Then they suddenly begged for them to help out, well it’s hard to, oh wait this lady already said what Anima was thinking: What the heck are we looking for.
Despite the fact that she was already looking for something, that her great to-be lawyer mind was racing to find this thing first. But sadly Anima was defeated to the chase. There it was something near the entity, she walked up fast towards the entity and looked down at it and back at the people. She looked over at the man who was keeping his distance and the woman in front of her. Anima narrowed her eyes, was this woman very pale, no maybe it was her imagination.
”Come on can we go down?” Anima eagerly looked at everyone with a large smile; this was going to be an adventure of a life time. She brought her hands out and swiped at the block getting some of the sand off of it. ”This can help you, right?” She looked up at the entity with expecting and hopeful eyes, almost as if she were looking at one of the attorneys who would tell her they would win. With a dire crisis such as leaving this world, she was surprisingly happy with herself. Feelings - it had been such a long time since she had felt them. But being near death reminded her how much she used to love life. Maybe it was these humans, the ones that could see her and feel her. That already meant they were special. So it wasn't a coincidence that they were here, of course not. Nothing ever was, not really. Not where Fate was concerned. But it was hardly smart for Fate to bring them here when it was preoccupied with her ghostly presence. Odd, how it was.
But what were they supposed to find in their temporary safe haven? The entity paced around a bit, trying to see if she could formulate some answers in her head. She had never quite been a smart person, rather relying much on her own power and force. A load of crap that had been, but old habits died hard. "Ah?" She hadn't noticed it before, but the dark-haired girl noticed a block under her. Odd. That had never been there before. Maybe her ties to reality hadn't been as weak as she thought they were. "Hey, that's pretty good!" She was just as ignorant as she had been too, she supposed. The entity hadn't seen the block at all. She assumed it was just... sand. As pathetic as that was.
"Where does it lead?" She murmured to herself. Two steps down, and the blocks were disappearing. Did that mean the stairs disappeared when she wasn't on them? The entity didn't have anything to do with it, but it might shed some light on whatever this was. "Let's go down!" The entity didn't even think about the consequences that this action could lead to. She wasn't the most thoughtful person on the planet. The steps went down and down. And the closer she got to the end, the closer they were to an ornate door that did not exist before. It defied possibility, that was for sure. But at this time, who could care less about it? Reality was for suckers.
When she approached the door, it felt as if she were in a different world. Where Fate didn't exist. Although she was sure the waves were still crashing and the weather was still haywire, while in the door's proximity she didn't feel Fate's interference at all. It was... it was different. But in a good way too. It felt safe from Fate. This was definitely the place where they would find answers. The entity just knew it. She breathed a sigh of relief. Maybe she could pass on in peace here too. But at the same time, she could feel a different sort of power in there as well.
It was in these moments of pure ignorant bliss that their safety started to be threatened. A small rumble in the ground was the only indication that fate's power had truly succeeded. The umbrella of protection cracked, it was almost visible as the ocean water started to pour into the bubble at an alarming rate. The water seemed to have a mind of its own, it's transparent body slowly rising up to take the form of a humanoid creature. The human continued to grow in size as more and more water appeared. It was only as the shifting formed appeared to be twice the size of a human that normal water continued to pour out of the crack. The elemental roared it's head back as if beginning its battle cry. The water elemental gleamed with some unknown light.
The water itself seemed to radiate a soft blue colour, the elemental clearly a sign from fate. As water continued to crash into the umbrella the water elemental rose what appeared to be a limb. The arm slowly brought up about 8 litres of water from the ground, the swirling mass of liquid revolving in a small sphere. The elemental let out a small chuckle before lobbing the water orb at a man. The elemental wasted no time in summoning it's next water orb. The elemental continue to draw up water from its surroundings, it was a matter or maybe twenty minutes before the whole dome was flooded with water. These mortals would not make it out alive, it had orders to destroy the entity and anything it may have come into contact with. The Spirit General would have to die once more.

Shin’ya had absolutely no intention of going down those stairs; they would probably have to drag her down there. What if what lied down below those stairs was something horrible? And really, she didn’t want any more trouble than she had already gotten herself in by walking into the bubble and trying to help out the feminine entity. As much as she wanted to get out and head home, taking some strange downward stairs to god knows where was not exactly what she had in mind just to get home.
It didn’t surprise her in the slightest when the entity jumped the gun and went down the strange steps. It also didn’t surprise her when the brunette also suggested going down the stairs. Like hell I am going down those stairs willingly., she commented internally, green eyes staring skeptically after the almost transparent woman, taking notice for the first time that she really was slightly see-through. Was she a ghost or something? As far as I know, humans aren’t known for being see-through in a literal sense. Ghosts are the only ones that I know of that can do that? Oh, what the hell did I get myself into?
Before Shin’ya could ponder it anymore, however, the ground (or sand, really) began to quiver beneath their feet. Then there was this odd shattering noise followed by the harsh melody of rushing water, making the black-haired femme turn around. Her eyes widened considerably when she spotted this humanoid being made out of water. She stood there for a moment before she attempted to move out of the creature’s line of fire (or water), throwing herself down into the sand to avoid being attacked before scrambling up to her feet again.
“What the hell is that thing?” she questioned aloud, briefly glancing at the water that was pouring into their once-protective covering. The water was going to drown them if this being didn’t kill them first and she had no desire to die today. She prayed that the ghost woman would come to their rescue or something because she honestly couldn’t think of a single way for them to escape this unscathed. Or maybe… she began to think, glancing at the stairs. Maybe they needed to go down the stairs after all to escape this thing.
Great, down the stairs we go, she grimaced mentally, dashing towards the steps. “It’s not safe here! We need to get down the stairs!”

