Aimee had never seen anything like it. That morning when she woke up she thought she was going to be taking pictures of an old historic hotel, with a name like "The Renaissance" how could she not think that? Dragging her feet around her apartment she got dressed with lack of excitement and enthusiasm; The story hadn't exactly been her number one pick. An up and coming travel magazine was doing an article on the hotel and they had wanted her to get in and take some pictures to feature within the piece. Why they were so interested in this hotel though was beyond her, that was until she arrived. "An Urban Adventure" the headlines would read. Aimee lifted her sunglasses and quirked her brows as she got her first glimpse of the hotel . "Holy crap." She muttered under her breath as she got out of her little car. The hotel was amazing even from her view of the outside. The design was very forward, quite the opposite of what she had been expecting. She had accepted the job with the mindset of Old Hollywood and this was the last thing she had been expecting. Now, hours later, Aimee was still wandering around the hotel in complete awe of the designs, the architecture, and the little details that seemed to complete the hotel. It all fit so seamlessly into one specific image that the hotel was trying to project: Cool. Chic. Modern. Those were the words that came to mind as Aimee continued to explore. She paused as she stumbled upon a hallway with colorful glass murals on one side of the hall and guest room doors on the other. Taking out her camera, Aimee began to snap away at the hall trying her best to compensate for the lack of natural lighting that was currently absent from the hallway. Annoyed with how dark her pictures were turning out when she viewed them in the view finder, she looked around to see if maybe there was a window anywhere near. Much to her dismay there was not and her attempts to try and get anymore shots were futile. Though the hotel was lovely, some of the most magical parts of it were just too dark for her to properly capture it's beauty. Moving on, Aimee continued on her adventure down the hall until she came to two double doors. They were small wooden doors with handles right next to each other. Looking over her should to make sure no one was currently around (she didn't like to be watched when working), Aimee took hold of the wooden doors and pushed them open. Before her lay a giant conference room, bigger than the closed doors had portrayed (just another style of the hotel's) and with the most stunning view of Long Beach. Upon entering, Aimee noticed the same strange and cool styled furniture that she had seen in the lobby. What had captured and held her interest the longest though was that two of the four walls were made completely of glass giving way to a breath taking view of the beach. Aimee could now fully understand why the magazine had wanted to do a piece on the hotel. She slung her camera over her shoulder and advanced into the room towards the windows. It was absolutely gorgeous out with big grey billowing clouds and hints of an oncoming storm on the horizon, which would make her pictures even better . She approached the windows and placed a hand on the glass before quickly realizing she would leave finger prints and quickly retracted her hands. Hopefully she wouldn't be getting in trouble for coming in here. They had said she could have the run of the place tolook around, even giving her a key to get into certain 'guest only' areas such as the pool and spa.

the number one princess in the world you should know by now how to please me, okay? Leon had, for the most part, taken the architecture of the hotel he was staying in for granted. It was more or less not something he was interested in, seeing as he looked at it everyday. Not to say it wasn't beautiful - he thought it plenty beautiful. But perhaps this was the reason he had dropped out of college in pursuit of photography - he just didn't take pictures of things that simply did not interest him. Okay well he had a salvageable grade but he was so utterly bored of what he was doing that he just quit.
Plus it was really hard, and Leon didn't like things that were really hard. After all, wasn't he successful now even without college? This was a mighty fine way of living life, anyways. He took pictures of things he wanted to take pictures of (he sometimes sells them to fans, pictures of his band, but he always has a copy left over because the best sellers are the funniest ones he wanted to keep for memory's sake), and he designed their website, and he got to have fun.
Okay so. He hadn't woken up early. But he wouldn't say that ten in the morning was very late, either. It was a Monday, but honestly days of the week didn't matter when it came to his vacation time. He slept in, and he slept in well. Sleeping until ten wasn't really sleeping in for him, far from it. It was something akin to getting up in the dead of night, but for some reason Leon could not go back to sleep. Maybe it had something to do with the sunlight streaming into the master bedroom, and the lack of Theo in his bed with him. His stupid brother probably left him again, but it's not his fault that he was a kicker!
He had half the mind to do something productive today. But half of his mind also said no, screw it, it was a Monday and Mondays were made to be lazy on. So he chose the latter. Leon would be lazy today. And his definition of lazy was styling his hair for less than an hour in an easy to do hairstyle. And he slung his camera onto his shoulder. It had been a while since he'd had his camera with him, so he decided his lazy Monday was going to be a lazy day wandering around places taking pictures of whatever he saw fit.
Maybe something scenic. But first he snapped a picture of himself in the mirror and wondered just how much that would sell for some really crazy fans out there. He needed to make money somehow and he was raking in the money while his mates were on vacation with him. And then he took the elevator down from his penthouse with the intention of leaving the hotel and looking for things to take pictures of. Well, Leon didn't get far. Somehow he'd ended up getting lost and infinitely distracted within the hotel. He hadn't quite noticed how big the hotel was (then again his time spent on the hotel was on the very top floor) until now and he kind of wanted to explore.
He took a few more pictures, but he wasn't really that into it. It was just that fancy design, or something that caught his eye he just simply snapped a picture of it. But Leon found himself wandering and wandering and then wondering if he was supposed to be here or if this was some forbidden area he wasn't supposed to be in. Because he found himself in a lot of those situations now.
And then he saw it. Someone else with a camera. Someone else taking pictures. A potential new friend. Yes, this was good, he hadn't seen many photographers here in LA, or at least, Leon hadn't been paying attention. He hadn't exactly been here for the longest time, then again. "Hey! Are you taking pictures here too?" He wouldn't really say he was taking pictures here, but then he saw it. Something else - not the person, but the view. "Sugoi~! That's really pretty!"

