[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] What a wonderful Tuesday it was! A wonderful Tuesday in which Leon was currently freaking out over what was his hair. After hours being lazy on his bed watching TV, he finally sought to make an appearance. But where the hell did he put that hair gel? It had to be somewhere - oh. Oh. He had used all of it yesterday. There had only been a little left and when he went to the Gardens he got somewhat... sidetracked. And then he forgot to pick up some hair gel. Oh that was just wonderful. He wondered if any of the others in the band had any. He could do with it for one day - just one day. Then he had to get his own. There was one specific high quality brand he used and if he used any other he would just... His hair would not be in the perfectly messy way that it usually was. Leon felt... well, he was very miserable.
Man, if only he hadn't forgotten to get his hair gel yesterday. He wouldn't be in this predicament. He really wasn't looking forward to his trek towards the mall. And he really hoped Theo didn't mind if he borrowed a bit of his hair gel. While he was still despairing over how his hair would not be perfect for today, he couldn't just do nothing about it. Sure, it was wasn't exactly ugly, but it wasn't up to Leon-standards either (though what would be? His standards were ridiculously high). He tried his very best to bring his hair to it's luster and shine and perfection. Though when he looked in the mirror, he found himself dismayed at his hair. Oh well. It would have to do for now.
And thus commenced his walk of shame out of the penthouse with his not-so-perfect hair. Dammit, he would never forget the hair gel again. This was just humiliating and embarrassing. Although in all truth nobody actually noticed, he was just... self-conscious. His precious hair gel. It would be best if he just made a quick getaway. Go in the mall, grab the gel, pay for it, and then dash back to the hotel as quick as he could. God, he could already feel the gel failing on him, and he wasn't even out of the front door! How in the world did his brother use this product, just really?! He swore, at the same time tugging the hood of his sweater up and hiding a good amount of his hair. He really, really hated this.
But Leon managed to make it to the mall, occasionally casting paranoid gazes around him. What if someone saw his hair!? Oh the horror! He walked briskly towards the nearest store (which just so happened to have hair products) and started to scan his eyes over the nearest shelves. Nope. Nope. Not it. Oh... I really like this comb I think I'll just add it to my collection of fifty thousand combs. But hair gel. That was his primary goal. Where the hell was it?

[style=padding-top: 246px; color: #f7efd0; font-family: georgia; font-size: 11px; font-style: italic; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: center; line-height: 5px;]Words: 000 Tags: Leon Dated: April 24th [/style] Alyssa had a lot of hair. And to top it all off, it was wavy and if she didn't put a lot of thought and care into it, who knew what kind of tangled mess she'd walk around with on her head everyday. Something could get lost in it if that happened, she was sure.
But aside from wanting to look her best, which of course was still an important point, the blonde was focusing on her hair because it wasn't worrying about her brother. Her current options on how to spend her time were literally to either brood in her apartment over Kittim or go out and occupy herself. Quite honestly, she'd rather not do the former because no good would come out of that, and she would show some control by waiting until their appointed tea party in a few weeks to see him. So to exhibit this control, she decided was going to buy hair products. Thus out the door she went.
King's Mall was the obvious choice to go shopping. Maybe she'd look at clothes too, take advantage of the opportunity. Malls had everything, right? And this mall was a pretty big one if she wasn't mistaken. But first came hair, since technically she was running low on shampoo and conditioner, and you could never have too much hair spray. Especially with a weave like hers.
As luck would have it, the moment she set foot in the giant building Alyssa spotted hair products in a store. Yeah so maybe it wasn't a high fashioned hair dedicated store, but it was a start. Besides, it was conveniently close so it wouldn't hurt to take a look.
Getting right down to business, the blonde inspected the rows of scented shampoos with their matching conditioners. This was always the hard part. What scent? Fruity? Or maybe coconut... though did that (apparently) "fresh water" one smell any good? Grabbing a bottle, she opened the cap and took a quick sniff. Not too bad, honestly. Maybe she'd actually get these today. Keeping her experimental shampoo in her grasp, Alyssa reached for one more, and completed the sets with two conditioners. Juggling them all in her arms, it wasn't until she was sure she was steady that the violinist be van the search for hairspray. A few bottles were standard, aka absolutely necessary. She could hold that, right? They were pretty small, so she was pretty sure she could.
