He honestly could not possibly understand why the living hell his Shin'ya was hanging around his half-brother, Fuu. And then the fact that Fuu even had the audacity to make her not only smile, but genuinely laugh, Nachi didn't know how to handle the situation. The mother of his children was always so cold and violent towards him; she could freeze ice with her gaze for kami's sake. Why the hell did Fuu get to be treated better than him? Before the little taunting voice in the back of his head could even begin, the Shirokane male brushed the frustrating thoughts aside as he took another sip of his Alabama Slammer. The alcohol slithering down his throat calmed him for the moment as his silver eyes looked around the bar. The place was pretty empty at the time; it was only three in the afternoon after all. There were a few people dispersed within the bar, but the ones that caught his eye were several girls that were looking his way. Maybe I can spend some time with them, he smirked inwardly as he winked at them, finishing his drink before asking the bartender to send a few drinks the girls' ways. He was pretty sure that if he got them a little token like a free drink, they wouldn't mind spending some time with him. Besides, there were a good six of them; the more the merrier as they always say. And despite what the little voice in the back of his head was saying, there was no way in hell Shin'ya would care what he was doing with these women should he magically come across her. Standing up from his chair with ease, the silver-hued male waltzed over to the women with his signature smirk before he started weaving his usual flirtatious spiel. It was a wonder how so many women fell for the typical "you're so beautiful" compliments; seriously, all the women in the group fell for it. He didn't even have to try too hard. Now, most men like himself would swell up in pride for being able to do such a feat. However... Nacho was all but annoyed with being able to pick them up so easily; he really enjoyed challenges like how Sh- I am not going there. I am with a bunch of girls looking for a good time, he spoke internally, repeating the mantra over and over. That's when a thought struck him: maybe he should be generous and drop off one of the girls with Nori. Besides, he hasn't seen his brother since two days ago when he had dropped into his office. Nori needs some fun too, Nachi grinned mischievously as he escorted the group of women out of the bar and into the direction of Hope Hospital. One would think that there would be security to keep Nachi from entering the restricted sections of the hospital, but no. Perhaps they were already used to his constant appearances during the week that they saw him as harmless (unless there were pretty nurses and doctors bustling about). So really, dragging one of the women through the halls of the hospital down to where Nori worked was no grand feat. With a quick rap at the door, the dark-haired male skipped inside with the woman in toe. "Nori-nii, did you miss me?" he teased loudly as he practically tackled his elder brother. "How's my brother doing today?" questioned the younger Shirokane, nuzzling his brother's face with his own. "Oh, and I brought you a present! Some stress relief for you since I know you work hard all day."Was his brother going to murder him? Probably. But hey, bothering his brother is one of his favorite pastimes after all. • • • • • • • • • • • Date: 04/13/12 Time: 3-ish p.m. Weather: warm and breezy[/style] [style=font-size: 10px; color: #010101; text-align: center;]TEMPLATE BY SAMARECARM OF OTE + BTN[/style]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,500px,bTable] One might think that the pathology lab – and its adjourning morgue and autopsy rooms – would make for a dark, dank atmosphere of mad scientists scheming over corpses and laughing evilly to themselves over the lens of a microscope. Contrary to popular belief (much to the disappointment of high school field trip groups), Hope Hospital’s path lab team were very, very normal; with very normal individuals that just have a passion for, well, dead bodies. And look, here was the day’s daily dose of excitement coming from a poor, green-faced intern.
It was hard to think that such a routine day could go so terribly, terribly wrong. But as a matter of fact, discourse was currently strolling through the front doors of the hospital with and entourage of six. Security must have been too engrossed with dastardly crossword puzzles (eighteen across: Japanese kombu ingredient; ‘just what the hell –‘) or otherwise sleeping because the rather large group met with absolutely zero resistance.
But back to the matter at hand, because that group of chattery, giggly girls and stud weren’t going to be a problem for another…oooh, ten minutes.
The black and white name plate to the left hand side of the door read ‘Autopsy Room 5’ and beyond it were rows and rows of metal tables each neatly placed with mechanical precision. The smell of death in here was significantly stronger, not that it bothered its single occupant, who was currently scrutinizing something slimy under a microscope.