Aimee gazed out the window into the clouds and allowed herself to be transported to a different time and place far away from where she currently was. What were her mother and sisters doing right now? She had never been this far away from them ever in her life and now here she was 16 hours away not able to just pop into her car and head over for a long weekend. Aimee allowed memories to flood her mind while she stared out the window as she watched the clouds slowly roll in and one by one the beach-goers started to leave the beach.
Why would they leave? The beach is beautiful like this, especially when it turns overcast and grey.
Aimee shifted and looked down to her watch. How long had she been standing there? She should probably wrap up here, as she would love not to walk back to her car in the rain and risk soaking her equipment. That would be a big no-no.
"Hey! Are you taking pictures here too?"
Aimee whirled around startled at the voice behind her. Was she in trouble for being here? Was she going to get kicked out and have all of her pictures erased? She’d get fired and have a bad reputation. She couldn’t afford that. Aimee had a habit of fearing the worst sometimes when she was caught doing something she wasn’t sure she was allowed to do. When she finally registered who was before her, she began to relax. A rather odd looking man was before her with black hair (or was it blue?) whom stood at about the same height as her. Compared to him though, Aimee felt incredibly underdressed for this hotel and she was just now noticing it. Her hair tied back into a ponytail with a simple ribbon was paired with simple black pants and a white collared dress shirt. The point was she was lacking in color and interestingness whereas the man before her sure wasn’t. ”Yes…” She started hesitantly. Who was this guy anyway? When he noticed the view and seemingly lost interest in her, she turned around again to look out the window. ”Isn’t it?” She asked excitedly. ”It’s perfect! I would love, love, love to go outside to the beach after and capture something. I don’t know what but something! It’s just not something that can be passed up.” She rambled on excitedly. When she realized she was rambling and rambling excitedly about clouds no less, she shut up. She was beginning to understand why she didn’t have friends. She was an odd duckling, always have been, especially when it came to photography. She got excited over the simplest things.
Noticing his camera for the first time, Aimee tried to catch a glimpse at which he was using and what lens was attached. ”What’s your style?” She asked wondering if he was a hobbyist or on a job like she was.

the number one princess in the world you should know by now how to please me, okay? Leon was, for the most part, partook ion He enjoyed taking pictures. He liked doing it when he wasn't being forced to do it. And for the most part, his life was really good and his pictures were really good - really valuable. Honestly, he took pictures of what he felt looked pretty or was aesthetically pleasing to his eye, not another person's. But that also meant he questioned other people's taste when they weren't exactly like his. Like this girl over here - she was taking pictures of the hotel and he couldn't fathom a reason why.
Especially as she kept going on about the clouds and the beach and the scene that he had admired. She seemed so very excited about it - Leon hadn't found someone to share his enthusiasm with, so this was new. Very new, and very nice. Someone who got just as excited as he did when it came to things like this. He decided, he liked her. He liked her a lot. New best friend - one that wouldn't ditch him, right? Of course, it'll probably really nice to know her name first before he tried to get to know her better. Common decency, was it?
"It's Leon, my name. In case you were wondering." She definitely seemed interested in him. Not in that way, no, it was more like an interest in his camera. And his style. As if her saying so didn't hint at it at all, not way. "Hmmm... hard to say, I can't really just put it in one category, can I? I'd do injustice to my work. I take picture of what I like and take pictures sort of as a side job, though that's usually always a little bit entertaining if not a lot." He looked thoughtfully at his camera, then back at the girl. "Here to admire the scenery from this window? We could always go higher, see it better. Or outside. Though I do suppose it is beautiful as is."
Now here was when Leon was trying to look thoughtfully out of the window - but when was Leon ever thoughtful? Well, it was supposed that he was thinking, only that his thinking didn't compose of lighting and photography and trying to capture that perfect picture. It was a hobby, and honestly only that. He had studied it briefly - briefly being a key word. "What's a photographer doing at the Renaissance, anyways? It's not the scenery, there's a lot better places around the area to take pictures."