"Now hair spray... just where would you be..." It took a good few minutes to locate said product. And when she finally did, Alyssa stared at their placement. Dismay showing plain as day on her face, they happened to be right on the top shelves. Could she really reach up and snag them without dropping everything? Glancing to the load in her arms already, the female pursed her lips. Well she might as well try and give it a shot. Rearranging the bottles to stay in the hold of one arm, the girl slowly and cautiously reached her left hand up to where the containers of hairspray were.
And then a conditioner (or maybe it was shampoo she couldn't exactly check) slipped to the floor. The rest of them followed suit not a moment later, and the hollow clatter of the plastic bottles making contact with the ground seemed to echo in the scarcely occupied store. Amber eyes grew wider in shock when the ground wasn't the only thing they hit.
"I am so so sorry!" she exclaimed to the boy whose foot was unfortunately in the path of semi-destructive soap bottles. Getting to her knees right away, she attempted to gather all of her purchases in her arms as quickly as she could. She might have left a bottle or two rolling but she got the majority of them in a timely enough manner. At least she was able to get up in only a few seconds, sparing too much embarrassment. "Though with this stunt... I can't avoid any of the humiliation." She dropped things on someone's foot! Only clumsy actors in comedy shows did that!
Gazing back at the poor victim of her loose grip, "Really, so sorry. I should have been holding onto them more carefully- oh how stupid was I not to put them down beforehand?! That would have been much smarter wouldn't it..." Her last sentence trailed off rather than sounding like an actual question, coming off as an uncertainty than anything.
"Ack- I mean, are you okay?" Why didn't she ask that first?!

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] Leon should have known this was going to happen. He should have known it. Well, two of these things that he should have known happened to him. The first one he had been somewhat prepared for though still dismayed for - the fact that he couldn't find the exact brand he was looking for. Maybe he should have picked stores with more than just the 'run and hide' method, but he was at least lucky he landed in a store that actually carried some semblance of hair products. The second one though - this was always his problem when it came to shopping about something hair related, and he never did quite realize or remember this habit of his until too late and he was already taken in by the mass amounts of hair products that this store did have.
Shampoos that he didn't need, conditioners that he didn't need, hell, even a bottle of hair dye in case Theo wanted some. He might as well, since he had 'borrowed' his brother's hair gel in the morning. One would think with the high quality brands he already had at home, he would just overlook the section, but this was a problem for him. He needed to look, smell, examine each and every product just in case one held something more beneficial than another that he already owned. And if it smelled great, even better! It was growing into a bigger problem each and every time, but how could he resist? They were just... so tempting, and being there...
Of course, he had to have brought enough money with him, didn't he? Leon knew he would probably be buying a lot of things, which meant he was probably going to bring a lot more products home. Good thing he took the car, he couldn't imagine what it would be like if he had to lug all of this back to the penthouse walking. He'd probably give up five minutes into the walk and call someone to pick him up. He never really was much of a hard worker. In fact, in all actuality, it would be a difficulty to actually get them into the car for that matter. Since he had parked... a bit far (so sue him, the parking lot was nearly full!). OH, and would you look at that, something else. Pomade, which he didn't use all that often, but it was useful for styling hair into something neat and slick, which was a style he liked but didn't use as often as he would have liked too.
Though the last time he had bought pomade had to be years ago, back in Japan - or even Germany! He added it to the pile (or rather, the basket) of things he was to buy, which was accumulating rather quickly. And still, still he had not found what he had been looking for, which was the hair gel. He was just about the quit and look for another store (after paying for all the products current in his possession), when a rather loud crashing sound reached his ears and some bottles of fell on and around his feet. Though for some reason this girl was profusely apologizing, and he finally made the connection it was she who had done it. He still didn't quite get why she was apologizing, though.
