[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Corrine passes her days as a student, well at least she used to. As of right now she finds herself not in school and employed as a bookstore employee but most of the time she can be found reading what she should be stocking rather than actually doing her job though. She actually is rather aimless in her life right now as Corri doesn't have clue one with what she wants to do with her life.
[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Personality
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] Corri can be a force of nature to those who have just met her, and to her friends and acquaintances as well. She is a very blunt and honest person who sees no reasons for even little white lies to be told. In the past, she has actually told someone to their face that she does not like them. To her, honesty is the best policy and keep things simple. The woman also has quite the temper and doesn't usually have in check which accounts for her violent tendencies. Nothing too extreme, just slapping people in the face or throwing objects at them. She may have a record, but why do you need to know about it? She enjoys a good debate with anyone, even herself from time to time. Corri is usually in the mind set that she is right no matter what and will fight to the death to make sure that you discover this too. However, if you find her muttering rather...passionately to herself then it's best to back away slowly before she drags you into the argument. There is no escape once you are caught. Corrine is a rather skeptical person as well, only believing in fairies, unicorns, and witches for a short period of time in her childhood. She is not one for superstitions or wives' tales, but is an avid reader of fairy tales and folk lore. Though she won't admit it to anyone, she is a bit of a romantic still dreaming of the day that a worthy gentleman will sweep her off her feet and take her away. Corrine loves writing and receiving letters, old black and while films, having the door held open for her and anything that would be attributed to a simpler time. She loves reading and always had a novel or book of some sort with her no matter where she is, a restaurant, the bus stop, the grocery store, and a few other places where one probably shouldn't be reading. Corrine has never been much of a stickler for the rules though and usually makes her own. She is an extremely stubborn person and will not budge an inch unless she trusts the person wholly, they've given her good reason, or she may be slightly tipsy. Whose judgement is great once they have alcohol in their system anyway? Unfortunately, Corrine hasn't exactly discovered this fact about herself yet. However, she will dig her heels into the ground until her side is seen and accepted. If you are willing to put up with all this though you will find yourself with an incredibly loyal friend who will defend you until her last breath, whether literally or figuratively.
[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] History
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] Corrine Theresa Harrison was the second child born to Hank and Theresa Harrison on a September night. The child was born into a rather high profile family, her grandfather and father both well respected lawyers and her older brother Peter was already being groomed for that life at age five. The Harrison firm was very popular and famous in the city, thus Corrine spent a fair amount of her childhood in the somewhat of the media spotlight...and hated it. Her mother told her to simply smile and and give them vague answers, but one day Corrine finally snapped. When she was about ten or eleven years old she glared at a magazine reporter and told him he was an idiotic male pig and proceeded to kick him in the shins. Needless to say her family was not very happy with her, however her brother gave her a high five in private that night. That one moment was a defining moment in Corri's relationship with her grandfather. He was never a kind or warm man, but he was fair to his family and wanted everyone to uphold the family name to the highest standard. That moment with the reporter had made Corrine feel rather...empowered to say the least and the fact that her mother disapproved of her sarcasm only made it better. By the age of thirteen, her father had given up on her ever being a lady. Corrine wasn't so lucky with her mother and grandfather giving up though. The girl found a solace in her grandmother though, she was an older woman who didn't much care for the game of money and power. She would invite her grandchildren to sit down and watch old or rather cheesy romantic films with her, the pink haired youth found an escape in these films and soon held a closeted dream of having a romance like that. The kind where a man will do anything to win your love, he'll bring you flowers and write your romantic letters of passion and longing. Corrine wasn't going to tell anyone this though, not even Peter. One night her grandfather caught her devouring another romance novel and ripped the book from her hands and scolded her. He told her under no circumstances would this happen, she would marry a man who would be fit to join her them at the firm and be ready to take over with her brother someday. She was fourteen at the time, and Corrine told her grandfather she hated him. The man simply tucked her book under his arm and walked out the door. That year also began the marathon of men that would suddenly parade in and out of her life, all thanks to her mother. None of them ever lasted through more than one function though as Corri probably scared them off or gave them a black eye before the night was over. Her mother grew tired of her daughter's antics and behavior after so many years of not having any prospects. Corrine was more than happy about this as they were running out of possible matches for her, she had her books, her writing, and she would be leaving the house soon so she didn't care. However, the night of her eighteenth birthday her family sat down to the dinner table and her grandfather dropped a bomb. Tomorrow she would be meeting her fiance and his family for breakfast, so she had better be on her best behavior. Peter choked on his food and Corrine fixed the man with a cold, hard stare before standing up and running out of the house. She couldn't let him see the threat of tears she might have. At the rather disastrous breakfast the next morning, Corrine and Xavier were informed they would be married in two years after Xavier had finished his schooling and got settled in at the firm. Even though Xavier tried to make conversation with her, Corrine simply said nothing to anyone during breakfast and left as soon as she could. Once they returned, her grandfather blew up at her. He called her ungrateful and not worthy of Harrison name if she was going to act like that and that she should just leave. Corrine took his suggest to heart and asked with a steady gaze what was stopping his threat, she could handle herself on her own out there. The room got quiet, and her grandfather fixed with a calm, steely gaze. After what seemed like an eternity of silence, he simply told her to leave. Xavier had expressed interest in joining the firm with or without marriage into the Harrison name, so she could just leave. Corrine said a difficult goodbye to her older brother and grandmother but was on a plane the next morning and found herself in L.A and has been here ever since. While Corri did try to go to school for a while in L.A. she found that trying to balance both school and a job was not the best course of action for her. So, this past year she pulled out of school and is trying to discover what the heck she wants to do with her life. While she does not have any idea what she is going to do with her life exactly, she is making her own rules and decisions as of right now and that is enough for her.
