Terebellum is currently living alone in a small apartment that is located as close to the Impedio Society Headquarters as possible. Although he would much prefer to be outside, he stays inside most mornings because the Los Angeles sun and heat are too much for him. The apartment itself is rather sparse since he had little to begin with. The only notable decorations are his snowboards that hang along a spare wall in memory of what used to be.

AQUARIUM TOUR GUIDE , Although his parents are the ones paying for most of his expenses, most notably the apartment, Terebellum needed a job for personal expenses and has been lucky enough to get a part time job working at the Aquarium of the Pacific. He acts as an informant, teaching children about the Bering Sea and the creatures found there. He tries to stay near the penguin exhibit and Northern Pacific hall as often as possible because those areas are coolest. Prior to beginning his job there, he has been informed that the animals there are not to be eaten, no matter how appetizing the giant octopus might look.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT , If his upbringing had been anywhere near normal, Terebellum should currently be a senior in high school and preparing to graduate in about a month. However, due to some botched paper work and the fact that he has been home schooled most his life, he has been transferred into the twelfth grade and is being forced to repeat a year. This way they can accurately assess his skills and this solution made things simpler for the school system since weren't going to just let him graduate along with everyone else when he only just moved here.

IMPEDIO SOCIETY TRAINEE , Terebellum was born into the Impedio Society, and as a Dia no less, meaning that there will be no escape for him. His entire life has been in preparation for the moment he could join the upper ranks of the Impedio Society as a hunter. Due to the high Fate activity levels in Los Angeles, his training in the far reaches of Northern Canada has been cut short and he is expected to complete the rest of his training here.

When one looks at Terebellum, the most obvious thing about him is his bright, blond hair. The golden strands are pin straight and fall to about his ears. Prior to coming to Los Angeles, his hair was an uncommon sight; all too often, Terebellum hid it under hats or hoods, both for the purpose of keeping warm and so that he would not stand out in the little town of Grise Fiord. While blond hair may not be anything special in the United States, when one lives in a primarily homogeneous society of Inuit people, it's no surprise that he stands out. He would have dyed it a darker, less noticeable color when given the chance. However, things such as hair dyes are a luxury in such areas and it was simpler and longer lasting if he just hid it under a hat.

Next is his face. His face is undeniably attractive though he himself doesn't realize it. He does get compliments from the older generation in town but with no one else his age to compare to, he thinks that they are just being polite. His eyes are an indiscernible shade though most often described as either amber or light brown in color. No matter what the exact color, Terebellum would be happiest if he could hide them behind snow goggles. Sadly, Los Angeles does not provide many opportunities for such a look so his expensive Oakleys sit in a box until the day comes when he may use them again.

He stands at a good six feet tall and thanks to his life spent training and hunting for food as opposed to simply buying them at a store, Terebellum has well developed muscles and an athletic body that is normally hidden under layers of warm clothing. Due to the drastic differences in climate between where he lived and where he lives now, Terebellum’s wardrobe has also changed to reflect that shift. Gone are the large winter jackets and sweaters and instead his closet now primarily consists entirely of shorts and short sleeved shorts. He owns one or two pairs of long pants but he doubt’s he’ll wear them anytime soon. Not with such warm and consistent weather. Perhaps one day with consistent sunshine Terebellum will develop a healthy glow. Until then, his skin is pale due to his European heritage and lack of exposure to sunshine.

IMPULSIVE , Terebellum is incredibly adventurous. He is bold and always trying to push the limits in what he can do physically, especially if it involves snowboarding. Place some unknown food in front of him and he will have absolutely no qualms about trying it. He is willing to give almost everything a try so long as it’s not so out there that even he knows that it’s not safe. More specifically, this trait of his especially applies to when he is hungry. Animals that he happens to stumble upon and are legal for him to eat will become dinner.

INDEPENDENT , After a certain age, Terebellum has become independent to the point that he rejects most outside help. He can clean after himself, watch over the house, hunt for himself, and cook for himself. He is responsible and as long as he understands how things work, he can live alone no matter the situation. This does tend to bring out his rarely seen stubborn streak, unfortunately. Often times, he’d rather figure out for himself how things are supposed to work rather than ask someone for help. He believes that he is already more than old enough to be able to care for himself.

OBEDIENT , Terebellum grew up under the tutelage of his caretaker who has instilled within him a respect for his elders as well as a respect for the world around him. If someone tells him not to do something, he will listen because he is considerate. If someone asks him to do something for them, he will graciously do what he can to help. He is well-mannered and appreciative of what he has. Being a good child is what he considers the least he can do for them. On the other hand, if you are younger and of a lower rank, he expects you to show the same respect. If not, he is not against using physical means to instill that respect within them.