Venedict watched her conduct a quick test and down the oddly placed stairs the entity went. Happily, Venedict noted. He could not see her face, but perhaps it was her gait that led him to think this. She was happy and oddly enough he was beginning to feel happy as well.
Of course that happiness was short lived. As if being stuck under a pier in the middle of a storm was not bad enough, the protective dome that had been protecting them all this time was being destroyed. Sea water streamed through the new opening. Venedict was horrified to see the water defy gravity and take the form of a humanoid. Fuck, I need to get out of here. But what of the woman? The entity was still below ground. Venedict needed to protect her, she could not die.
Venedict briefly heard the woman ask what the creature was before running towards the stairs. ”Hell if I know,” he muttered. At least she had the right idea about getting to safety. He could have just as easily stepped out of the bubble but then not only would he risk being dragged out to sea by the waves, he would never satisfy his growing curiosity.
At the bottom of the steps, the entity stood before a large door. Unlike before when he merely trusted the entity, Venedict now felt a strong will to protect her from the monster above. If necessary, he was more than willing to sacrifice the other two women if it meant he and the entity could escape. I will protect her until I figure out what is going on, Venedict decided – or at least he tried to convince himself that that was what he believed. And unlike before, when he was above ground, the room they were in felt safe. Here, they could have some reprieve, and formulate their next course of action. But first, it would probably be a good idea to put as much distance between them and the water monster as possible.
”Can we go through the door? There was the possibility that the door led somewhere such as a second exit. And even if there was no second exit, they could barricade themselves behind the door and buy themselves some time. But stopped and tilted her head as she watched more closely, something didn’t seem right, it’s as if the darkness went right through her. But her glee couldn’t be ignored, for some reason it felt good that she was happy and that she had to keep her on this track.
As she slowly stood up there was a rumble that made her fall back on her butt. A small oaf left her lips as she looked up. The dome was cracking and right next to it some humanoid was being created out of water. Her blue eyes widened up as water started shooting out of that things hand and through the crack. Hearing the question from the woman’s lips, Anima couldn’t come up with an answer that was a good question; the man also seemed to agree. ”What the heck is happening?” She said her own thoughts aloud, which was quite common for this girl. Anima scrambled to stand up, letting the woman go down first. After that the man also came over went down the stairs.
”Can we go through the door? Anima heard as she stepped down. She tilted her head and narrowed her eyes, an idea formed in the back of her mind, which seemed like a good idea and would find a solution to the water problem they were having. She started to jog up the stairs. ”Stand back you guys!” Was the only warning she gave before she started to run, her shoulder ready to barge down the door and of course it busted open. When Anima tried to slow down she tripped over her feet and toppled down to the hard ground.
She stayed down for a moment, her shoulder felt sore. Anima slowly sat up and looked at the open door, it opened up, she had that kind of strength, and shock was on her face. ”That. Was. Epic.” Shock still on her face as she stood up. ”I never thought I would have it in me?” She rubbed her arm a smile now on her face. Thinking about it she had seen one of the co-workers of the Wright Office bust a door down and it him a few tries but with her, man luck must’ve been on her side. The water that flooded in from the rising tides seemed to gush through the large crack. Every moment that passed by more watered entered, which threatened to drown them all. The stairway seemed unaffected by the water. The steps themselves seemed to be made of opaque glass, although the stairway, according to physics would fill with water and whatever room was down below. Instead the water passed over the stairway as if it was just like the normal muddy sand around the stairway. The opaque glass appeared to be glistening slightly, clearly exerting some kind of magical feat.
The water elemental roared, although it was humanoid in shape it had no real characteristics or defining features. The water seemed to blur everything, although the creature was literally made of water it was semi transparent but the water within it seemed to be in constant motion. The elemental wasted no time in creating another water projectile, quickly lobbing it to where they were all congregating at the glass stairs. Although they were all acting rather strange the elemental wasted no time in attempting to kill them. They could not enter the room, it would reveal too much.
The other two attacks at splattered against the ground uselessly. The splashing sounds could be heard as they collided with the mud. He only had to hold them off for about another before they drowned to death. It was as he threw another water sphere that he could feel the blast of pure raw power. The door had been opened. He could feel the power radiate from the open door, his power increasing slowly as he absorbed the radiating energy. He would destroy the mortals for disrupting such a site or pure raw power. It was dangerous for all of them if they were exposed for too long.
The crack in the protective bubble cracked once more. The distinct place where water gushed in branched outward with the introduction to more power. The water poured into the area at an alarming rate. The water elemental temporarily ambushed by the incoming ocean water. It's form lost into the water. It would resurface soon, it just needed time to manipulate the incoming water. [/style] | [atrb=vAlign,top][style=margin-top:5px; width: 90px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10px; text-align: center; font-weight: bold; background-color: #2a2a2a; color: #ebebeb; text-transform: uppercase; padding: 3px;]ENTITY[/style] | [atrb=vAlign, top][style=width: 305px; margin-bottom: 10px; text-align: justify; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10px; padding-left: 5px; border-left: 1px dotted #ebebeb;]She looked upward and easily saw where the water should be flooding down on them, instead, due to the depth of the stairway they were safe for now. The mortals were reacting very oddly but she knew they were not sued to such feats of power, no mater how primal they were. The glass steps seemed to glisten slightly, whatever was behind the door was creating the forcefield that had cracked. Whatever was behind the door contained immense power.
The entity gasped as the doors burst open thanks to the brunette girl. The room before them was nothing short of magnificent. It was simply a long, narrow hallway. The walls and floor were made of the same opaque glass as the stairs were, glistening slightly. The entity wasted no time in stepping into the room, the power it emitted was outstanding. She could feel the energies start to overwhelm her, she gazed at her hand, she was fading. The tips of her finger tips no long visible. She casually looked away, not wanting to draw attention to herself or her condition. She walked tot he nearest wall and examined the wall. There seemed to be white inscriptions all along the wall, pulsating slightly. The entity took a step backward and looked down the hallway. At the end of the hallway there was a clear podium of sorts. She could not make out what was on or around it but it was clear something was there. Although she could not identify that there seemed to be an open book filled with runes similar to the ones on the wall. The book was slowly growing, the runes writing themselves as moments passed by. The skeleton lying behind the podium had a hand outstretched to the book. The bones seemed to be made of the same opaque glass as everything else.
The entity new the room would be safe, she turned to look at the group to see a pulsating white light coming from the man's pocket. She paused to cock her head. Fate still had surprises in store for them. "What are you guys waiting for?" The entity asked in a playful tone as she could clearly see the rush of water above the staircase just increased. The forcefield was breaking more. They had to close the door before the other forcefield broke as well. [/style] |

