If there was one thing he hated it was begging, a good example is from the tied up male that was pleading with them to let him go, that he was sorry that he won't make the same mistake again. But there wasn't going to be a next time regardless. They didn't get this far in giving people second chances, it was good to nip problems in the bud before they flourished.
“You caused me a lot of trouble.” He said around the cigarette perched on his lips, “Police came to me because of your little screw up.” Not that he regretted it, that was a...very interesting morning to say the least. He had warned the man to run, just to make it more interesting and run he did, it took a couple of WEEKS before his men finally found him, and if Damien wasn't so annoyed he would've been impressed with the man's ability to cover his tracks so well. It was a true shame but nothing he could do about it.
“Nail.” He barked to one of the other men in the room, who grinned and picked up a nine inch nail and placed it over one of the finger joints as a hammer was brought up...and then swiftly down. The scream that echoed through the room was blood curdling, “Have fun boys.” He said casually, waving his hand to the rest of them as he turned and headed towards the door even as the begging resumed, this time more frantic then before, but Damien ignored it as the large steel door closed behind him, silencing all noises from within.
He clicked his tongue as he walked down the narrow corridor. The boys would play for a few hours before killing the other and dumping him in a place that would take years for the body to be found. He should really start thinking of just dumping them into a pig farm. Those animals would eat everything the best if a police unit scanned it they would find a fingernail. Ha, and who said pigs weren't useful?
Taking the elevator he rode it up to the top floor, where his office was. He knew he shouldn't bring the man here but he was working today and he couldn't afford to slack, besides that's why he had that torture chamber built deep underneath here. Only way to get there was by a secret elevator from his office which was password protected so...it was not something anyone could just stumble by.
Walking out, the bookcase swung shut behind him to hind the elevator door and he collapsed in the chair at his desk. Pulling the cigarette from his lips, he put it out in the crystal ashtray before picking up some of the paper work he had and began reading through them. It was about an hour into them that his cellphone started ringing. Absently he grabbed it out from his pocket and answered it. “Wei.” He said absently in Mandarin as he signed his name at the bottom of some papers.

There was one thing Kyoko really hated about being a police officer. It was that there was literally a huge lack of funding for things. While it was quite possible they could have funding, really Kyoko didn't count on it. So it was backup plan time, because she really wanted to do this mission. The best part (in her opinion) of police work was undercover missions. Because then she could be bad all she wanted (well, within reason of course, she couldn't be too horrible, that went against her own moral compass), and usually it came with the perks of dressing up really nice. She did it for the latter. If there was anything she hated about the job it was the lack of interesting clothes to wear. And undercover work usually made up for it - if only it weren't so infrequent. So when Kyoko found out that there was a possibility she wouldn't be able to do anything about it, she was shocked, hurt, and already forming a backup plan about the money. And that entailed talking to a certain person... She really didn't want to, but it was her work on the line and it was for a very good cause, and hell, he was rich. What were a couple thousand of dollars to him? Of course, if he wanted favors... well, Kyoko was happy to deliver. This could technically count as prostitution, but she was willingly doing it and could count that was a 'favor' and then count his money as a 'favor' too... just an exchanging of favors, that was all. Or so, that was how she justified it in her mind. Really, if this were any other case they'd be fine with the money. But no, it had to be the case where the richest of the rich gained access to the club and unfortunately, the police department was anything but the richest of the rich. Damien, on the other hand, ranked just about rich there in terms of money and income. How she sometimes really envied the man. She dragged Kei along with her too - after all, Kyoko never knew when she needed an extra set of boobs to convince a man for money. As much as Kyoko fought not to think of her partner in this way, it was really difficult when they were just... really huge. Plus, she would be a part of the case too, so why the hell not. And of course, the reason the both of them knew but didn't say as to spare the younger cop's feelings, the direction-challenged self that she was needed a ride towards the office. And in the midst of this she also wanted to try to keep her partner in as much of the dark as possible. Because she really didn't want to reveal what had happened two weeks prior to her partner... really she didn't. As Kei was driving the two of them to the office, Kyoko thought the polite thing to do was to warn the guy, right, since she did have his cell number. Really though, they were like twenty seconds away from arriving. "Damien. I'm coming to your office in five. Okay? I have a favor to ask, I hope you don't mind." She didn't really leave much time for him to respond either, hanging up the phone. Well, the five second pause she did leave and the words that probably were spoken she hadn't been paying the slightest attention to. She really... truly hoped that was enough warning for him because there they were, in front of his office, seconds later. Now they only had to go inside the office and talk. Right. Talk.