May 21st 11:00AM
"It's Leon, my name. In case you were wondering." Aimee blinked twice before realizing he had just introduced himself. What? Oh! “My name is Aimee!” She said with an embarrassed smile as she took a step forward to offer her hand to shake. Aimee wondered why she hadn’t asked that to begin with or introduced herself? Social etiquette was obviously not her forte as evident by her lack of introduction. She had just gone straight for the equipment without even a care in the world as to whom she was talking to. She really needed to work on that. She made a mental note at the back of her mind and listened to describe his ‘style’. Aimee tried her hardest not to quirk her brows in confusion. This was something new to her, she had never considered having multiple styles. Huh.
”That very neat!” She said finally deciding she liked this guy. He had a camera after all, what wasn’t there to like? Aimee sighed enviously. He got to take pictures of what he liked? How she dreamed of getting to that point one day, for now she was stuck taking pictures that other people liked. ”Oh wow I’m jealous.” She said curious. She had to be honest; he didn’t really look like the photography type. He looked too…flakey. She didn’t mean that in a bad way she just thought he looked the type to get bored quickly of something and move on soon after. Aimee instantly felt bad for thinking such things and tried to turn her mind to other things.
”It can be entertaining.” She agreed smiling thinking of the family portraits she takes on the sides and how crazy those sessions can get. ”It can indeed.” Why was she so smiley? She hadn’t smiled like this in awhile, certainly not since the last time she saw her family and that had been before she moved here to Los Angeles. Perhaps it was at the prospects of meeting someone who appreciated photography as much as her. That could definitely be one of the reasons.
At this offer to go outside or upstairs she looked out towards the window. Naturally she wanted to go outside but first she would have to wrap her camera in plastic wrap and hope it didn’t get wet from the oncoming storm. She’d also have to finish up her assignment within the hotel. That was why she was here after all.
”Outside.” She said excitedly. She really was excited and slightly disappointed she had a concept forming in her mind and these clouds would have been perfect. He would have been perfect for the picture. His odd and yet whimsical appearance would have been perfect. If anything she would get some good stock photos of clouds and that was always a win in her book.
At his question, Aimee turned back to him, her back now fully to the glass wall. ”Oh I’m here on assignment. A travel magazine wants to run a piece on the hotel. It’s intriguing, don’t you think?” She asked looking around. ”All of the odd angles, the colors, the unique almost futuristic feel.” She said looking around the room as if to prove her point. ”I could say the same thing about you though, hmm?” She asked directing her eye contact back to his camera and finally settling on his face. ”You’re here. I’m assuming not for the scenery of the hotel, though it is quite beautiful. Unique even.” She added.Aimee was very curious about the man before her. He was like the hotel in a way…they were unique, colorful and odd; a wonderful kind of odd that sparked curiosity in the simple bystander. What was his story? Aimee being incredibly shy, almost too shy didn’t dare ask. That was personal information and she wasn’t going to just ask to hear his background. Perhaps if it had to do with photography he would share because that’s what they both have in common but surely there was more to him than just that.

the number one princess in the world you should know by now how to please me, okay? Aimee was right, she was. Leon was sort of a flaky guy. No, she was more like right on the dot with his character analysis - he was the type to get bored of things easily and abandon his projects soon after. Photography was just one of those things that didn't happen to follow through with his mentality. It was, more or less, something he just kept coming back to, over and over and over again until he simply couldn't live without it. Just don't mention how many times he had gotten bored of a game, or a tv series, and just refused to watch any more.
"Pleasure to meet you, Ms. Aimee." Leon took her hand and shook it before continuing the conversation. "It's not something to be jealous of, really. I rarely get a chance to take pictures for myself anymore. I mean, I get a lot of money taking pictures of other people. Granted, I don't get their consent but it sells well. But I've been working on taking up this hobby again." Life's story, poured out to this girl who had no idea who he was and could very well be a complete stranger. But the two of them had cameras so that was automatic points in his book.
But lingering on that point of conversation would do nothing for him, and so Leon kept up the fast paced, ever changing conversation, which bounced back to the scenery. "Outside, huh?" He had just mentioned that as sort of a passing thought. He didn't particularly want to go outside. Much as it was beautiful, he was beautiful as well, and he would loathe to get his hair wet from the storm. And his camera, as well. Leon didn't say anything and just offered her a smile. Though the meaning behind it was just a little bit cryptic, if anything.
The architecture. For a job. Sounded like a boring job, although Leon could say that it was a better job than a lot of other jobs out there. And for her, it seemed as though she liked photography, so this wasn't exactly a bad job for her either. The way she chattered on about it as though it were something absolutely fascinating (it might've been to her but Leon just didn't see the appeal - well, he got the reasoning but it just didn't appeal to him) made it seem like she was super enthusiastic about it. Though the eventual question came to him and he was only happy to shift the conversation back to talking all about him.
"Well, I just woke up. I didn't find it particularly a smart idea to go outside, so I just stayed in the hotel. You could say it's just a lazy day for me." Lazy day... everyday was a lazy day for him compared to going to concerts and shows and promotions back in Japan. Sure he tried to action pack the vacation with fun fun fun, but there was just some downtown like now that he was always trying to find something to do in. "Why, curious about me?"
Call him self-absorbed, but he loved talked about himself. It was just, well, he didn't fancy having crazed fans knowing where he was when he was supposed to be getting a break. He was in LA to get away with his other band mates. Much as he absolutely loved the attention he got, there was only so much he could take, right? And even now, people knew. If the fact he had to get a bodyguard for his little trip to Disney was any indication. "I guess you could just say I'm here because there's nowhere else for me to go right now. The camera's an accessory just in case I get bored. I did get bored a bit... I guess..."
__________ jfc i just noticed all my typos in the last post and my derp at the beginning, sorry 'bout that.