She was definitely surprised when the water didn't flood down the stairs like she thought it would; it almost seemed like a barrier was keeping the water from rushing down just like the protective bubble that had been there. She was even more surprised when the brunette basically brought the door down all on her own.
Yes, today was definitely the weirdest and scariest day of her life.
Following the entity into the room, her green eyes widened in surprise as she drank in all that was around them. Everything seemed almost crystallized, but what caught her eye was the odd-looking symbols on the walls. She had never seen the symbols in her life; perhaps they were an ancient language and this room belonged to a people from long ago? But how would they have made everything crystallized? the sane part of her questioned as she walked along the walls of the room.
Upon reaching the strange glowing book, Shin'ya only gave it a quick once-over before turning towards the female entity. "Is it really safe down here?" she questioned quietly, staring out the door which the group entered. Although the spirit didn't seem to have anything but their own safety in mind, she still couldn't trust her so easily. Seriously, how often were you brought down to a strange crystallized room in the middle of the sand on the beach while being attacked by a water humanoid?
I'm going to need some intensive therapy after this, the dark-haired femme note, keeping her gaze on the stairs. Perhaps it would be a good idea to close the door in case the water started rushing in.

It was like they were in one of those shark tunnels that allowed you to look safely as water and monstrous aquatic creatures swam around you. Venedict was still worried, however. If the bubble that had once protected them from the water broke, who is to say that this protective barrier could not be destroyed as well? They were safe for now, but it was best for them to find a way out as soon as possible.
Venedict turned his attention back to the door. How could they open it? Was there anything on the other – The young brunette ran passed him and flung herself at the door effectively breaking it down. Well that answers that, I suppose. Venedict took a few steps into the room and surveyed his new surroundings. The entire roomed looked to be made of the same, glassy material. Even the skeleton at the far end of the room looked like it was made of the same material. Curious inscriptions in some unrecognizable language covered the walls.
Out of the corner of his eye, Venedict noticed the entity turn away from them before encouraging them to explore in a cheery voice. She was hiding something from them, he could feel it. She was still excited and happy about the whole situation but she seemed to be a bit worried as well and Venedict was sure as hell going to figure out what was going on.
It was then that Venedict realized that there was a growing light in the room. It was strange enough as it was that despite being underground the room was bright enough that they could all see perfectly but human eyes were incredible and he realized that his were actually detecting some growing light coming from below him. Venedict looked down but the light was not being emitted from the ground but from his pocket. Venedict reached in and pulled the small marble he had picked up earlier that evening. The once plain object was now giving off a bright light. The tiny glass bead was clearly related to this in some way but what was the connection? Venedict held up the bead and began walking around the room. If he was lucky he might find something and figure out what the hell was going on. It was beautiful, nothing she had ever seen in her own life time and will probably not, Anima’s mouth was gapped open. The entity seemed over joyed with this discovery and it made Anima happy as well. She noticed the entity was looking down at her hands, or lack thereof; was she a ghost? No, that couldn’t be possible, they really don’t exist, but then they could there were shows over them and trying to prove they were here. But then a question popped up diverting the girl’s previous thoughts.
What were they waiting for? Anima whipped her head to seeing if the door was going to get closed. That’s right, someone or something was threatening them and now that their bubble of protection was breaking, this was going to be their safe haven till this was all done. ”Well, it looks safe.” Anima mumbled, assured deep inside that they should be here for now. She slowly walked over to the door pushing on it to get it closed, safe and sound now it was time for exploring. Her bright eyes looked over the writing; foreign language really wasn’t her thing so it all seemed like gibberish to her. Once the door swung shut, Anima once more looked around the surroundings. Besides the writing on the wall, there was man or was it a man it seemed like a statue that was mode of this opaque glass. She slowly walked up to this statue, shivering seeing it being a skelton and looked down at the book he had his hand on.
Anima tilted her head, looking down at the writing. ”Do you know what this is?” She looked back up at the entity. Her lips pressed together, this person had to know something, questions forming in her eyes but she noticed the ghost was focused on what was in the man’s hand; it had the same glow as the room. How did he get that?
She looked down at the book once more lightly brushing her fingers on the page. The same language was coming into place just like that that was sprawled around the room. Although the sloshing of water could still be heard it was deafened out by the heavy doors. light coming from the glass bead was intensifying, the light itself so thick it seemed to almost be solidifying. Tendrils of white light could be seen rotating around the small bead, although the light was bright it seemed to be slowly changing colours. At first the bright light was white but it started to take on a green hue. The bead was lashing out to the closest vessel it could find. The time for heroes was once again needed.