"It's... alright? Why, though, it's not your fault." At least, he was pretty sure it wasn't her fault. It took him only a moment - mostly because he was looking at the utter destruction on the floor in front of him - for him to notice the luscious hair of this girl and he literally had his heart skip a few beats as he was rendered speechless at the sheer beauty of it. And from the looks of it, she took care of it, at least that was what Leon had gathered from all the hair products. Nothing was better than a person that took care of their hair, he knew. "Don't freak out over it, it was just an accident." He put down his own basket to help her gather some of the things that had dropped on the floor.
"And I'm fine, of course. No need to worry about me." To be perfectly honest, Leon was only dismayed since he had planned a quick getaway once he finished his shopping due to his unfortunate mess of a hair. Oh well, it couldn't be avoided now. "High top shelves sure are horrible though, aren't they?" He should know - he wasn't exactly very tall, and top shelves unfortunately had many of the things that he needed for his hair. And he had neglected to check them for his hair gel too because of his height too... maybe he should do that in the unfortunate case that his very wanted prize would be there.
in which bubbles needs to keep leon's hair 'appreciation' to moderation because all he's done ever is appreciate hair. |

Words: 323 Tags: Leon Dated: April 24th It wasn't really her fault? But she dropped them! That officially put the blame on her, in her opinion. And besides, even if she hadn't, the fact the bottles were hers which meant she was the root of it all anyways so... so it was her fault, right? Furrowing her eyebrows, Alyssa wasn't too convinced she didn't need to apologize.
"But it was my fault. I was the one who dropped them and- ah I should go pick them up, shouldn't I?" A mildly horrified look crossed her face as it dawned on her that she hadn't even tried to clean her mess in the first place yet. Someone actually had to begin before her... "I should have just apologized and acted quickly to pick everything off the floor...!" Falling to her knees immediately, Alyssa worked on gathering up the scattered hair products, making sure they were secure in her grip this time. God forbid she dropped them a second time...
"Thanks for the help. And I'm glad you're not hurt or anything on top of that."
Rising to her feet once more, her future purchases staying in her arms this time, the male's comment allowed a good humored smile to slip onto the blonde's face despite her misgivings on these recent events. "Yeah, they really are. Not everyone is a giant, right?" Glancing up at the shelves in question, the hairspray still sitting there reminded her of the unfinished business they had. She'd be smarter to put down the rest of her things before she attempted to grab them again though. "But I wonder..."
Turning back towards the other, she asked, "Did you need anything up there too? I gotta grab some hair spray so I could get whatever you needed while I'm at it." Might as well, unless of course he didn't actually need anything in the first place. And if he did... Hm she supposed it could even be seen as repayment for dropping shampoo on his foot. Even if he claimed it wasn't her fault.

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] It wasn't too long before the girl started to join Leon in the great quest of picking up... all of these bottles. Because really... how did she hold all of them in her arms? "Do you need a cart... or something? Just so you don't drop them again, I mean." He didn't even have this many products in his basket, and he knew what he did have he could not fit in his arms. Her balancing act was actually scaring him a bit, since he didn't quite want a repeat performance on it heavens forbid if more people saw him in this improper state!, seeing as it'd draw more people towards this place in which they would be able to make their line of sight connect to his imperfect hair. Actually... he already got seen, much to his extreme embarrassment, and by someone who was probably versed in hair.
He really did have some shoddy luck. Ah well. She didn't seem to notice it, and if she did at least she didn't mention it. "You couldn't have predicted that they would've fallen, so it's really not your fault." He handed the two bottles that he had picked up. "And no problem. I don't mind helping at all. I'm not hurt - the bottles aren't that heavy." And I didn't slip on them, that's good, that would have been even worse. He didn't need to get any closer to the ground than he already was.
