Tequila is woman dripping with sass from her demeanor to her words. This woman doesn’t know the meaning of ‘shame’ and is often parading around in what could only be considered her underwear. She has no qualms with sleeping around with money; actually, she’s pretty open about it. Little will hold her back from saying or doing what she likes. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind and, quite honestly, she doesn’t have a filter between her mouth and her brain so she often says things without even thinking them through first.

Although she is the mother of an eight year old boy, she is far from what you would call responsible; in fact, she herself often wonders why no one has tried to take her son. Of course, even if someone tried to take him, she wouldn’t let them. She is horrible with money, often spending it shopping with her friend. Her only redeeming quality is how generous she can be when treating her friends to a day of limitless shopping (even her son, though he’s not one for it).

She is fully aware of how beautiful she is and has no problem with flaunting her goods nor does she have any issues with boasting about herself. Fortunately, she’s not absorbed enough in her own reflection and pride to miss the important of her friends and her son (even if she is a lousy mother). She has a caring heart, but it’s only open to the people she really cares about. Tequila will do anything for her friends and, contrary to popular belief, she is a fountain of advice.

A woman whose “been there and done that”, she knows the ropes of life and has actually learned a thing or two along her way even if she chooses not to follow her own advice. She’s very intuitive, often acting on impulse rather than thinking things through, but there are cases where she opens her ears and actually listens. She’s very understanding and quite forgiving, but there’s a limit to just how much she’s willing to forgive. This tough-as-nails chick won’t forgive anyone harming her best friend or her child.

Fiercely protective and not one to sit back, Tequila often takes things into her own hands. She’s not afraid to fight for what she believes in or for her own safety and the safety of those she cherishes. Although she might not look it, she’s a fairly capable fighter. She will not take anyone’s bullshit and anyone who knows her knows better than to say anything about her or her best friend. Whatever she sets her mind to if often pursued with an unwavering determination and there’s little than can change her mind.

Born and raised in the ghettos of LA, Tequila’s childhood was far from sunshine and rainbows. Her father was a crack addict and he was falling deeper and deeper into his addiction while his mother worked to support her man’s habits. His mood swings and paranoia, results of his growing addiction, overshadowed most of her child years. Her father was wasting away under the effect of his addiction and his wife’s pleas went on deaf ears. It continued to grow worse until she arrived home from school with her mother only to find her father overdosed.

The chaos that ensued after stuck with her for the remainder of her elementary school days. Tawny’s mother stayed with the man and remained with him still despite his refusal to quit. When Tawny was sixteen, she decided she couldn’t take the constant fear and uncertainty of whether or not her father would overdose again. She dropped out of school and moved out. Tawny with a friend until she was able to find her first job and then moved into the cheapest apartment she could find.

Life was hard trying to survive on her own, but she met someone who quickly moved in with her and who she thought would help her pay the bills. It turned out that he was just looking for a girl to leech off of and Tawny wouldn’t have that. She kicked him to the curb so fast that he didn’t know what hit him. She went through a few men who had plans to mooch off of her until she found a job as a stripper at eighteen. At the strip club she found herself employed, she made more than enough money to support herself.

Unfortunately, after dating so many losers, Tawny still hadn’t learned her lesson. She began dating one more until she became pregnant at twenty years old and the guy left her flat. Before she became pregnant, she had been something of a party animal. She had lots of friends who she partied with until she had to stop for the sake of the growing infant in her stomach. Most of her friends from that time left her flat except for one person. Throughout her pregnancy, her friend of a year became her emotional rock.

She was unable to get back her job at the strip club after the birth of her son, but she discovered a better paying job. No stranger to having sex with someone, she found she made a lot more money when she charged for it. Taking her name from her stripper days, Tequila, she dub herself a prostitute and had been working as one ever since. With her son now eight and herself pushing the dreaded three zero, she has no plans to settle down with no man. She has sense learned her lesson. Besides, she has taken more interest in women now.