The room itself seemed to churn with energy. The runes on the wall pulsated a dazzling white light as well, the runes literally starting to peel themselves off of the wall and start to gravitate towards the light green light of the bead. The tendrils of light stretch outward slowly, it would find it's vessel. The room had to be protected from fate, the ancient tome would have to be protected. The book that sat on the pedestal continued to write at a fastened pace. All at once the coiling lights froze. The lights dimmed slightly, slowly sputtering out. The light green slowly intensified into a dark green before disappearing altogether.
The lights slowly started to coil upward from the ground around Anima. The lighting was a soft white, almost reflective like a mirror, the glass in the room reflecting the lights. As the light seemed to crawl up Anima she could feel her instincts start to kick in, deep in her gut she knew she was being awakened into what she once was. The lights reach towards the ceiling, her body barely visible between the shafts of light. She could visibly see herself in the reflection that light gave her. It was only when she examined the picture did she realize the image looking back at her was a different version of her. Although they looked similar the reflection was much more intense. Her eyes contained a stare of power, her face carried grief but her stance proved her determination.
The image dissipated before images of the girls life flashed before Anima's eyes. The women using a sword to fight on the battlefield. Her grace as vines leapt from the ground to hinder an opponent. The battles won due to her determination, trees springing from the ground as she battled an enemy soldier, the branches systematically springing out to impale different enemies. The earth was this women's terrain. The light started to fade, the only reflected was the image of Anima now, her eyes growing more intense as her body could feel the changes occurring within her. The power was multiplying, the only physical thing left was the glowing green rune on the palm of her left hand. The Earth Knight has been awoken to protect her kingdom once more.
The light was gone, the room seemed oddly bare without the intense light. The runes went back to the walls, glowing faintly like they did before. The tome book was still frantically writing with the runes popping up within the book. The rune on Anima's hand was visible in the book multiple times, clearly describing the events that just took place. The bead was once more lifeless, it had completed it's job, the rune room would be safe with the Earth Knight protecting it. [/style] | [atrb=vAlign,top][style=margin-top:5px; width: 90px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10px; text-align: center; font-weight: bold; background-color: #2a2a2a; color: #ebebeb; text-transform: uppercase; padding: 3px;]ENTITY[/style] | [atrb=vAlign, top][style=width: 305px; margin-bottom: 10px; text-align: justify; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10px; padding-left: 5px; border-left: 1px dotted #ebebeb;]As the past spirit general opened her mouth to start answering questions the glowing bead was fully activated. The room was in trouble and it was taking the emergency protocols to ensure the safety of the room. The entity took a step backward as she watched the events take place before her. The swirling light was unbelievable, she could feel her some of her power be swept away by the lights but as she watched the lights surround the brunette she knew that the earth has once again in need of the past warriors. She bowed slightly at the next generation of warriors. The girl had no clue what she was in for. The raw power she currently possessed would save the world and stop fate from decimating humanity by causing another war.
The entity had a gentle smile as she watched the fading lights, the girl was awakened, clearly part of the earth kingdom as the lights had adapted to her allegiances. It didn't matter anymore, as long as she could protect humanity the war would not start and sides would not need to be drawn. "I was once the spirit general, that skeleton is what is left of my body." she held back the tears as memories started to spring back into her mind. She had forgotten about this place but it was once her home, it was how the room worked. "I once protected this place until I met my end. My soul carried on protecting this sacred place. I have watched civilizations end and tribes grow into humanity." She could feel the tears rolling down her face, she was no longer emotionally dead. "I could tell the room was in danger and lured potential guardians to this place to help protect it. By leaving the room I have forgotten all of this. You must protect this room with your lives as I did." She knew she was asking a lot but she wished to continued talking but instead broke into sobs.
Her form was fading, her whole arm was invisible. She was losing time. Her tears evaporated before they left her face, she would die forever within the next couple moments. She cleared her throat as she tried to choke out some final instructions. "Fate is trying to destroy this room, that monster wants you all dead and I have lured two innocent humans here." She swallowed back a sob as she tried to finish. "Anima, you are the new protector, anyone who is awakened must try and protect this room. The remembrance seal will be gone once I die, it won't effect you when you leave. If you are innocent forget this place, but Anima, you must try to defend the rune room with all your might. Fate will not stop in trying to take this place and absorb the information before destroying it. It holds all the answers. It was once protected by all the kingdoms, the only safe haven. I was the only one left to protect it. You have the power to change the world."
With that speech The entity smiled slightly before she started to fade rapidly. The information she had given was true. She was abandoned as other kingdoms focused on the war. Her torso was gone, her opacity was decreasing drastically. It was not long before she was gone all together. She still contained a slight influence in this reality but it would be gone completely in a couple minutes. She had left them with so many unanswered questions. [/style] |