OBLIVIOUS , Simply put, he is one of those people that have never and probably will never be able to read atmospheres or people very well. He cannot tell when people are uncomfortable or judging him. It is very likely that if he says something completely off the mark, he is not saying it to be rude, he is more likely doing it because he misread the situation. Lack of association with a wide number of people has rendered him incapable of understanding emotions or being empathetic unless he has known that person for a while. Even then, it is still difficult to act with tact. In this case, it is simplest to tell Terebellum to be quiet because he will comply

CURIOUS , Los Angeles is a big place and has a world of things that Terebellum has, at most, maybe seen in pictures. With so much new to experience, he has a great curiosity that needs to be sated. His interests tend to fall more to the natural side than the modern, technological side but he still strives to understand everything that he had been previously cut off from.

ASOCIAL , Terebellum isn’t an introvert, per se. It is more accurate to describe him as someone unused to human contact. He does not hate it but a transition from a tiny, outer lying civilization of only 130 people to a huge city like Los Angeles is not an easy one. There are too many people and too little space. Here, he knows no one and it feels as if everyone is in a rush to get somewhere. His lack of tact when interacting with strangers does not help the situation much either.

UNMOTIVATED , He may have been born in the position of Terebellum Dia but he’s satisfied taking orders from higher ups. He has no real desire to force his way to the top. He does what he wants and nothing more nothing less. His parents think that he’s just being rebellious. After all, he is a teenager stewing in years’ worth of repressed teenage angst. Coming to LA provides him with the means and opportunity to complain about how much he hates the world and how nothing is ever right. And yes, while he does LA, he still doesn’t care much for advancing at his age.

MELLOW , It is very difficult to get Terebellum upset. Even then, there is rarely anger, only irritation and annoyance. He is very much laid back and because he is rarely the one in control, he finds it much easier to just relax and allow others to do the worrying. As long as he’s not the one responsible for anything other than himself, he’ll be perfectly fine.

Terebellum's parents did not meet by chance. No, that would have been much too lucky on his mother's part and if there was one thing that woman did not have, it was luck.

Terebellum's mother is what one might call a fangirl. Her family had been associates of the Impedio Society for years as only one of the multitude of rich families that helped to fund the secret society. Since a young age, Terebellum's mother had been fascinated with the society and what little she was allowed to know. What interested her most, however, were the infamous Dias and their seemingly never dying line of agents. Because of this, she decided from a young age that she would do whatever possible to marry into the Dia line. She was a spoiled, obsessive rich girl, but she was also a clever and manipulative fangirl that knew exactly how to get what she wanted.

It took the woman years, but after joining the upper ranks of her father’s company and rising to the highest position she could possibly rise to as an Impedio Society associate, Terebellum’s mother finally managed to track down a branch of the Dia line in Canada. After making sure that the main branch of her European company was secure, the woman left for Canada in order to “establish a North American branch” there.

Terebellum’s father is what one could only describe as unfaithful. Despite the fact that he was no longer as young as he once was, he was still fit thanks to training and more than well off enough to attract women from all over. When he met Terebellum’s mother, his parents were looking for him to settle down and put his lineage to good use. He had made a decent name for himself within the society by collecting artifacts for them but still refused to stop his playboy ways. Terebellum’s mother knew that and with a few well poked holes in their condoms, she was pregnant and they were married only a couple months later.

With a mother like his, it’s no surprise that his life was more or less planned from the moment they knew his gender. His name had been picked out months ahead of time, his school and future occupation already predicted for him. Terebellum’s mother had even begun researching potential families for her son to marry into. She never did have any luck though. The day, Terebellum was born her entire set of plans were derailed. That same day the letter informing the proud parents that they had just given birth to the newest Terebellum arrived and his mother’s carefully chosen name was thrown out and replaced with a birth certificate with the name Terebellum Dia. Everyone in the family considered it a great honor and his mother the fangirl was probably more excited than anyone else. Unfortunately for her, everything went downhill for her from there.

Growing up, Terebellum was not a stupid child. If anything he was rather intelligent but he wasn’t incredibly intelligent. He wasn’t as clever as his mother and it was clear from the get go that her child would be nothing but normal. Terebellum was so incredibly average in terms of his mental progression that he only continued to disappoint his mother further who wanted to give birth to some sort of genius. His father, who cared little for the family he was stuck with, left for months at a time on expeditions to foreign lands to retrieve artifacts and have secret rendezvous with the local women. It wasn’t long before his mother, who was so disappointed with how he wasn’t perfect and so possessive of her belongings, began to accompany his father on his trips. When Terebellum was four, his entire upbringing was handed over to his grandparents.

His grandparents were extremely devoted and proud to have a grandson that had been named the next Terebellum. Unlike his parents, they took his upbringing seriously and began training in order to prepare him to join the Impedio Society ranks. For the next three years, Terebellum was thrown into all sorts of training in order to judge what area of expertise best to train him in. Extra tutoring and martial arts training was required of him every day. On days he did well, his grandparents allowed him a moment of reprieve to do something fun. Terebellum’s choice was to either go snowboarding on the mountains outside their house or practice violin. Snowboarding helped strengthen his body and the violin was one of the few extracurricular activities that his grandparents considered useless but approved of him doing. Games and television were off limits.

