[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Veronica is a student at UCLA majoring in Psychology. The pinkette loves her classes and records them religiously. She plays the recordings back at home to take notes. It's her plan to be top of the class and failure is not an option. She takes night classes since her mornings are consumed with the task of being a personal assistant to a lawyer. Her father got her the job of shadowing him thinking it would give her good experience. Her father thinks that becoming a lawyer is more befitting of someone of her status then what she had in mind. It's not exactly a job but she does go to class for it so she's a student. From Friday to Saturday, her school-free days, she goes to ballet classes. Veronica wanted to be a professional ballerina, that's completely out of the question so she only takes classes so her skills don't get rusty.
[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Appearance
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] Veronica is cute, first and foremost. With her current hair she can't be anything else. It's not what it always used to look like. Before she came to LA, Veronica's hair was long and well brown. It came past her shoulders in thick waves and curled to an end at her waist. Her obsession with flowers led her to always put a flower behind her ear. However when she moved to LA, she wanted a change. Veronica sliced off all her hair up to her chin and dyed it bubble gum pink. It was her one attempt at teen rebellion. Sometimes she'll let it grow out, which it does quickly, but she'll always dye the roots. The eyes are the window to the soul especially in Veronica's case. For someone who's perfected faking expressions she has no control whatsoever over what her eyes project. Her eyes are round and wide giving her the face of a child. Her eyes, for lack of better terms, are a prussian blue. She doesn't hate her eyes quite the contrary she adores them. What she doesn't like is the size of them. Veronica hates being treated like a child but she still looks like one and the size of her eyes only worsen the case. Then again what's a girl to do. Her nose is a button nothing more nothing less. Her ears make her look like Dumbo the Elephant so she hides them behind her hair. Her cheeks pop out of her face and are exceptionally large. Don't touch them, don't comment on them and don't even stare at them for too long because she will get upset. Veronica has freckles but freckles are classified under blemishes so she hides them under make-up. Veronica has what you would call a ballerina body. A thin body with a almost completely flat chest. She's both happy and sad about the fact though since she looks like a boy but then again it helps when it comes to jumps. She won't be getting a height award either only being 5'4 but long legs and long limbs kind of give the illusion she's taller. Veronica is 103 pounds but the fact it's almost all muscle makes it seem like she weighs a lot less.
[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Personality
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] Perfect. Perfection is hard to achieve because the definition of perfection differs from person to person. Veronica has worked for years, since she can remember, to make her parents proud. She had to be their princess. Veronica has been told when to laugh, to smile and to wave. She was a puppet. Eventually her puppet behavior became her personality, that’s where her confusion is born. Veronica doesn’t understand who she is. She has lost herself in a role and she doesn’t know how to be found. This confusion isn’t something you see, it’s deeply buried and Veronica herself tries to suppress it. She doesn’t want to dig it back up and realize that the person she has been for the past eighteen years was a lie. It would be too painful. Veronica’s persona is a princess; at times an arrogant one but a princess nonetheless. Everyone knows that a proper princess must be elegant, poised and polite. A refined young woman and that about sums up Veronica in a nutshell. She’s a master at small talk and a charming young lady. There isn’t a time she’s said a bad thing to a person at least not to their face. Veronica talks to everyone and has no qualms about social status or how much money you have. As long as you are decent to her she’ll be decent to you. It’s as simple as that. Of course she isn’t perfect no matter how much she tries to be. Veronica is two-faced most wouldn’t know this off the bat. If you get her angry she’ll go off and throw a tantrum. She’ll never lose her cool in front of people preferring to keep her feelings bottled up. All the sadness and anger is poured out in the confines of her bedroom. She doesn’t want to depend on people. Veronica has kept up the illusion that she is flawless for so long that she has considered many emotions as futile and as weaknesses. Appearances must be kept up. She masks her emotions with a beautiful face. Veronica could fear for her life or could be miserable but you won’t know. If she looks good and put together on the outside then she'll be the same on the inside. Veronica is very closed off and very hard to get close to. She has perfected lying to people so that her mask is believeable. Veronica is terrified of showing weakness and letting people in so she can be paranoid at times. She’s very critical of her friends, she could care less about the people she’ll only see once but if you are trying to befriend her you’ll have a hard time. To make goody-goody with Veronica you’ll need to impress her without upstaging her. She wants to be the best and the only one you look at. She feeds off of people’s attention, their affection. She is very needy being and wants to be adored. Veronica aims to be held on a pedestal and will not be pushed down. She’s vain and is very particular about her appearance. If she doesn’t look her best she won’t be seen even the people closest to her haven’t seen her without make-up. That’s because without it Veronica would look exhausted. She’s dedicated to being the best at everything and she is literally working herself to death. Everything she does must be just right, she’s a perfectionist to an extreme. She’ll skip meals, stay up late and drink energy drinks till she can’t take it anymore so that she can finish a project. Being a multitasker is impossible since most of the time her attention can only be focused on one thing at a time. A very simple-minded person. There is a real human being underneath layers of acting. Someone that’s been lost and buried for so long she doesn’t know up from down. Every once in awhile she’ll peek out; a stutter here, a blush there, an obscure obsession. She does have emotions, no matter how small. She does have dreams, ones she’ll probably never achieve. But most of all she does want to be loved, no matter how much she fears letting someone in. Then again this world wasn’t made for tales of true love, and gibberish like believing in yourself is all you need to do. The world is a much harsher place then disney movies and fairy tales make it seem. Veronica isn’t going to sit around and wait for her prince to come no matter how much she’d wish someone would whisk her away. There are people who have plans for her and her only goal in life is to fulfill those plans. Flawed.
