Today was the thirtieth of April, marking fifteen days that she had checked herself into the place due to severe mental breakdowns. The cause for the breakdowns? The weird and startling events that happened on the third of April in that odd room along with the death of Nachi Shirokane. Really, she had been pretty damn fine the following days after that weirdness took place at the Santa Monica Pier. The dark-haired femme had been much too busy chasing after her children, chasing after their flirtatious father and working. She didn't have time to think about all that nonsense that had occurred. That is until Nachi died in an unfortunate accident on the tenth of April. Two days later was Nachi's funeral. Two days after that, all the emotions and confusion finally caught up with her. During the middle of her shift at work, someone had stupidly asked her about the funeral and her sanity collapsed. The green-eyed female had dropped what she was doing and broke down into tears. On top of that, she started speaking nonsensical things about Fate and danger and a room hidden in the sand by the pier. She was inconsolable and was immediately sent home. And the very moment she got home, she contacted her uncle to take care of her children for her and checked herself into a mental ward. Shin'ya had thought that she was going to get better. She had thought that nothing bad was going to happen and that within a few days, she would go back to her kids and live life. Such a naive little thought. Since the fifteenth of April, her touch with reality began to dissipate. She had become much more jumpier and easier to scare. She would talk about her experience in that rune room and about the crazy attack from that monster made of water. The woman had even become very paranoid that she would almost attack everyone she didn't recognize. To add to that, she violently refused to take her medicine. They had claim she was getting worse and worse by the hour seeing as she had gotten to the point where she was basically frightened of her own shadow. That's when they decided that maybe they should give her some peace of mind. So here she was, strapped to a chair under a single light bulb in the facility's basement. Shin'ya wasn't aware of what they were planning on doing to her; for all she knew, they were probably going to touch her inappropriately or leave her there to die. Fighting back tears that were biting the corners of her eyes, the dark-haired woman started taking deep breaths to calm herself some. I'm so tired, Nachi, she groaned mentally, staring up at the light to distract herself some. Maybe they really are going to leave me here to die... then maybe I can join you. I'm sure my uncle will take care of Chii and Shii. You know, they really miss you, Nachi. I... I do too. Was it pathetic of her to cry to a dead person mentally? Probably, but she didn't care at the moment. It was then that she heard shuffling of feet and voices. When she spotted the source of the noises, she began flailing around and struggling against her bindings. They immediately tried to keep her secured and administered something to her through a needle. It barely took a few seconds for the contents of the needle to start taking effect as she started feeling herself go numb. She couldn't move anymore and she was so very tired. She could hardly register anything that was going on around her anymore and the voices going on around her were muffled. What was that sharp thing that person was putting in front of her eye? What was the purpose of it? And in one quick instant, she was gone; her brain eternally stuck in a dreamworld where everything was good and well and she had her family with her. No one in the facility noticed her missing and when someone checked in on her that day, she was back in her room. The only thing was that she no longer responded to external stimuli no matter what they did to her. She was gone. She finally had peace.