It soon became apparent to anyone that cared that though he wasn’t a genius, the boy was strong and physically active. When the boy was seven, he was transported to his new home at one of the highest points in the world. He was handed to one of his grandfather’s trusted associates who agreed to raise the boy until he was old enough to join the society.

Grise Fiord is a tiny town with a total population of approximately 130 people. The town is largely homogeneous and other than the few odd tourists and visitors, is comprised entirely of Inuit people. In such a small town, Terebellum’s arrival did cause a bit of a stir but for the most part, the people welcomed him and carried on. Adoption is a common occurrence in Inuit cultures, after all. Ila, Terebellum’s newest caretaker, was a far cry from what the boy was used to. He was a strict character but, unlike what he grew up with, this man actually cared. He raised Terebellum as if he was his own child and instilled within him the necessary traits to be a good hunter and a good person in general.

Living in Grise Fiord, Terebellum soon learned the ways of Inuit living. He was home schooled, learned the language, and adapted to the cruel weather of the arctic. Soon, he would join the men in hunting for food; he wouldn’t have survived otherwise. There was one outpost store in the town and the imported goods there were much too outrageously priced to be a constant source of food. Luckily for Terebellum, the massive amount of snow nearly year round provided him with endless entertainment and snowboarding opportunities. Internet was a little used and unreliable commodity in their little town at the top of the world so it was easier to find things to do elsewhere.

Apart from adapting and learning to live in Grise Fiord, there were no shortage of monsters for Terebellum to hunt. Ila was something of the town’s protector and from a young age, Terebellum was brought along to learn how to fight and kill elementals and whatever creatures might threaten the existence of the town.

The order to transfer to Los Angeles had come as somewhat of a shock. Terebellum had never thought about what he might do after his training was finished but he had expected to stay in Canada or somewhere with lots of snow at the very least. LA was neither of those things. There was no arguing against orders though so he packed up his belongings and is now located in LA for the time being. He only hopes that whatever Fate activity there is, it will die down soon so he can leave LA and the hot sun that makes him feel like he’s in the pits of hell.

Terebellum’s artifact is a set of five small, perfectly balanced, concealable throwing knives. The knives have been passed down for generations through Terebellum’s line of the Dia family. It is clear from a glance that they are metal though what kind is debatable. They are thin and, while they can do damage, are light so unless handled properly, there is a good chance that the knives will bounce off the target and do minimal damage. What makes them special is that each knife comes with its own sheathe. The knives can be recalled back to their respective sheathes after battle should he ever lose track of them. In this way, unless he loses the sheathes themselves, he has no way of ever losing the knives.

On the off chance that the knives break - and it is possible for the knives to break - he will have to get them repaired by someone familiar with Kingdom era weaponry (Lupus would be the best choice).

- Terebellum is almost completely technologically inept. Grise Fiord wasn’t completely cut off from technology but it wasn’t the most reliable so he rarely used it. At best he can turn on a computer, surf the internet, and make phone calls. Hand him something like a 3DS or an iTouch and he would be completely confused.

- His snowboard of choice is his custom Burton camber twin snowboard. It was a gift for his fifteenth birthday and had to be specially imported. It is well worn from how often he used to take it out. Now, it hangs on his wall until winter comes and he can escape from Los Angeles for just a bit.

- Life in such a remote place left much to be desired in terms of transportation. Terebellum has his motorcycle license because motorcycles are one of the primary modes of transportation in the summer, the second being all terrain vehicles. During the winter months, if he didn’t travel using a snowmobile, there were always sled dogs. Apart from that, he has been allowed to pilot a plane before, albeit illegally because the pilot decided to give him a chance to experience it. He cannot, however, drive a car.

- Prior to leaving Grise Fiord, Terebellum was the only one of his age group living in that town at the time. Everyone was either already well over twenty two or under the age of thirteen. This is one of the reasons that he has never questioned his sexuality; there was no one there he was actually sexually attracted to or even had the potential to give him pause.

- He actually really likes vegetables. Leafy greens were such a precious commodity and delicacy that he eats as much of it as he can whenever he gets a chance.

- He's had experience with a multitude of weaponry from shotguns to harpoons. Large guns make it much easier to take down creatures such as belugas and polar bears.

- Terebellum has retained his ability to play the violin even after the regular lessons stopped. He hadn’t planned on continuing the violin but the children of Grise Fiord discovered his ability and would periodically ask him to play for them. With some diligence and a multitude of Skype violin lessons courtesy of his grandparents, to this day, he can play the violin moderately well although he prefers snowboarding more.
