawing. She was pleased with the attention she got from her parents every time she came home with a good grade safely tucked inside her pink backpack, and she liked impressing her family and friends with bits of trivia that they hadn't known about. Therefore, she made it a habit to study well before tests, and when she wasn't drawing or it was too hot or sunny to wander around outside, she went on the computer and looked things up. All she had to do was type what she was interested in at the moment in a search bar, and billions of pages popped up. She soon learned that Wikipedia wasn't a very reliable source for trivia, mainly because every time she tried to get something out of it, she ended up more confused then she was before. The people around her began to rely on her, and Juliet didn't mind this one bit. MOTHERLY; Juliet is very kind to the people close to her, and usually only the people close to her. Around them, she's caring, warm, sweet, gentle, soft-spoken, and has this special ability to love somebody with all her heart. Even if she's around strangers, people take note of how polite, quite, calm, and kind she is to them, though she's rather distant. Juliet is the type of person who treasures her family and friends, and is usually the "reliable one" in her group of peers. She enjoys it when people rely on them; it makes her feel like she's taking care of them, hence the motherly part of her personality. It's also because of this that she adores children, and in general, children enjoy her. She takes the responsibility to correct a child when he/she's wrong or impolite, thinking that he or she'll grow up with this and become a wonderful adult. CREATIVE; It goes without saying; she's a wonderful artist with an imaginative and creative mind. She can be inspired by the most trivial things, and when she's inspired, she's the most dedicated woman in the world. Her creativity is apparent to her family, friends, and co-workers, and when it comes to ideas, although she's not very out-spoken, her peers know that they can count on Juliet to come up with a great idea that isn't too far fetched. SASSY; Especially when it comes to men, Juliet can be rather sassy at times. It's not anything harsh, but when she's slightly irritated, then perhaps the odd "sardonic" comment might leak out of her. She's perfectly capable of standing up for herself; she just doesn't have to do it very often. Especially when she thinks that the person in front of her is acting like a jerk, she can come off as rather rude (although still managing to keep her voice down) and rather harsh about her words. She usually doesn't mean it, and when she cools down, expect a sincere apology from her for stepping out of line.
[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] History
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] Juliet and her brother, Cody, grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She liked this place very much; sometimes her father would take the family out for a drive and every time they passed the St. Marys River, she was completely awed. The river looked best at sunset; she loved the way the water twinkled and sparkled every time she passed the river on a sunset. It was probably the reason she loved where she lived so much. Her first inspiration was of the river; whenever she got home from a drive, she would immediately retreat to her room, and when her parents came to check on her, they would find Juliet quietly colouring pictures of the same scene over and over again: orange sky, yellow sun, blue water. She never thought it was weird that the sky turned orange, she thought it was beautiful. She began to beg her father to go on drives every time she noticed the sky was turning orange, saying that she wanted to see "the pretty water," and her father didn't complain. It would just be the two of them, driving near the shore, looking at the water. She liked her father best because of that. She loved school. She loved her pretty teachers who never failed to teach her new things every day, and she loved her friends who always relied on her, played her, and most importantly, complimented her on how her drawings were beautiful, and how they wished they could draw like her. Her parents were pleased by how she went to bed at nine o'clock every night, and sometimes woke up earlier then they did, eager to get to school. It became a routine: get up early, get ready for school, go to school and have fun with her teachers and friends, come back and draw, go to sleep. She liked it this way. She woke up, eager to start the next day. She liked to describe her life as pink: everyday, when she walked to school, the birds were singing, the sky was blue and beautiful, and when she got to school, she never failed to have a good time. At home, she got along well with her parents and brother (sometimes), and when she went to sleep, it repeated. She had yet to realize that the world wasn't as pink as she thought it was. In middle school, children began to realize that her hair colour was unusual, that it was almost white, and that her skin was pale, unlike most of the children that she went to school with. She didn't like playing outside as much as the other kids, and why was she always drawing? Middle school was a dangerous place if you weren't equipped for it, and Juliet sure wasn't. Sometimes the boys in her class would become silly and call her a snowman (to her irritation, not a snow woman), but she brushed it off. She still had her loyal girlfriends and her brother to keep her company. She thought that everybody went through this sort of thing. Kids became teenagers, children who previously didn't care about magazines became self-concious young men and women who had to have the latest shoes, or maybe they had to have that new watch. They didn't "play" any more, they "hung out." And of course, they began to categorize one another. There were a lot of categories, but there were the two main ones: popular and unpopular. Juliet was in between; her friends treasured her, but the others didn't really notice her. She was quiet, after all. Back then, she was a normal girl, who wanted normal things. People began to "get together;" couples were formed, and naturally, Juliet wanted a boyfriend too. It was all about drama: break ups, betrayals, talking behind one another's backs. Juliet was reasonable enough to stay out of trouble, but she was still involved one way or another. To a boy, she was just a normal, quiet, plain girl who looked kind of weird. Weird, but beautiful. Her world was still pink. However, her view of the world changed when she got into Grade 8. She and her brother, Cody, had decided that they would surprise their parents with Christmas gifts. It was December 20th, and she could still remember everything clearly. It was getting late, and the night was already upon them. Christmas lights were still twinkling, and Christmas spirit was in the air. Juliet had decided on a gift for both her parents: it was a small, beautifully decorated picture frame with roses and