Aimee couldn't help arch a brow at his first statement. He got paid lots of money to take pictures and yet he had no style? Aimee found this odd but kept that to herself. Who was this guy anyway? She made it a point now to study him a little bit more closely and as she did she noticed that he was exactly who she had noticed when he first walked in. He still had the DSLR hanging around his neck, the brightly colored hair and clothing, and the same excited facial expression. Perhaps Aimee just wasn't a people person…scratch that, Aimee knew for a fact she wasn't a people person. Then he mentioned the word she'd been looking for. Hobby. This was just a hobby for him. Not a life career. Aaaaah. It made so much more sense now. He looked way to expensive to be living off a photographer's salary anyway. Who was she going to judge though? A lover of photography was just that, a lover of photography and he was at least giving it a shot. More than most people could say. She suddenly decided she liked him. He was quirky and odd but in a different way than she was used to. "It's relaxing." She said. "But expensive. A very expensive hobby if you get too deep into it." She smiled. Aimee didn't even bother bring up going outside again. She didn't have to be a mind reader to know he wasn't keen on going outside. Perhaps she was just an odd duck. She loved the rain though and somehow it made her think of her dad and his way of trying to make it known he was watching over her. As ridiculous as it sounds Aimee interpreted the happenings in her life that way. She had always had a nagging sense if something went right, that her dad somehow was responsible for it. Perhaps it was wishful thinking that her dad was still out there somewhere looking out for her and her family. She grew silent for a moment as they both pondered their own thoughts. When he spoke she looked up listening to him talk about lazy days. Lazy? It was a Monday, why would he be lazy on a Monday? Was he on vacation or something? Aimee once again didn't verbalize her thoughts but instead just stayed rooted to her spot in silence. Why curious about me? "Oh! I just can be that way sometimes I guess. She shrugged. Aimee wasn't a particularly nosy person, perhaps the industry she has been working in for the last couple on months has rubbed off on her a bit in some ways. Whatever the cause, it certainly is new for her. Well that sounded depressing. No where for him to go? Aimee wasn't sure what exactly to say to that. What was there to say? Had he been kicked out? Was he on the run? Aimee's imagination took off with ideas on why he was alone. Regardless though, he was alone and she knew tons about being alone. She knew more than she wanted to know. "Well there are plenty of things to do around Los Angeles I've heard. I'm new to the area as well…well fairly new. THe pier, the beaches, the aquariums, take a drive down to San Diego and La Jolla. Very beautiful." She murmured. Feeling like she was rambling, she shut up quite quickly after that. "I'm probably wasting your time. I'm so sorry." She said shifting her camera. "I'll err…let you get back to what you were doing. I enjoyed our chat very much though." She said awkwardly turning to catch one last glimpse of the view from the windows. __________ I am so sorry this took forever! >< Finals are finally done now though so everything should be back to normal. Again, I apologize for the wait.

the number one princess in the world you should know by now how to please me, okay? "Expensive, yes. Though I guess money isn't really much of a problem for me." Leon was boasting. He was trying not to - he had tried to throw it in all nonchalant like and not rub money in people's faces. Even if those words were a bit insensitive. Leon was prideful, vain, and bratty, but the last thing he ever wanted to do was be mean or look down on a person. Well, unless he had reason to be mean. He liked to think of himself as a decent person, anyway. "I just really like to take pictures. My mates have designated me to be their picture taker. I don't mind, since that is a source of income for us."
Was that... was that too much information? Nah, nah. It wasn't like it was a secret. She could draw her own conclusions, although Leon wasn't going to hand feed it to her - he was just going to give her little informational tidbits here and there. If she was interested in that, that is. She did want to know more about him, so the impression went, and Leon was only happy to appease her (she didn't really give off the vibe though, that was only Leon jumping to conclusions and getting way too ahead of himself).
"I don't mind if you're curious!" He really, honestly, truly didn't mind. Not at all. "Ask away! Really. If anything, I like things like this. It's like playing twenty questions with a stranger." And he liked talking about himself - his vanity speaking there. Not that he could really help it. He just liked... talking about himself. Was that so bad?
He liked that she was helping. About his nothing to do day. To be honest he was supposed to be relaxing and all. And to be honest, he was trying to exhaust himself with fun. He'd seen a fair amount of attractions in the area, the aquarium and the mall, even Disneyland. He had yet to go to the beach though, despite being so close to it. Ah, well, he supposed it could wait for another time, he wasn't exactly impatient on going there or anything.
"No, you're not wasting my time at all." Why on earth would she think that? Hopefully he hadn't given her that impression, that couldn't be farther from the truth. "Actually, I was pretty bored until you came along. I mean, do you really have to go? I'd love to spent more time with you, actually. If you're up for it, of course." __________ it's really short compared to yours but like leon's bad at inner musing.

At Leon's words, Aimee decided that she liked him immensely. He was everything she wasn't. He wasn't afraid to be who he was and flaunted his attributes. Was this the possibility of a new friend? Aimee would like to have friends or at least someone she could talk photography with for awhile. It would be nice. While she did expect to make friends eventually she hadn't imagined it happen this soon after moving into the city. Maybe she was becoming less of an awkward turtle and more of a social butterfly! This pleased Aimee, this pleased her greatly. She smiled and nodded in understanding. She knew a wee bit about taking pictures for a living, though stressful as it was, it was a fun job. "Well they're lucky to have you then. Not many people brave the employment world for photography." She informed nodding. He didn't mind her being curious? Well good. She had the tendency to be nosy sometimes. It wasn't a particularly good habit to indulge in but she couldn't help it. She was quiet and shy. It wasn't her fault if she went unnoticed as two people carried on a conversation as if she wasn't there or if someone took a call without actually acknowledging she was there and would be hearing every word. Aimee supposed this time it was actually her fault as she was the one who engaged, but he didn't seem to mind and she felt comfortable around him. That had to be a good sign. She wasn't bother him? Really? She smiled at this and looked around. "I heard there was a famous Japanese band staying in this hotel. We could always try and find them." She offered a wicked grin spreading on her face now. "I don't know much about them, something my boss mentioned in passing. Apparently his kids are bat-shit crazy for them." She laughed naive as ever. As she let him consider this as something to do, she began to think about her first question she would ask him. She hadn't forgotten his comment about 20 questions and wanted to play. For some reason she couldn't come up with any kind of cool questions and the only one her mind seemed to want to ask was what his favorite color was. How lame and generic was that? Though generic, it was valid because of the multitude of colors he was wearing.

