It was already 9:00 in the morning, and yet there was still no cup of coffee in Hiro's hands. Things looked to be a pretty miserable day. He already knew that none of the other members of Sound Fuse would come around, with the exception of maybe Toshi, when he had no coffee. Hiro wasn't sure whose turn it was to buy coffee, but he knew that when he opened the cabinet and saw it empty...well, things weren't going to be pretty. Normally, Hiro would have gone out in search of the nearest convenience store in order to find said cup of heaven, but he wanted something good. Los Angeles had turned out to be a unique place, so Hiro took to the streets in search of a nice coffee shop.
His search brought him to the Java Cafe.
Upon first glance, Hiro didn't notice anything special about this place. It seemed like any other coffee shop minus the fact that he had never heard of it before (he hadn't really heard of most of these places, to be fair). Nothing screamed fancy about it, which almost made Hiro turn and search for another place, but something about it called out to him. Probably the fact that there wasn't a long line of people, which meant he would get his coffee that much quicker. Without any further hesitation, he entered the building and stood behind a young blonde, admiring her...well, he wasn't admiring her long hair.
It took a moment for him to realize that he was staring. And even when he realized that he was staring, he didn't care all that much. He knew that he should be making a good name for himself, unlike most of the celebrities that seemed to be born in America nowadays, but those curves...
"Excuse me, sir. Can I HELP you?"
Uh oh. That didn't sound like a friendly voice at all. He looked back up and noticed that a second cashier appeared, motioning for him to step forward and place his order. It least it wasn't the blonde... All he ordered was a large cup of coffee. He inquired about a 32 ounce cup, but the cashier shook her head as though he were asking for a winning lottery ticket. In a matter of seconds, he had a delicious cup of coffee waiting to take away all of his morning woes. He found a quiet booth and sat, taking in the rich goodness.