She couldn't stop the sudden quick gasp that erupted from her throat. It wasn't exactly every day that the young mother was caught by surprise by something, so when she did, she had a tendency to... well, overreact and get a bit jumpy. The people in the room were just lucky that she wasn't hyperventilating and fainting like a typical damsel-in-distress type of person; she'd kill herself before doing that.
Ah, but the fact that the bead turned a green light that basically enveloped the brunette woman in the room was pushing her sanity to her very limits. Not to mention that the odd symbols on the walls had been glowing as well. Yup, she was definitely going to need some psychological help after these shenanigans were done with.
Green eyes rested on the brunette's hand for a moment before flickering in the apparition's direction when she began to speak. Shin'ya couldn't help but feel her head swim in dizziness and confusion at the woman's story. That skeleton in the corner was her body? The room was under attack by Fate and wanted to kill them? What in the living fuck was happening anymore? How was this even possible?! And then the woman disappeared, leaving them alone in the room.
That's when she had a breakdown right there.
"What is this? How do we get out of here? I can't stay here anymore! This is madness!" she shrieked, clutching her head while her eyes squeezed shut. This was all too much to take in right now. Why didn't she just go straight home like she planned after work? Life would have been so much easier if she had just done what she was supposed to do. And now she was stuck here and going insane with all this nonsense about Fate and monsters and runes. Just what was this nonsense?
All she wanted to do now was go home and tuck her children into their beds, kiss them good night and then just go to sleep. She wanted to go back to thinking that life was normal and nothing odd was going on in her world aside from her uncle's shady company and Nachi's stupid flirting. But now... she couldn't do that anymore. How could she when she knew too much about these things? Yet, she was still ignorant of what was truly going on and she knew it.
Calm down! she mentally yelled at herself as she opened up her eyes, taking deep breaths to calm herself down a bit. And although it was helping her some, she was still jittery and freaked out. Going around and acting like an insane person didn't exactly help the situation, so she had to calm down and start thinking clearly. Shin'ya silently swore to herself that once she was out of this place, she was going to check herself into a mental ward or get some really good therapy. Perhaps they can hypnotize in order to forget this, she mocked halfheartedly, her eyes setting on the two in the room.
"Umm... I'm sorry for my... Uh, mental meltdown," the dark-haired female sheepishly apologized, turning her attention back to the door before putting up a strong front. "But... now that we're here and we know... some of the things as to what we're doing here... what do you think we should do now? That creature is still out there and I don't think it's going to stop anytime soon."
If there was something Shin'ya learned in her short life was to stand strong even when she was at her weakest. She only hoped that it would be enough to get through this situation.