the number one princess in the world you should know by now how to please me, okay? Ah, well, that wasn't right. His employment didn't involve photography - not his main one, anyways. So she was technically right, but technically wrong as well. Not that Leon was going to correct her. But the sense of achievement that he was very well needed in the band if only for picture taking was a nice acknowledgement. He liked photography - but what he liked more than that was taking pictures of potentially awkward and laughable situations with his brothers and friends. It was just like creating memories - although memories for sale, too. "I guess not, I mean there are some people who are pretty successful, actually..." Like those people in those magazines that took pictures of the band in their high tech camera and lighting and stuff. During photo shoots.
Oh. Oh dear. Now that was not good. Leon hadn't really planned on giving up his cover so soon, but there was no helping it. But the way she said it, it was as though Aimee had no idea that he was part of the band. Well, he looked Japanese, and he was rich, and he had dropped hints along the way, but eh. Why not just wait until she figured it out on her own, and have some fun along the way? After all, he would love to go 'incognito' on his brother and surprise serenade him and pretend to be paparazzi until Theo noticed that it was him. Ah, the idealization of it was just perfect for him, that sounded so fun.
And them maybe he'd tell Aimee. Maybe. If she didn't figure it out herself first. She seemed perceptive enough for it. "That sounds like a great idea." Leon could not, for the life of himself, fight the mischievous smirk spreading across his features right now. "Can we do it now?" He didn't mind waiting, but the prizeeee, the things they could dooo.
Though, he had said that he was staying at the hotel, didn't he? "I've seen them around. No reason we wouldn't run into one of the members by surprise, I don't think." If you could recognize them - which Aimee didn't seem to right now. Really the only thing that peeved him was that she didn't know of them, Leon loved being known. But that was just him speaking, this was probably a good thing after all.

Aimee considered his words but chose not to retort. There were people who've become very successful in the photography world, she wholeheartedly agreed with that but while there were some, most were not that successful and even she felt inadequate when seeing those successful artists and their pieces. She knew better than to compare herself but it was just human nature, survival of the fittest, and all of that jazz as to why she did. It wasn't helping her and for the most part she'd learn to channel that inadequacy into inspiration but every now and again she'd see something beautiful and wonder why she couldn't do just that: create something so beautiful that it made other's stop and feel inspired. Pushing thoughts of inadequacy out of her head, Aimee turned to Leon and smiled. A hunt for celebrities! Something she'd never done before, well at least not while she was on another assignment. "Of course we can do it now! I insist!" She said excitedly. Aimee allowed herself a few moments to calm down and try not to act so weird and excited. Where should we look first?" She asked looking around the room. They obviously weren't in here and possibly not even in the hotel but she figured she'd at least give it a try. Maybe she could get them to sign a bar napkin or something for her boss's daughters. Seeing them around? Well crap, she didn't even know what they looked like. Surely we will recognize them by the amount of people staring or getting excited. They're celebrities right? Cameras and excitement follow them wherever they go?" Aimee suggested quite possibly naive as ever. Here she was talking about a life of a celebrity to a freaking celebrity. Only Aimee would be so naive and trusting of a random stranger. It was quite obvious that she had no idea just exactly whom she was speaking to. "I don't know if I could ever have that life.." She mused as she hitched her camera bag over her shoulder and started slowly walking towards the door. She threw one last look behind her at the beautiful windows before looking to Leon to see if he would follow. "It just seems like they have no privacy you know?" She questioned thoughtfully. That wasn't a life Aimee wanted or wanted to deal with. She enjoyed her quiet non-popular little life she lived.