[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] History
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] Life for Veronica wasn’t bad, never was and probably never will be. That’s her opinion though others feel bad for her, pity her even. Her mother was young and in love when she got pregnant but she wasn’t in love with the man she married. Her mother’s name was Isabella Di Costa, an italian fashion designer. She met a businessman by the name of Nico Ferrari and it wasn’t a story of love at first sight. The met, they talked and they dated; they got married after a year and life was calm. It’s not that they loved each other, more like toleration, a marriage of convenience. They were more friends than lovers. Mr.Nico always had business partners flowing in and out of the house. A common visitor was an American by the name of Michael Reese. At first it was just heated looks across the table, then it was slight brushes of the skin when one of them went by but it quickly escalated. The result being Veronica. Both of her parents reacted differently. Her mother smothered her with love and attention trying to ease the guilt of having committed adultery. Her father on the other hands grew cold and distant knowing in his heart he was raising someone else’s child. That would create a devastating snap in Veronica’s psych but that was in the future. Her childhood wasn’t a miserable one but she couldn’t deny that her father was drifting away from her. Even so Veronica clung with all her might trying to get him to look at her, to praise her, something more than a cutting remark. What could she do to get his approval? Veronica couldn’t understand what she had done wrong. After each rejection she ran into her mother’s arms and sobbed till she fell asleep. It was a cycle of woe that increased the tension in the house to breaking point. It was a long and slow process that went on for years. The tension reached breaking point on Veronica’s sixth birthday. Her mother got her a bear; the softest bear you’d ever see. Veronica held it to her chest and nestled her head into it’s soft fake fur. It’s eyes was large and glassy but it was an adorable bear nonetheless. The smile on her mother’s face could be seen from a mile away but it darkened quickly when her father walked into the room. He snatched the bear out of her hands and stared down at her. “Veronica Ferrari, don’t be consumed with such childish gibberish. It will make you soft.” He barked at her before squeezing the bear’s head tightly in his hand. It didn’t take much for the bear’s eyes to pop out of it’s socket and roll towards her on the tiled floor. Nico Ferrari tossed the bear to the ground and turned to walk away. Veronica fell to her knees and shuffled her way over to her damaged bear. She picked up the broken body and cradled it in her arms. She looked up to see her father’s back. “I don’t ever want to see that thing again.” A second ticked by as Veronica looked down at the bear’s blank face. She closed her eyes and slumped forward. “Yes, father.” she said. She only got a grunt in response before her father left the room and she felt her mother’s arms around her. Veronica turned away sharply yanking her body out of reach. “I’ll be in my room.” She got up and walked towards the two eyes. She swiftly picked them up and made her way towards her room. Veronica looked down at the bear’s face before tossing it into the deepest pits of her closet. She put the eyes in a little jewelry box and stared at the closed closet door. The bear just didn’t look the same anymore. She knew what she had to do after that; she had to grow up. Veronica did a complete rehaul, she cleared her room of every doll, toy and stuffed animal. She threw out all her cartoon and animated movies. She did have one movie that wasn’t animated that she couldn’t bare part with, Swan Lake Ballet was an obsession of hers. She’s been taking classes for it since she four, that’s when she first saw the movie. Veronica even begged her mother to let her take gymnastics along with it so she could get a better handle of the stresses she’d be put under when she’d start en pointe. If she wasn’t at school she was in class, if she wasn’t in class she was sleeping, if she wasn’t sleeping she was stretching. This cycle continued for most of her childhood until she got to highschool. So far Veronica was pleased at the progress she had made. Her father seemed to actually be proud to parade her around. It brought a smile to her face to hear her father brag about his beautiful daughter. She had fulfilled her goal. Her father only pushed her harder though; study more, practice more she had no option but to push herself harder. It left little room for a social life yet alone romance. Being in a relationship never crossed her mind till her mother brought it up