flowers on it. She wanted to draw a picutre of her family beside their new Christmas tree (they got rid of their usual one; it was too old). She didn't know what her brother wanted to get. It was a "surprise." The biggest surprise, though, happened that night, and it was far from a pleasant surprise. She and her brother were chatting amiably, and they had just rounded the corner onto a rather trashy part of the city. It was there where she saw it: there was a man on the ground. He looked old; perhaps he was around 60. He was wearing a red coat, red pants, and his shoes were also red. At first, Juliet stupidly wondered why this man who was obviously in the Christmas mood (since he was wearing all red), was lying on the ground. Was he a homeless person? Despite her brother's protests, she went to get a closer look. She then also saw another man, he was in all black, and blended in with the dark alley. He had a red pipe in his hand. She looked over at the man who was supposedly sleeping, and saw bits of white on his shirt, and a whole white part on his pants. No, the man wasn't wearing all red, and he wasn't in the Christmas mood. He was lying in his own pool of blood, and the man in black was responsible. Before she could scream, or do anything for that matter, the man was on her, wrestling with her. She pathetically tried to get away from him, but either the man had an iron grip or she was weaker than she thought she was. Her brother was already beside her, yelling at the man, telling him to let go. At first, the man would do no such thing. There was no way he was going to let these two kids get away after they witnessed the mugging. But then he realized that none of them could really get a good look at his face, since he was wearing a long, black scarf. Juliet or Cody wouldn't have been able to identify him in the dark. He let go of Juliet, and they both thought they were safe. Nope. There were more of them; she wasn't able to count them all. They were soon surrounded. She wasn't able to think properly at the time; she was confused, shocked, and terrified at the same time. She could only make out one sentence: "Give us all your money." She fainted at that moment. She woke up in a familiar room, in a familiar bed. Cody had carried her home. How he did it, she didn't know, but she had a queasy pit in her stomach when she realized that she didn't have her Christmas present. When she managed to get downstairs, she could hear her brother Cody telling them what happened. Apparently he had to really give everything they had, and even after that, they were still reluctant to let them go. When her parents caught sight of her, they immediately rushed to give her a hug, comforting her and telling her it was all right. Cody told them that he was going to become a police. The rest of the episode went on without her. Apparently no arrests were made since neither Cody nor Juliet could identify the muggers, and the old man who was mugged was't talking. This frustrated her to no end; after all, he had just been mugged. He should at least tell them something. Still, he refused to say anything, and why, nobody knew. Her friends at school had heard about it, and they were consoling her as well, but she put up a front, saying that she was all right and that the past is the past. However, to this day, she tends to not trust men other than her brother and her father. It was in high-school that the boys began to notice Juliet. If you got past the unusual quirks in her appearance, she was actually quite beautiful. It was too bad for them though, because she had gotten over men, and was now more art orientated. She had already turned down three guys in her first two months of high-school. Her girlfriends remained close, and the guys in her classes would also try to get close, but Juliet had succeeded in creating an invisible barrier that kept people out. Still, the guys kept trying. Juliet had managed to become president of the Arts Club at her high-school, and she graduated at the top of her class. By then, the boys had realized that she didn't want to get with them, and had resorted to admiring her beauty from afar. It was that trait of men that she didn't like about them; they only looked at your appearance. None of the guys who tried to date her bothered to actually look at her. Well, that was something that they had to figure out on their own, and big surprise, none of them did figure it out. At this point in her life, the world wasn't pink any more; there were now tints of red, black, blue, and a whole lot of other colours. She got into an art college that was recommended to her by a fellow artist and teacher, a man who went by the name of Mr. Lasser. He adored her art, and she adored his. He was her favourite teacher out of all of them, and even though he was a man, she was comfortable around him. It was mainly because he loved art the way she did, and she readily accepted him because of that. She was as popular in college as she was in high school, but she still turned down any guy who had the guts to ask her out. She had a reputation back then: she was a pretty, quiet girl who refused to go out with anyone. And this didn't stop the guys from trying. She didn't look at them twice, though. She was concentrated on art, and she graduated from college too, again at the top of her class. By this time, her world was now slowly changing. The pink was beginning to fade away, and new colours were coming in. It wasn't all black and grey, though. There were other pleasures in life. Like her art, for example. Her art was what made her world beautiful. She also knew that love could turn her world pink again, and she longed for somebody who would understand her, and not try to get with her just because she had a pretty face. Nobody like this appeared, much to her disappointment. After graduation, she moved out of her beloved home that she had stayed all her life. She went to Los Angeles. The place itself was beautiful, and was thriving with inspiration. There were lots of people there too; maybe she would have a shot at love. The man of her dreams could very well be living in the large city of Los Angeles. Once she got there, she immediately forced herself to get a job. She didn't become a lawyer or a doctor, although she very well could. She became an art professor at UCLA. It wasn't the best paying job, but with it, she managed to get by. But that wasn't the important part. No, the most important part was that it was a job that she loved doing. It pleased her to share her love for art to her students. She was one of the most popular professors at UCLA, but she remained distant and polite. During class, though, she transformed into a radiant, flamboyant, and passionate woman who taught her students everything she knew about art. This was the trait that her students loved about her. She continues to teach art to this day, and occasionally visits her brother every now and then. He also lives in Los Angeles. She now continues to live on, wondering how fate will change the colours of her world.