The doors of the strange room slammed shut but the sounds of the ocean water could still be heard past the thick wood. The tiny bead that he held in his hand was glowing brighter and was beginning to take on a green hue. Venedict needed to shield his eyes as the light coming from the bead intensified. Despite the enormous amount of energy exuding off the bead, he did not feel any heat. With one last flash of green the lights seemed to dissipate. Glowing tendrils of light from the ground seemed to reach up and wrap around the young brunette. The whole scene was incredibly surreal and almost seemed like something from a child’s move about magic or a dream. Yes, perhaps that was what this was: nothing more than a mere dream. Soon he would reawaken and be once again surrounded by logic and his beautiful computers.
The lights were now gone and his eyes had readjusted to the rapid changes in light. Venedict dropped the now ordinary bead. He looked at the woman with the lighter brunette hair. There was nothing different about her save the glowing green rune on the back of her hand. Venedict was beginning to worry. This did not happen often. Unlike other members of Libertine, he worked off the field where he always had the advantage. That’s not to say the he was unable to defend himself but this whole situation was insane and he was at a loss as to how he was supposed to defend himself against something without a solid body like water.
The entity that had led them down here spoke once again. A barrage of emotions hit Venedict: happiness, sadness, relief. She was crying now but her tears were not flowing down her face. They were evaporating as the rest of her form faded away. Venedict suddenly felt disappointed. He had not known the entity but he had trusted it and he had wanted to protect her. It seems that he had failed. This new information that the entity had left them with however, it answered his questions and yet explained nothing. What would happen now?
Shrieks erupted from one of the women near him. It was the dark haired woman. Her mental breakdown was not doing anything to help the situation. If anything it made it worse. It did not matter if she survived but it meant one less able body and mind to be able to help fight whatever it was behind the wooden doors. After a moment the woman recovered though she still seemed shaken. Venedict would have to be wary of that one. She could be a liability. As for her question, he was thinking about that as well.
There was nothing in the room that could be used as a weapon – against an ocean of water no less. ”We can’t stay in here forever. The door probably can’t hold for that long either. You,” Venedict looked pointedly at the one the entity had called “Anima”. She – the entity – called you the “new protector”. Can you fight?” As much as he and his pride loathed admitting it, this girl might be the only one that could guarantee his safety. She had sure as hell be able to do something otherwise they were all going to drown very soon. The door shut, Anima looked over her shoulder before a blinding light over came into the room. Her eyes shut tight for a moment, slowly opening them, her head jerked back slightly, a mirror surrounding her or something like a mirror. Something inside Anima was telling her that she was going to learn something about herself from a long time ago. When she looked closely at her reflection, it looked like her yet it wasn’t, this woman had the look of power and determination; almost as if she could do anything but looking more closely into her eyes, she was deeply grieving for something. The pit of Anima’s stomach knotted up, she felt bad not only that but the same sadness as well. But this was the kind of person Anima wants to be to grow up and become something was telling Anima she was getting her wish sooner than later. Yet she couldn’t tell if she was excited or nervous about this change.
The scene then changed, battle was raging but it didn’t seem to drag this woman down. The way she fought was beautiful from the swing of her sword to the manipulation of plants; this woman was under control of the situation it showed in every way. But the woman disappeared and now it was only her and her reflection change was noticeable now; her eyes held the same power as the woman a glow caught the young woman’s eye. Anima brought her left hand up, the green glow pulsed, giving out a sense that she and this woman was now and forever connected. The mirror light the surrounded her had disappeared, she looked at the book she had just touched on a few moments ago, it seemed to be writing in an urgent away, looking at the back of her hand to the book, it seemed to be about her, the language seemed familiar but she didn’t fully understand.
Anima’s attention went back to the entity as she explained whose skeleton that was, Anima’s eyes widened in surprise as she looked back at it, well now her. Anima once more looked back at the woman tears seemed to start rolled down her face, Anima quickly walked up to the woman opening her mouth to say something, she didn’t want to see the entity like this it was almost like it was ripping at Anima’s heart and no words could help. Suddenly to entity started to fade away but once she heard that Fate was trying to destroy the room, Anima’s face straightened out, she wouldn’t allow that, sure it seemed like a simple room but there was more than meets the eyes in this area and Anima would fight claw and tooth to keep this place as safe as possible.
Once Anima heard her name she looked back up with a quick blink to the Spirit General. ”I’ll defend this place with my life.” She said with a quick nod. A deep frown entered onto the girls face as the old General started to disappear quickly the afterlife calling her back home to an even safer place. Anima’s head jerked as she heard the other woman cry out her questions, right now they all needed to be calm, which seems to be the way how the man acted, that made Anima feel better. ”It’ll be fine.” Anima’s back straightened up, the power she had just received surged through her ready for a fight after being underground for so long, almost like a dog ready to be released from his leash.
Anima smirked at the man and raised her head. ”I can’t really explain it but something from this mark tells me I can defend this place. I’m ready for this fight.” Her smile grew as she walked up to the door, wondering how it would open, seeing how it was a defense mechanism of the room. After that was the monster that was waiting for them outside, she didn’t have a weapon but something deep inside her told her not to worry, so worry she shall not.

She felt her physical form leave her, the skeleton that was once her body slowly started to disintegrate at an alarming pace. The Spirit General felt like she was still in the room but the only thing that remained was the soft echoes of her last speech. She was truly an entity now. She had not vanished like she had expected, instead she could feel her memories slowly leaving her. Her mother's face escaped her memory, her valiant effect on the battle field was slipping between the gaps in her memory. She was literally forgetting who she was. She was no changing, she was still the same woman but she was being reduced to a pure entity, not being held alive due to the power of the room. Her job as guardian has been completed, she passed on the burden.
The Spirit General could feel her thought process starting to change. She needed to find her body once more, she would fight once more in this new battle. The entity was changing faster than she could understand. She could feel the link, she could physically feel her body. It was not a skeleton but it was a human. She didn't know how to think about it let alone describe it, this was her second chance, these human was her new being. The entity new it was her job to find the human, she would merge with the human and once more be able to save innocent people from fate. Without any further hesitation the entity of the Spirit General quickly started her search for her new body, as she was phasing out of the walls of the rune room she was quickly losing more and more of her memories. The entity only retained her core values, she would seek her new body in this era. She would shape the future General.
As she left the room she turned to look at the three humans. She could not be seen but her presence could be felt. She would help them, they were just too innocent to be left to manage for themselves. She could see their auras, the pulsating energy they gave off. She mentally smiled as she exerted her power. The nervous scared energy of the innocent women slowly stop pulsating, the color of her aura deepening as she was being influenced to feel her courage and strength. She would make for a lovely warrior, she had no choice but to help defend the room. The man was clearly under control, he had been in pressuring situations before. The entity blessed him with confidence. He would not back down, his aura flaring slightly with his new found increased confidence. With that the entity started it's long search to find the current Spirit General. The three humans would do lovely. She knew Anima could protect the room, she had no other choice. The past Earth Knight had by the one of the best fighting techniques, surely the girl's instincts would help her through. The staircase was a different story, the elemental was trying everything it knew how to do to rupture the forcefield protecting the stairway. The ornate glass seemed to mock it as it continued to attack the forcefield. It could feel the power the room was radiating, it didn't take long for the power to intensify ten fold for about a minute. The elemental roared, the storm outside getting more and more intense as the elemental got more and more angered. It could feel the presence of another being with powers. It was bizarre to feel as they had been three ordinary civilians moments ago.
As the water elemental rammed itself once more against the forcefield only to feel it crack ever so slightly. It would be go time, with a coy smile on it's humanoid face it continued to attack the forcefield. Slowly but surely the water elemental was snaking through the small crack. What first started as a puddle was quickly growing to it's full shape. The running water could be heard over the raging ocean. The elemental stood on the third step of the staircase, it's humanoid form startling as it held up an orb of swirling water in it's left hand. They would have to leave sometime and he would be ready to strike as soon as the doors opened. Ocean water sputtered through the crack, it's salty smell edging the elemental onward. It would destroy not only the three humans but also destroy the book, the only thing stronger than fate. [/style] |

