OOC Info An NPC Played By DaniFace Claim Sheva Alomar from Resident Evil | 01. Position One of the Three Leaders of the Impedio Society. Combat, Strategist & Tactics Director. 02. Personality Basics UNCOMPROMISING – Or, put in better terms, a hardass. It's her way or the highway, and if you don't like her methods, you can get the hell out, simple as that. She doesn't suffer defiance or bratty children, and she will write you off from even existing in her world if you continue to act like one. CRUDE – Blunt, foul-mouthed, and completely unashamed of what she does, Arc's very presence has a tenancy to offend those of a meek (or perhaps sheltered, or prudish) mind. Years in the military and after coming to the conclusion that you can't please everyone in this world built her into this sort of mannerisms. INTIMIDATING – If her tall height and decently built frame isn't enough for you to be intimidated, then the way she smirks and simply carries herself will. Even before she speaks the woman carries an air of someone you really don't want to cross, or argue with. HABITUAL LIAR – While Arc is too blunt to lie about the big issues in life, it is known that you generally shouldn't believe her wild tales about 'whats she's done to the last kid that didn't listen' or 'you got it easy, wanna know what they did to me to teach this lesson?', or anything along those lines. Her time in the marines gave her a habit of attempting to top another's stories – and should anyone try to 'outdo' her, she'll come up with something even more far-fetched. It's sort of like a pissing contest for her. UNRESTRAINED – She's a trained combatant with a temper and a fondness for solving things with violence, and has no qualms using a sudden punch to the side of your temple to get your attention. Don't push her button and you won't have to personally witness this aspect, however. DEPENDABLE – Despite all her rough edges, if Arc is one good thing its loyal. She'll bitch and moan about it, but if you're on her good side (or you're one of her 'kids'...though you'll never hear her call them that aloud) and you need help, she'll be there, trying to help as best she can. 03. Vital History Notes EARLY CHILDHOOD – Nothing of particular note happened to her while she was still significantly young – she knew she was 'special' and picked for some destiny that sounded like an exciting fairytale when she was a kid, but that was about it. Her family told her nothing of the Society they were so closely tied to and to whom they would send many of their brightest to when they came of a decent age. AGES 10-13 – Unbeknownst to her she started her training as early as this, in the form of karate lessons and 'extra-lessons' at home that involved the history of the group she was being prepped to join. She never understood why her parents took her simple karate sessions so seriously, but she endeavored to please them for the time being. AGES 14-17 – The age range when she started to become bitter, due to the informal militia-style training her father imposed on her. She was never allowed a normal social life between school, her training with her father, and schoolwork. It was ironic, considering her family allowed her to remain in public schools in hopes of improving her later social interactions in life. Instead, it made her isolated – the more time went by, the more she realized she was vastly different than everyone else. The seed of her intense dislike for her 'fate' began in these years. AGES 18-23 – Immediately after graduating high school, she did something extreme – she enrolled into the United States Marine Corps, something she never thought she would have done, but it both removed her from her 'destiny' and utilized what she knew best after years of her informal training: how to fight. She dropped off the grid entirely for these years, absorbed into the rest of the faces of the militia, putting everything she was into her training and service with them. She climbed ranks at an alarming rate, and would have likely become a highly decorated solider, if one of her family hadn't found her – who, ironically, was also in the military, and of alarmingly high rank. This, naturally, led to him discharging her (luckily, not in a way that shed her in a bad light), and she was forced back to her parents. AGES 24-26 – Shipped across seas to learn martial arts of various origins and absorb herself in their 'philosophies', there was little Arc could do but fume by herself between meditations and frustratingly non-violent combat techniques. Hoverer, the few years at the temples did, somehow, manage to mellow her. She took a lot of comfort in the calm, accepting natures of most of the places she went, and began to find herself investing in their very receptive mindset. It was her time overseas that finally calmed the rebellious storm – which, in all honestly, had been the intent all along, though the implementations of strong hand to hand combat along the way was a plus. AGES 27-PRESENT – The final year of her training was spent studying the tactics and abilities of their enemies (or what information her family could get her, anyway). In between this were various, brutal trials laid out by her own family that tested her ability to adept, survive, and improvise, to make sure she was ready for anything. Even while learning, however, she began her task of training new recruits, and in no time at all her new found acceptance of her role coupled with her years of harshly strict marine training made her out to be an infamously terrifying but incredibly effective trainer. It wasn't until she'd been training recruits for five years (in addition to showing her brilliant tactical advice and own prowess on a battlefield) that she was raised to replace the late oppositions director of the Impedio Society. 04. Inventory OMNIS NEUTRALIZER – Worn in the form of her old military dog tags, Arc wears one of the most versatile neutralizers the society has at the moment. It can neutralize any of the elements for a short period of time, rendering awakened individuals or even fate monsters temporarily without powers. This does not, however, effect any of their other cognitive or combat abilities, simply removes their elemental prowess for a short period of time, allowing Arc a small window of equal ground. However, due to its powerful effect, she saves it for emergencies, being as it has to be recharged after only a couple uses in any given fight. OBEX ARGENTATUS – A unique item she as gifted by her family after she finally accepted her role – the item that was always passed down to their more 'combatant' roles of their operatives. An unassuming, simple silver arm band that absorbs a certain amount of elemental damage, but only elemental damage. However, it's behavior is erratic, as it will sometimes absorb damage, and other times won't – there is no rhyme or reason as to when it decides to work, not unlike a moody pregnant lady. It could have to do with recharging its energy, or it simply could just be a random chance savior. Either way, it's incredibly helpful when it does decide to work, absorbing half or more of an elemental's attack, occasionally saving Arc from the brunt of a very nasty injury. VENATRIX INTERFACE – An intricate, incredibly complex piece of technology that was commissioned by her parents when she was elevated to the rank of consuls. A small rectangle, roughly between the size of a cell phone and small laptop, with a screen taking up most the space and a small set of four buttons on each side of said screen, the interface utilizes every piece of information they have on Fate, Destiny, their minions, and the types of readings they give off, as well as the generic sensory data on picking up the abnormalities in people that tells when they contain a reborn soul, all jumbled into an incredibly long-range scanner, making it very hard to escape this device's notice. On top of that, once close enough to a target to hone in on it, it can categorize the subtle differences between signals, and give readings to Arc that tells her the percentages of what type of element she may be facing – most of the time of which, it's right, unless the creature holds no elemental power, at which point it just gives utter nonsense. It's also been recently upgraded to synch directly to her earpeice, and verbally feed her vital information about any goings-on near her (such as energy fluxes that tell when her opponent may be trying something or about to attack), as well as encased in reinforced steel plating to ensure it can survive battles. |