Keith Turner, age twenty six, college varsity football player, died from stab wounds in a bar fight. His body was the one laying on table number five, the Y-cut on his torso already stitched together but his cranial cavity still cracked open for all to see. It was empty, however, and some insensitive jerk might joke that the burly jock, who really wasn’t the brightest cookie in the jar in life, had air for brains. Too bad the young man at the microscope wasn’t in a joking mood and would fail to appreciate the joke, if anyone had made it.
According to everyone who knew him, Turner was a nice guy in life. Always easy to smile, happy to help people, the kind of guy everybody loves to hate but no one can. As of late though, the footballer was supposed to have been ill tempered and violent. Everyone was mystified as to the sudden change in personality but has Nori frowned at his microscope, everything became clear (actually, everything was clear even before the autopsy but science is a douche and needs evidence to support its claim).
But enough about our dear departed ball player. Nori had missed the initial reception to his rambunctious brother and his companions. The group had entered the lab with style, each sporting all the class of someone who had never visited – nor had any intention of visiting – a path lab before (sans Nachi). Each of the girls wore grimaces, no doubt thinking the worse, squealing loudly to themselves and each other.
And the lab rats, well, they just stood there flabbergasted. Most of them (probably not the green-faced intern, though) knew Nachi only as Nori’s more…flamboyant younger brother. None of them ever thought that he would go to such…lengths.
Nori, well, Nori ignored the plethora of new voices that filtered murkily through the thick door of Autopsy Room 5. He was too busy looking at pretty black starbursts on some guy’s brain. That is, until the hard rap at the door (well maybe a little after that because he ignore the knock but definitely couldn’t ignore the body currently glomping him and nuzzling into his cheek). Nori ground his teeth together the moment his brother’s suave drawl reached his ears. By the time he caught sight of the six women in the doorway looking positively green (moreso than that new intern), he was considering putting a scalpel through the younger’s head.
”What. Do. You. Think. You’re. Doing. In. Here.” he ground out with considerable effort. |

He was all too well aware that his brother probably felt like stabbing him right about now; that was how he felt half the time as far as Nachi was concerned. And in all honesty, Nachi was thrilled by it. So much so that he temporarily forgot about the girl that he brought as a gift for his brother. He was actually surprised to see that the other five girls had followed him inside, but the moment passed quickly before giving his brother his full attention. "Nori-nii, you should listen more carefully," the younger Shirokane male drawled playfully, taking a glance at his brother's colleagues before returning his metallic silver gaze on his brother. "I said I brought you some stress relief." That being said, Nachi grabbed the girl and basically pushed her into his brother. The girl wasn't bad looking; not at all, actually. She was a pretty brunette with piercing blue eyes and in Nachi's book, that was a pretty combination. It also helped that the girl had quite the womanly shape to her. Wait, why the hell didn't I keep her to myself? he questioned himself in confusion while sparing the rest of the girls a look. The other ones weren't bad at all, but they generally weren't in his tastes. But when all you want is to get laid, who the fuck cares?A chipper smirk danced across the silver-eyed male's face, eyes alit with mischief as he took a step closer to his brother's work. "Happy with the gift I brought you? I gave you the prettiest one being the wonderful younger brother that I am," he declared for a moment, his face never losing that smug expression. "Besides, I figured you'd need some... relief seeing as your girlfriend isn't around."Anyone who knew Nachi fairly decently had to be highly aware of the fact that he wasn't at all fond of his brother's girlfriend. Why? Well, it had to do with his territorial issues and him thinking that his brother deserved way better than what Kura was offering. And although Nori had pledged to kill him once or several times if he tried to interfere with his relationship, the younger Shirokane still attempted to get his brother to see other people. Did it work? Nope, but he could always try. "Hey Nori, maybe you should take a break and show this girl a good time," Nachi winke, all too pleased with himself. He was probably going to go to hell for this.[/style] [style=font-size: 10px; color: #010101; text-align: center;]TEMPLATE BY SAMARECARM OF OTE + BTN[/style]