Shin'ya had never once in her life experienced anything like it, but it wasn't alarming in the slightest. Actually, it felt rather nicely to feel level-headed again; well, as level-headed as you can be in this sort of situation she supposed. But nevertheless, she felt so much better than she did a minute ago. And for once, she prayed that she wouldn't have a mental panic attack like that anytime soon; her life was annoying enough as it is and she didn't necessarily feel like visiting a mental hospital in the near feature.
Then there came that surge of courage, which left her thinking of what could be possibly be making her feel this way. However, she didn't pay much mind to it as she took one final glance at the crystallized skeleton and the odd book before turning to the others. Shin'ya actually felt a little bit braver looking at the skeletal remains for some reason, but she wouldn't say anything about that out loud. No need to make her seem crazier than the situation was already making her. Nope, she would definitely keep on her poker face to stay on the safe side until she got the hell out of this situation.
At the mention of fighting and leaving the room, the black-haired female let out a silent sigh. It was the truth after all; how else were they going to get out of the situation? "So what exactly is the game plan then? Or were you two just planning on busting down the door and just going out there with no plan in mind?" Shin'ya asked in a curious tone, tilting her head to the side as she spoke. However, she couldn't help but notice the odd sound of rushing water nearby. It was almost as if there was a stream running by around here, but the only body of water should could possibly think of was-
"Do you two... hear that?" Shin'ya asked questioningly taking a step closer in the door's direction. Hopefully she wasn't imagining it; she really didn't feel like losing her sanity today.

That was actually a good question, what would the plan be? With what they were about to face could there be a plan, the thing was made of water. Anima looked down at the glowing rune on her hand; a surging power went through it. When she was about to make her deliberate statement, something that sounded like a running tap caught her attention. How could she hear this well? And it seemed like she wasn’t alone in hearing it either, behind that door something was now happening.
What bugged Anima is that she didn’t have a weapon and the door was still close. She felt her pulse on her neck, the adrenaline rushing through her veins, her blue eyes steady on the door that was protecting them. It needed to go away, that safety net. Once more her gaze went to her left hand, she flexed it something inside telling her to take the door down with this new found power.
A serious gleam entered into her eyes she raised her hand up unsure if she was really doing this right. Sorry Mr. Door, you’re going get hurt a second time today. It happened suddenly, a large vine quickly and powerfully shot out of the rune and busted the door. Smoke sputtered everywhere attempting to settle down.
To tell the truth, she was going plan-less, that was the plan. Liquid is hard to fight but maybe with this new found power it won’t be hard, but what does she know?

ELEMENTAL | [cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;]
The water elemental cackled slightly, the water around the elemental splashing upward as it wasted no time in throwing the water sphere it had collected. The door blasting outward as a vine burst through the door only to shortly collide with the water sphere causing the vine to snap. The elemental knew it was now or never. Raising his hands above his head he reached upwards before diving downward into the forcefield on the stairs. The small crack that it had created in the forcefield allowed the water elemental to easily snake its way through the forcefield. The elemental started to reform once it was on the second step, the humanoid shape coming into view once more. It's form was made of moving water, the constant shifting of its body was almost nauseating to look at. It stood around the same height as the average man would, its arms were slightly longer than normal but it was made out of water after all. It was a servant of fate's will. Fate would conquer the room if it was the last thing it did.
The elemental raised his palm as a water sphere started to appear, it easily looked into the room, the three humans standing there almost watching the elemental. He smiled slightly before throwing the sphere towards the group. The burning green rune of the brown haired girl was startling as she had not had it before hand but he was still confident in his chances. The water orb collided with the only man in the group. The sphere made contact with his left arm, the water in the sphere instantly covering where it had collided in a heartbeat. The water was slowly starting to incase Venedict. The elemental let his arms raise as the water around his very feet were being attracted to the man, droplets were flying towards him. In a matter of a minute Venedict was encased in a water shell, completely immobile. The water elemental turned to the other humans. It slowly started to form another water orb, the look upon where his face would have been was demeaning to say the least. It let out a guttural sound that had been long forgotten by any mortal. The age of elementals was upon the earth now.