the number one princess in the world you should know by now how to please me, okay? Perhaps Leon underestimated his fame a little bit too much. Well, this had to be one of those rare, rare times. Because he just didn't seem to grasp the concept of no privacy because of fame. Heck, he was out here and he wasn't being mobbed by the media journalists - the only one who would come close was Aimee and she didn't seem to even know who he was. There were also times he overestimated his fame as well (such as that when he was always so downcast when no one recognized who he was, even when he told them!).
He really hadn't a clue where his other mates were, aside from the penthouse they stayed in. Which, no, Leon was not stupid enough to just invite her in just like that. "They might just be hanging about." Leon had no idea what their plans were for the day. He only knew that his plan for the day was hang around the hotel. Maybe Leon had been a bit careless, but the media craze seemed to have died down since his Disneyland trip with Moose. At least the band could get some peace of mind inside of the hotel.
The hotel probably kicked out anyone who tried anyways. Leon had been for the past week able to enjoy his vacation at ease by actually doing vacationy things (he couldn't say the same for the others, it was their fault they refused to join him on his quest). "I'm not so sure about that. I doubt the hotel would allow that, anyways. Plus... they're on vacation, aren't they?" Boy did Leon hate people who interfered with his fun sometimes. But this time it wasn't so bad. "If they hung around the hotel, you'd think that they would at least ensure some privacy, right?"
He wasn't sure how much more private it could get from renting the whole top floor, though. But Leon was following excitedly on this adventure. It would give him cause to explore the hotel under the guise of looking for the band, plus he would practice being sneaky! Well... not exactly, but this was a new friend and he was determined to have a little fun in the process. "The rich and famous life isn't all that bad, I don't think." Then again, Leon went crazy if no attention was on him at all. Which was why he loved his fans and the attention they brought onto him. "But they're probably used to it, you know?"
Yes, Leon was most definitely used to it. "Well, if you're gonna move at such a snail's pace, we'll never find them." They most certainly were not here, they best get somewhere with more people. "We're looking for someone with crazy hair... that's the lead." Leon knew what hair Theo dyed it but that was supposed to be a mystery. "And then there's the really cute childish one. And then there's the really amazing keyboardist! And there's also that other one no one ever remembers and he's all serious." It didn't seem like she knew a lot about Sound Fuse. Now his descriptions were half jokes, well full jokes. "Though to be serious, only seem them around a couple of times."
Then on their trek, Leon suddenly grabbed her and pulled her in a fast paced high speed chase. "I think I found one! Follow me!" He actually didn't but... no big deal, they were probably just being lazy butts watching TV or something up there.

As Leon grabbed her hand and pulled her behind him, she hoped to all God that she wasn't going to trip. Aimee wasn't exactly the most coordinated and she had the bruises to show for it whenever she attempted any kind of physical activity. As he dragged her along she considered the press and the legal rights they had as normal citizens of the country. Surly the hotel couldn't kick them off the sidewalks, those were after all public domain. From within the hotel if they were being disruptive they could definitely get kicked out but off the sidewalks? She doubted it and even if that were the case they'd just move across the street and wait from the band from there. "But if they're just waiting outside that means the band would have to either deal with it and just suck up all of the press or hide in the hotel. That doesn't sound like a fun way to spend time in California, all cooped up like that, it would drive anyone a bit bonkers." She mused out loud as she grew short of breath. Aimee was still convinced she was glad she wasn't famous. That particular lifestyle, while good for others, was just not the lifestyle for her. She shrugged and agreed with his statement. They probably were used to it at this point. "Do you know how long they've been around? I supposed they're more famous in Japan, I believe that is where the girls said they were from." She said as they neared an elevator and slowed down. When she saw no one in the hall she let go of his hand and shook her head. "I don't think you saw one…there is no one here… She observe mildly disappointed. He had described them to her and they sounded like a crazy bunch. "How do you know so much about them anyway?" She asked as she pushed the up button. She found it slightly odd, then again maybe he was a super fan and she was putting the peace and quiet at risk that the band looked so hard for by looking for them with this mega fan. That or he could be paparazzi too. That couldn't be right though…he said he did photography for a hobby. As Aimee pushed this all to the back of her mind, another thought occurred to her. "I wonder if I can get up the penthouse with my key…" She mused pulling it out. They had said she could get into anywhere so she could get the shots she needed and she literally had no idea who the band was. She was a freelance photographer for God's sake, they had no reason to believe she would even go looking for them so the concierge might have overlooked the fact that they gave her access to literally everywhere. Then again she could be totally wrong and not have access at all. It was a 50/50 chance at this point. "I totally wouldn't mind snooping either…" She smiled now the same mischievous smile. A little adrenaline rush every now and again was always fun, and this, (assuming they didn't get caught) would be well worth it. Especially if she could get something for her bosses daughters (a signature on something once they actually found the band, she wasn't planning on actually stealing anything from them). Decisions, decisions, decisions.

the number one princess in the world you should know by now how to please me, okay? Leon was panting now, his over excitement getting to the best of him (and probably Aimee too, he's dragged her way out of the way). "I guess... I was just seeing things, huh?" He feigned disappointment - then again, would he really count it as feigning if he really was kind of disappointed? Because it would have been fun to scare one of his fellow members. Though, with the time they spent with him, they really couldn't be all that surprised with that antic. "Darn, and I really thought I saw one too!"
He couldn't really give away all his secrets now, not when things were getting so exciting! "I... I don't know. I've only been staying here for about a month now." An... extended vacation, if she should ask. He wanted the full LA experience, and one month was not enough to fully experience the city as it was. Or so, that was what he would tell her. Which was half true, by the way. "I guess they would be more popular over there, if they're a Japanese band. Not a lot of people would recognize them if they haven't hide worldwide publicity. Hey, maybe that's the answer to the paparazzi problem, or lack of. They're just not popular enough here. I mean, did you see any of them when you came in?" Much as Leon hated to make himself seem less important...
"As for my knowledge? Well, I am Japanese... and I'm quite a fan." And he'd like to think that was common knowledge, at least. "Oh, I forgot the other one! The one who's gender is a secret. I mean, I think they're a boy but who knows?" He hadn't really forgotten, though. How could he? When he saw her everyday and Theo always disappeared from their shared bed to her room (well, it wasn't really like that, it was more like Theo ran away from Leon always kicking him and Leon was always forever grateful for extra bed room).
"Woah, you have a key?!" Maybe... maybe that was going a bit far. How did she manage to get a key?! "I mean, they gave you a key to other people's rooms? Talk about creepy..." But he was a little bit alarmed at that. But... surely it was alright, right? There was no way the hotel was stupid enough to do that, especially when the whole top floor was reserved for them... and it was basically invasion of privacy. "But let's try it anyways."
Leon was genuinely worried though. If she had access that meant... bad things. And Leon wasn't sure if his heart was ready for bad things. She was here to take photos of this place. And the top floor was, well, the top floor and had a very very nice view. Though, hopefully it wasn't the case. If things got bad he'd call security, but he really doubt the hotel would do that. Especially when it had a reputation to keep up with. "Okay. Let's do it! Though I've got an important call to make first."
Though he pulled out his cell and called up Hiro, just in case. "Hiro-san, are you in the penthouse?" Of course, in Japanese. "I found a friend! Says she has a key that might take us up. Okay okay I know, but it'll be fine as long as you're not there." He nodded despite the fact that he couldn't see him. "Yeah yeah, I know it's a bad idea, but I don't want her to know I'm part of the band." Not yet, at least. "Fine, I'll see what I can do to keep her out." Grumble. Feign cold feet right at the end, maybe?
"Sorry... business calls. But I'm good now!" Switching back to English. He returned her mischievous smile. Well, he guessed it was fun, in a way.