"Oh... um... yeah, I guess. If you see any hair gel up there..." But why was he letting her do that for him? All he had done was pick up some bottles. "It's not need, I'll get it myself, really." And as he took a step towards her direction he tripped over his own basket full of hair products that he had set down to help her and got closer to the ground. "Y'know what, if there's some L'oreal Professionnel Homme Wet Hair Gel that'll be really nice if you see some up there." Okay well, now that he had tripped this day was ever worse. "If not... I guess I'll settle with Studio Line." And he still hadn't picked himself up. Because communicating the correct type of hair gel was definitely more important than actually picking himself up from off the floor. |

Words: 323 Tags: Leon Dated: April 24th A cart... why yes, that did seem much more efficient than struggling with the products in her arms. At first it honestly hadn't seemed like much, just a few, but as they built up, and seeing them splayed out before her, Alyssa clearly saw how overboard she went. "I need to stop impulse shopping." But at least once she bought them all she would be all set for awhile, which put off the chance of another mishap.
Smiling ruefully at the bottles she had tried balancing all at once, she said, "Yeah, I guess I do need one. All the bottles just piled up, there are too many different scents to just pick a few. I got... carried away big time." Glancing around, the carts were easily spotted near the entrance. Seems like she managed to walk right past them too. "I should really think things through before I rush in." But it would be better to get these all off the floor and at least out of the way before running over to grab one. Didn't need them causing more trouble than they already had.
When explained, Alyssa rethought her logic on whose fault it was that this all happened. She supposed that that was true, she couldn't predict it. Maybe it was more of an instinct then, apologizing whether it was her fault or not. "I guess you're right," she conceded. Though now she should probably stay true to her offer and take a look at that infamous top shelf. Carefully putting the bottles she'd gathered on the floor and out of the aisle this time, the blonde glanced at the dark haired male puzzled. Oh, he wanted to get it himself? She'd almost figured it'd be a subtle way to thank him for assisting her in picking up her mess, but if he really wanted to-
The violinist outwardly flinched as he went plunging to the ground, tripping over his own basket. "Ouch..." Opening her mouth as if to ask once again if he was okay, he beat her to it by retracting his previous rejection of her offer. L'oreal Professional Homme Wet Hair Gel, or Studio Line, huh? Well it wasn't any question that he made sure to take good care of his hair, the brands so specific. Not too unlike her, in a way. And with that in mind, she reasoned it'd make him feel better to have his hair gel rather than get up first.
Stretching up once more onto her tip toes, amber eyes scanned the shelf for his hair gel and her hair spray. "L'oreal... L'oreal... aha!" Grinning triumphantly as she found the brand he preferred, she snatched the bottle up and found her own hair spray soon after. "It's your lucky day!" she exclaimed, though a bit overly theatrical she'd admit. "I got the L'oreal hair gel you wanted, but first... you want some help?" Offering him a free hand, she added as an afterthought, "And correct me if I'm wrong but you seem like you enjoy taking good care of your hair, so I can get another bottle if you'd like." In her position, it wouldn't be hard to reach another one anyways, especially if she might do the same for herself. And besides, he had quite a few hair products in his basket. It wasn't too awkward an assumption.

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] And there he was, lying on the floor, much more concerned about whether or not there was his hair gel or not. Please have L'oreal Professionnel Homme Wet Hair Gel... I really don't mind Studio Line but the quality's not so good... His hair was in dire need of some actually. Self-conscious as he was about it, he couldn't live with the scarce amount he had applied this morning (which really wasn't all that scarce from an average person's viewpoint). And then that was just about when the pain of the fall was registering. When he stopped obsessing about his hair and the product that he hoped to be up there, he started thinking about how painful the fall should have been and just then - just then - was when he felt how horrible it was to trip and land on one's face. He was never doing that again, not if he could help it.
'"Ah! They have it? Thank god, I didn't want to go looking somewhere else." He felt relaxed now and a good deal less tense now that Leon had found he would definitely be getting his hair gel and his hair could be salvaged! Thank goodness. He was planning to make a quick mistake, but his nose really was starting to sting and man did he hate pain. Pain was a bitch. It could just go die in a hole. "Oh, and I should try to get up, shouldn't I?" Maybe a couple of minutes while he waiting for the stinging sensation to go away. Sure, his face (oh, his beautiful face!) was the one that felt the most pain, but he was experiencing some discomfort (that was all he could call it, because although it was painful, it was nothing to the burning hell he felt on his face) on the area of his arms and legs.