She most certainly wasn't expecting for said vine to suddenly bust down the door either, causing it to burst open. At this point however, she wasn't as frightened as before; and hell, after all that's happened today in a short amount of time, weird and inexplicable things should be expected right now. So a vine suddenly coming out of the brunette's hand? No problem. Though, that odd water creature was still out there, so that was a big issue.
Once the smoke cleared, green eyes rested on the water elemental that was currently reforming on the stairs. So she wasn't crazy after all! The water really had been sinking in after all. She nearly jumped when she felt water slowly flooding into the room, but she kept calm instead. However, she did managed to get a bit freaked out when the dark-haired man was attacked and trapped in a case of water. What the hell? Ah, and that growl-like sound was enough to send some shivers down her spine. But she was going to stay strong and not break down again. That would be left for later.
Keeping her eyes on the being the entire time, she felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand with anticipation when it started forming another ball of water. It was going to try to hit one of them and she wouldn't at all be surprised if it tried to go after her. But then it suddenly occurred to her that she was barely a threat to the creature at all meanwhile the brunette wasn't in the same category. That girl could actually do something to stop the creature once and for all, so there was the strong possibility that it would go after the brunette instead and leave her for last.
Shin'ya couldn't have that if she wanted to make it out and see her children tonight.
Steeling her resolve, the black-haired female took a step forward with a concentrated frown on her face as she prepared to act as a distraction. "Hey, leave us alone! We haven't done anything! And if you're going to go after anybody, how about trying me, huh?!" She knew she was lying and scared beyond her wits, but for the moment, who the hell cared? They needed to survive and although she didn't know him, she wasn't exactly sure how long the man trapped in the water was going to survive in there.
Never allowing her eyes to move from the water elemental, she prepared herself to possibly dodge the attack. She knew there was a high possibility that it would still hit her, but hopefully the brunette would take that opportunity to attack the water creature so they could make it out alive.

Through laced dust, the humanoid water being was now visible; it stood just like a human. Anima’s eyes widened slightly feeling her stomach drop slightly and a slight step back; she wasn’t ready for a fight, an actual fight, one the required fists and all. Seeing how the thing was now ready to tack as it too brought a palm up an attack coming out of its hand. The water being looked around the room
It zoomed back, Anima ducked slight, and shot for the man. The water started to engulf the man’s left arm. Anima’s head then whipped back to the being, its hand raised quickly and it seemed to happen so quickly, the man that was to be her ally in this battle was now incased in water. She wanted to run over there to see if he was ok or could be pulled out, was he still breathing? But looking closely at him, it seemed like the gentleman was stuck in some dream, what it was no one would know.
Anima then jerked her hands to her ears as the water being given out a blood curdling scream. But then the woman started walking up to this monster. ”No, don’t! You don’t know what else this thing can do.” Quickly going to the woman’s side, or more in front to be her protection, Anima once more lifted her hand up, the only weapon in her arsenal being the rune gifted to her. Once more she felt the power come out ready for an attack.
Of course, this made the young woman feel slightly useless. She had to get this woman out quickly as possible or at least around this monster. Her head whipped over to the other woman. ”You need to get out of here.” Her brows came together in concern. ”If I distract this monster, you can run outside. Get some kind of help.” Even if it was useless it would’ve been better than no help.

The Elemental did not feel like playing anymore games, it was time to end this and destroy the room like it was meant to. These people were no threat as the orb it had created was ready to be used. Leaving not time for the women to finish their plan the Elemental used its power to attack both girls at once. Yet this time it did not throw the orb, which had been expected of the creature. No, this time water started to leave the sphere, like snakes leaving a basket. These tentacles of water moved slowly at first, taking time to extent in shape. They moved around the women, like a pack of wolves sizing up for the kill.
If the Elemental could smile it would have, this was to be an easy battle, after all everyone was about to die. The area still filling up with water, if the tentacles did not kill them then drowning surely would. At once the tentacles attacked, moving at speeds that were hard to see by the human eye. Each tentacle aimed for a different area, some only grazing the skin while others were more dangerous, aiming for body parts and vital organs. The girls would need a lot more then just luck to survive this one.

Like Fate, Destiny had also been in search of the Rune Room, but not to destroy it or learn from it. Destiny knew its role, knew of the affect it had on the world and its people. Destiny only wanted to find the room to make sure that it, alone with the people connected to it, were following their destine path. Finding the room was easy once the doors had been open and the power released. What was not expected was the power Fate had left behind and the humans that were put into danger because of this. The room, Fate could not have it, Destiny knew that even Fate was not destined to have the room, at least not today.
Interference would be needed, something Destiny was a master of. Releasing a wave of power down the staircase forcing the waters to recede and become still. No longer would this creature of Fate have the waves of the ocean to control. Now to help those humans, something Destiny only did when it was meant to be. Not being able to enter the room, the shock way of power would have to be enough to cause some sort of helping effect. If not a least Fate had been stopped for today, that was really all Destiny wanted.

Effect: Freezing | [cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;]
The shock wave of power could be felt in the vibration of the air and in the force the waters made when being pulled back into the ocean. The energy was chilling and circled both the Elemental and the sphere of water that was trapping a human male. The outer rim of the sphere froze and then cracked under the pressure of the water inside it, releasing the man from his water coffin. The Elemental was also affected by this sudden change in power, the creature's body also froze. Trapped within a prison of its own power. Those tentacles from before were last to be frozen already causing some sort of damage before becoming still and turned into ice. At this point of lost Fate took back the power it had used to create the elemental and retreated back into the earth. The now empty shell of the elemental crashed to the floor light shattering glass. The humans were safe, for now.

If you have any questions, PM Destiny. Please note a loss does not mean death. Be creative. Residue will be posted at the end of the event as well as everyone's roles in this event. Due to Destiny interference the event has shifted from it's true path. Be aware that this may effect future events. Please post your final post, wrap up any lose ends and thank you for being a part of Event 2. Also a note for Unknown, even though you are listed for another event Anima must still be injured, please note it can be anything that takes 17 days or less to heal, or will not be restricting for Anima after 17 days. | [cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 500px; height: 35px;] |