A month!? In a hotel? This hotel?! He must have money, that had to be it. Probably family money and he’s traveling. Aimee decided she wouldn’t dwell or snoop because that was being absolutely too nosy. The thought was almost ironic to Aimee as she looked around and thought about what they were doing. Her luck wasn’t that great. As for the lack of press, Leon did have a point. She hadn’t noticed any; then again she hadn’t exactly been looking. She had been so captivated by the hotel and it’s uniqueness that she could have walked smack into the band and right through their group and wouldn’t have been any the wiser to it. ”Well no…I suppose I didn’t see any.” She shrugged. ”Then again I wasn’t really looking either. I came here with a specific purpose, to see the hotel. That’s why they gave me this key.”At his suggestion that she could get into rooms she paled significantly. ”Of course not! I can’t get into rooms! At least I don’t think so. I was given the key to get into the areas reserved for only guests. That’s how I got into that conference room!” Amy explained quickly shaking her head. ”I would never go in anyone’s room, at least not a room that was occupied. They took me into some rooms earlier but no one was staying in them. And might I add they looked very nice. You are lucky to be able to stay here for a month.” She added enviously. Aimee thought about living in the hotel for a month and sighed. What a life that would be! A life wasted on her…she was never at her apartment to begin with, she would never spend time at the hotel if she were to live here for a month so what would be the point for her? There wouldn’t be. ”I just figured I might be able to get up since I have yet to take pictures of the penthouse and well that is kind of an important part of the hotel. I’m sure they wouldn’t actually just let me go up myself. They’ll probably take me up when the band is out doing something and it’s been cleaned. Pictures.” She reminded him touching her camera gently. Aimee was mortified that he potentially thought she just crept into other people’s rooms as she felt like it. That was creepy and she certainly did not do that. When he agreed to try it anyway she couldn’t help but falter in her step towards the elevator to re-push the button (Aimee could be very impatient when she wanted to be). He wanted to try it? Aimee wasn’t so sure she did after thinking about it more but she wouldn’t want him to think that. In the excitement she had gotten caught up in all of the action but now as they waited for an elevator she wasn’t so sure. When he announced he had to make a call, she nodded acknowledging him and went back to her thoughts. Would she really do this? Aimee bit her lip and considered her options: Go back without any fun stories to tell and with her plain old pictures, or go back with an adrenaline rush that will last her at least two weeks. While Aimee could be a weenie as her sisters would often call her, she had her moments of bravery too. As Leon returned from his ‘work call’ Aimee looked up to see him matching her smile. “Lets do it. Plus I want to get pictures of the band. In a none creepy way…” She added quickly for good measure. Right? Plus what if this led to an even bigger assignment in the future? This could make her!...or destroy her if they got caught for trespassing and kicked out of the hotel with all of her pictures erased. Well then she’d just be screwed. The elevator binged loudly announcing it’s arrival. Biting her lip once more Aimee waited for Leon to step in, she wasn’t about to be the first to go; she really was a weenie sometimes.

the number one princess in the world you should know by now how to please me, okay? Leon was a little comforted by the fact that no, Aimee did not go to random rooms. He was also more comforted by the fact that she wasn't able to enter rooms - so it should be fine. Logically that meant that there was no way that the key would work... right? But even as he was comforting himself with these doubts, there was still that chance, and that chance was what was really freaking him out now. After all, the penthouse was technically a room in which they lived in. "I think maybe they gave you one of those keys where they check you into an unbooked room so you could access all the facilities guests can?"
It was just a guest, but Hiro did tell him to keep her from trying to get in. And of course, him being himself, he couldn't just pretend he wasn't interested anymore. Leon wasn't much of an actor (actually... he had never acted before), but this was fun as it was so far, pretending to be who he wasn't! It was a little weird, but at the same time he attempted to don a Japanese.... erh, businessman? No, not right, more just like someone rich who could afford this hotel and traveling. It was a bit odd that the place he had inhibited for a month now was, well, being opened up for pictures when there was no one there. It still felt like a privacy thing, but maybe that was just him.
But already she was hesitating, for some odd reason. Maybe it would be easier to convince her not to do after all? But... but he didn't want to be the one who got cold feet. So he went into the elevator. "I understand completely! Although... maybe it would be best if we asked first, or else they'll think we're one of those." Well, when other people took pictures of them, he couldn't help but think that they were sometimes taking his job, the one where he took pictures and sold them.
Though those were usually exclusive. "Coming? You're the one with the key, after all, I don't think my own would open up that door." Though a brilliant (okay maybe not so brilliant but rather normal) thought came to mind. "If you don't want to do it, we can always look for them at another place."