one night. Veronica just let it slip her mind and just decided that it wasn’t part of her plans. Graduation day was predictable. She was called upstage, gave her speech, received her award for being top of class and was immediately flown to Los Angeles. Her father had already bought an apartment for her to stay in. That’s what happened but what most don’t know is that it’s not what Veronica wanted. Her father wanted her to be a lawyer but Veronica, well Veronica wanted to be a professional ballerina. A dream that’s stayed with her since she was a child and she knew that her best shot at reaching her goal was going to Juilliard. Her father downright refused to think about it. She had spent weeks begging and pleading with him to reconsider, to give it a change. “It’s not practical,” he said. “How will you make money?” he asked. In his eyes she was to go to UCLA, work for a friend of his to get experience and become a lawyer. It would make her father proud which is something she had always wanted to do but she couldn’t help the tugging at her heart. When it came time to send in her applications not only did she send one to UCLA Veronica sent one to Juilliard. She didn’t have high expectations and had nearly forgotten about it until she arrived at her penthouse. Two letters were in the mall; one from the college of her dreams and the college that was her future. Veronica opened the second letter first and wasn’t surprised to see she was accepted. She was already working for her father’s friend so adding school into the mix wouldn’t be all too difficult. It was highschool all over again. If she wasn’t in ballet classes, she was working and if she wasn’t working she was learning. Her future was planned out from then on. Then again the other envelope would tell her whether or not what she wanted could have been even possible. She opened it with shaking hands and couldn’t bear contain her utter grief and disappointment when she saw what was inside. Veronica had been accepted.

[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Veronica doesn't drive a car. They were too slow for the type of life she had so she got something faster. She wasn't the most experienced rider in the world but she's been on the back of a few bikes before. On one of her errand runs she went by store where she saw the most beautiful bike. It's now officially the love of her life and she doesn't go anywhere without it. Veronica's baby is a 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650 with ABS. It's completely black with some gray detailing on the sides. This girl can hold her liquor quite well for someone of her size. Veronica isn't a heavy drinker, not all the time anyway. She's been drunk on more than one occasion after a emotional outburst. It's not the prettiest time for her but it's becoming more and more common for her to head to a bar in her free-time. It really takes the edge off when she thinks she can't handle anymore. At first she had a fake ID but after giving large tips and visiting more and more often Veronica just began to leave it at home. Getting a fake ID was much easier than she expected, she just spoke to the less studious students at the college and they pointed her in the right direction. Veronica payed big bucks to get a authentic-looking ID. No one seems to question her presence anymore anyway since the bartender seems to get along with her just fine. That bear that her father destroyed when she was little is still sitting in her new apartment. She even still has the eyes. Veronica has been meaning to find time to get the eyes fixed and sell it but for some reason she just can't bring herself to. There's that and the fact that she usually has no time to be running around looking for a seamstress to fix up a teddy bear. Veronica never had time to name the bear when she first got him but days after she moved in and saw the bear again a name popped to mind. The bear she still sleeps with is called Archibald Ferrari, or just Archie for short. She's not really sure where she found the time but even in her busy schedule Veronica plays League of Legends. She's quite proud to say that she's actually pretty good at the game and is quite happy to talk to any fellow player. A girl at her ballet class introduced her to MMOPRG's and Veronica was hooked. She hesitated at first thinking it was stupid to try but then she realized she had nothing to lose. What really got her was the difficulty at first. It pushed her and Veronica always likes a good challenge. A lot of her classmates were surprised since usually she's quite the stiff person. She told herself that they actually helped her by making her strategize but honestly she just likes to win things. Veronica doesn't spend a lot of time on it, usually three to four hours a week at most. It's a guilty pleasure.