"Thanks. I appreciate the help." He took her free hand, because obviously he couldn't pull himself up. "The floor is really hard, I don't recommend falling like I did. Really. I know you're curious but don't." Just like Leon to try to make a situation like this at least a bit comical. He was suffering from a rather hurt ego from suffering from such a fall as he had.
But he perked up just about as soon as he heard a mention of hair - rather his hair. And it wasn't an insult! Marvelous. Okay so maybe his hair was perfect, but he had rushed and over-reacted, and since he hadn't checked he had been thoroughly convinced that it was utterly horrible. "Yes, I do love take care of my hair. If it wasn't obvious." Leon could say the same for her. "Oh, and another bottle will be wonderful, thank you very much~. You seem to enjoy taking care of your hair as well." |

Pulling the boy up from the ground, or at least helping him do so, Alyssa giggled at his remark as he got to his feet.
"Alright, I'll do my best to resist the temptation. It'll be a struggle but I think I'll manage keeping your advice in mind." In all seriousness, though, if he was making a joke like that, it had to mean he wasn't too seriously hurt when he tripped, which was definitely a good thing. Furthermore, he seemed much happier with his hair gel in stock and the topic of hair. Topics Alyssa had no problem discussing at all.
"It certainly shows." He did have incredible hair, if she did say so herself. Not to stereotype, but it looked much better than most guys' who didn't bother to look into proper hair treatment. Turning back to snag more top shelf items, it was much easier to find the desired brand the second time around. "One more hair gel coming up!" She reached for her own preferred hair spray while she was at it.
Bottles in hand, she presented him his special L'oreal hair products. "Here ya go! And oh yes, I couldn't bear to see my hair in less than pristine condition. Not only would it look like a bird's nest, but it'd take forever to get back into the condition it is now, you know?" She'd made that mistake once, and it wasn't one she was willing to repeat. The feel of the tangled, dry, frizzy mess on her head was just the worst. "I can't stand a bad hair day."
A thought then occurred to her as she looked at the boy before her. "Oh! I never introduced myself did I? My name's Alyssa. You?"

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] Hair counteracted the pain for the most part, as he distracted himself with thoughts of such. His previous blunder really hurt his ego for the most part, but he found it still intact at the very least. Which was good, he supposed, though maybe not for other people. Or in normal people's standards, having a huge ego wasn't really good, was it? Oh well, he liked it so hell with that other people said. But he still stifled the urge to talk more about himself - although she had helped him with getting his hair gel, he barely knew her. What would she think, this maiden with such beautiful hair, if he just started talking about his own? No, and he was much more interested in her hair anyways. Then again that was creepy - he was always telling himself that was creepy.
But her hair. Could he please touch it? Or maybe he should ask for her name before doing something like that. He would definitely get thrown into jail for something like that - unwanted assault of hair. Plus, she was being so helpful so Leon didn't want to have her run away in shock and fear. Anyways, how would he explain being in jail then. So maybe jail was a bit of a hop, but still. It wasn't unheard of. Not of the hair... well. "Thanks, again. I guess I'm asking a lot of you today when I should be a gentleman. Sorry." She was practically a stranger and he was already making her cater to his whims. He took the extra bottle of hair gel for him into his hands a bit sheepishly.
Didn't even know her name, goodness. And he was already thinking such thoughts about her hair... it wasn't even the person herself, just her beautiful hair. But the real thing that was making him incredibly happy (aside from her hair, of course!) was that there was finally someone he could relate with when it came to his hair. "I know, bad hair days are horrible. No one I live with understands, they think I over-react." He couldn't even get them back by messing with their hair, they honestly really didn't care. Which was appalling and unbelievable for someone such as Leon. "Ah, no wonder your hair looks so nice."
Alyssa, what a nice name! A amazing name for a person with amazing hair. "Oh, I'm Leon. It's really nice to meet someone with the same appreciation of hair." Creeper waves were practically radiating off him at the moment. He was lying - there was no way that she had the same appreciation of hair, though she didn't have to know that. Hair care, however, was a completely different thing. |