Aimee's eyes widened at his guess of what happened. "Oh I believe that is what happened." She said. "But I also get access to the kitchens and whatnot. Part of the job I guess." She shrugged. "It's not like I'm a nutter…" She trailed off shaking her head. Well, she wasn't…she was just doing her job. It hadn't even occurred to Aimee till now that it would potentially alarm the guests. Aimee followed him into the elevator and thought about his suggestion. Ask? She would not only be told no, she'd probably get kicked out. They'd think she was just the paparazzi and she'd really be screwed. They wouldn't allow her to finish her job and she'd come up short when time to give her pictures to the travel magazine. "I highly doubt they even gave me access. Watch." She said simply taking out her key and sliding it into the key reader and pushing the button that had a giant PH stamped on it. When the reader flashed an angry red Aimee shrugged. "I didn't think it would. I was really banking on the fact that perhaps the hotel made a mistake when granting me access to various facilities. How much fun would that have been though?" She asked. Aimee couldn't help but feel almost secretly grateful that it hadn't worked. If it had worked she would have had to go through with the plan and then she'd have realized she really was a weenie. That and her new friend would have witnessed it too. She really in all actuality dodged a small bullet with that one. With that whole situation out of the way, Aimee could go back to focusing on exploring the hotel with her friend (legally) and possibly seeing a Japanese band while at it. "Where to next?" She asked letting him decide where to go. He probably knew this hotel better than she did, he was after all staying here.

the number one princess in the world you should know by now how to please me, okay? A moment of trepidation passed through him as Leon watched her slide the key in and - oh. He swore he had held his breath and exhaled loudly in relief as it didn't work. Thank god. Thank goodness. Thank the heavens. Thank everything. It wasn't even something to get all dramatic about, anyways. Not all would have been lost if she had been able to get in, Aimee probably would have just been kicked out and the rouse would be up and he'd have to reveal himself.
Which he had been planning to do anyways. Leon was actually a little surprised he hadn't gotten told off by Hiro for even letting this happen in the first place. Though Leon did feel like this would be coming to an end soon and he'd have to tell her because leaving her believing a lie was probably not the best thing he'd have ever done. "It would have been fun... until we got arrested, that is."
He was joking, of course, he was pretty sure they would get arrested over that. Just a little hotel oversight problem. Not a big deal, not really, because Leon had technically pressured (was that really a good word for it because she had suggested it and she had done it of her own accord, but he had encouraged, at the very least) her to do it.
"Where to next, indeed." Leon had to think about it, but he didn't really want to stay on the top floor anyways. It was reserved for them anyways but they wouldn't find anything in the areas they could access, so he just headed back to the elevator and urged Aimee to follow. "Hmm, well I doubt they'd be wandering around random hallways of floors with only rooms. So I guess one of the facilities? You're taking pictures of the hotel attractions, right? It'll be like hitting two birds with one stone if we do that."

Arrested? Aimee seriously doubted they would have gotten arrested but she didn't say anything. In a ton of trouble, most likely, but surely the band wouldn't have had them arrested? Aimee didn't ponder as she didn't really want to consider the idea of getting arrested. She'd seen the latest episodes of Orange is the New Black, she had a very loose sense of what went on in women's jail and she didn't want to even consider the possibility of having to go to one. Aimee knew she was being a bit dramatic, they wouldn't actually send her to a woman's prison for one little trespassing incident but she couldn't help her mind wandering to the extremes. Where to next? She'd been at this hotel for hours, wandering the halls and looking around, there wasn't much she hadn't seen by this point. Of course she didn't say this. This was honestly fun and a great way to spend a few hours inside while it rained outside. "I don't know them very well…What do they like to do?" She asked. Right, as if he knew them personally. "Or better yet where do you normally see them?" She asked. That was a much better question. Then again, perhaps they were out in LA. If she were staying here and had millions of dollars, she'd be out on the town sightseeing and trying to soak up as much of the culture as she could. ______________ I'm so sorry it's short and not very good and ajhdsa sorry ><

the number one princess in the world you should know by now how to please me, okay? What did they like to do? Well, Leon loved to do plenty of things - but aside from himself and other little tidbits of his pseudo-family, he had no idea what they could be up to right this moment. He probably could have asked earlier, but the moment had passed (way passed). "I... don't really know what they like to do. Sorry."
Wow that was a bit of a reality check. Then again, he probably did know but just couldn't remember right this moment. That was a possibility, for sure. Leon was sure he'd remember later. Maybe if he asked his memory might be refreshed? Hmm, but they definitely liked going to the roller coasters, right?
"Well, sometimes... well that is certainly a good question." Leon didn't know. He really didn't know. "I just see them walking off some distance away, probably back to their rooms."
He shrugged a bit. "But since you're on the job and should probably finish, let's go somewhere you haven't yet. Have you gone to the pool? The gym? I assume you've gone to the lobby, at least. Just pick a place and we'll go."