Today had not been a bad day and Kei hoped that it would stay that way with what they were doing now. She had done her paperwork, there were no big emergencies that they were called in on. All in all, her day had been rather calm. However, driving down to the office of one Damien Kwan was certainly not something that Kei would place on her list of "Pleasant Things to do on a Saturday." Unfortunately, the two of them did not have much of a choice. Kei was sure that Kyoko would have gone alone if she could. But with the way things were, and Kyoko's lack of directional sense, Kei would have been worried had Kyoko set off alone.
Nonetheless, Kei knew how much Kyoko wanted the funding for the undercover mission. She understood that her partner wanted to be able to dress up nicely and not be in uniform for once like other girls and if having to beg one rich asshole for money was the solution, then beg she would. And besides, Kei could be overprotective at times. She was not going to let Kyoko go alone especially while she was dressed like that.
Kei gave her partner a furtive, side glance as Kyoko called said rich asshole. The two of them had made sure to dress nicely in preparation for asking Damien for a favor. Kei, herself was wearing a pencil skirt and a blouse that helped to accentuate her greatest pair of assets when it came to dealing with men. Kei would never understand men's fascination with large breasts; not when they got to stare and she had to deal with the effects of back problems and finding nice looking bras.
"Are you sure about this?" Kei asked her partner once she hung up the phone. "Not going on one mission is not the end of the world," she continued. "And we could still turn at this point."
Kei had a feeling that her attempts to convince her partner would be futile. Kyoko was so determined and who could blame her? The undercover mission would be a glamorous one, if they could get in.
Withholding a sigh of disappointment, Kei parallel parked near the entrance of the office building. "Well, let's go."

Damien blinked his eyes a few times at the voice from the phone. It was...well well, and here he thought he wouldn't be hearing from her for at least a month or two before she got a little more sexually frustrated like last time, but Damien would be lying if this wasn't a nice surprise. Placing the next document down in front of him he leaned back in his chair with a smirk on his features. “A favor? Should I call Kimiko for this as well? She's always asking about you.” He practically purred into the phone.
And he wasn't lying, every time he invited her out she asked if 'that cute cop girl' would be joining them again and always pouted when he gave her a negative. It was nice to know that Kyoko left that much of an impact of the highly paid escort that Kimiko was. To his shame though, the woman hung up quickly after making him frown before sighing as he placed his phone away and made a few calls, one to the boys downstairs, informing them not to come up until he's giving them the signal too, wouldn't want them walking in on something...like office sex, he's always had a weakness for that.
Second he paged his secretary on letting them in with no fuss, she was a cop so it was no fuss, especially since it was a cop he knew rather personally. Once that was done he occupied himself with some more documents before hearing the door open and glanced up to see not one but two women. Well he didn't expect that, not from Kyoko anyway. He raised a brow at the other woman wearing a blouse that would draw any man or curved woman's gaze to them. Briefly Damien wondered if Kyoko brought in a hooker but dismissed that thought as she was dressed too nicely to be such a thing.
Instead he gave them both a smile, “Ah Kyoko, long time no see.” He said standing up from his desk, “Come take a seat.” He invited gesturing to the comfy looking couches he had in his office. It was rather big, almost the size of an apartment with a couple of couches and even a mini bar counter with rows of bottles behind it, “Want anything to drink for you or your friend?” He inquired, sticking his hands in the pockets of his black Armani suit as he walked over to it.

Kyoko thought she heard the distant echo of 'Kimiko' before she hung up. And it led to a bit of a cause of panic for her. Was she there? Would he really... no, obviously not, and even so, she was going to talk business - or rather, grovel at his feet for some money and perhaps Kei wouldn't think too horribly of her for reducing herself to such a thing for him. It all came down to money, in which he was plentiful of and the department was, unfortunately, not. It's just money, Kyoko, that's all it is. "I'm sure Kei. Don't you want to go too?" Because dressing up in fancy clothes had to be tempting in some way. If not that, then the allure of getting into the exclusive place had to hold some kind of want. "You'll thank me in the future, Kei~ Really. He's... really, I don't think he's that bad but you've proven me wrong dozens of times." And now it was too late to turn, as Kei parked and the two of them got out. Hopefully her partner's day wouldn't be too ruined. It would just be them, in nice clothes, asking begging for money. Okay, so maybe Kyoko was destroying her partner's sense of pride. But wasn't she already doing that with her shirt? Well, the younger woman couldn't say she didn't enjoy it. But it'll be well worth it. She'll see. Kyoko dragged Kei in by the sleeve. Into the building, up to the office. Upon entering the building, the cop remember just how incredibly rich this guy was. She might admit to staring some at just at the lobby with how spacious it was. And his office, his office was even worse. Thanks to the secretary, Kyoko didn't manage to get lost (she wouldn't put it past herself with the size of this place) on the way to his office, which was just fucking unbelievable. She barely managed out a "Hi Damien." before getting taken in by the sheer... fanciness of the office. It's even better than my own apartment what does that say. Then again, she shouldn't compare. Her apartment was crappy, and she hadn't quite cleaned it in ages. Two couches, a minibar... there was a minibar. It looked exactly like living space for a rich person. Not an office. Sort of like his own penthouse, though that was surely a lot more elaborate than this. But still she could just feel the envy radiating off of her. Was... was that really needed? So she felt a little out of place in this office. At least she had Kei with her, thank god. If she were just alone she couldn't imagine just what she would do awkwardly. Then came the problem of asking him for his money. Because really, people didn't just waltz up into rich people's offices and ask for money, not if they didn't have manners. Then he'll ask what it's for, and Kyoko was pretty sure she wasn't supposed to say anything about going on an undercover mission to an underground fighting rink to a civilian. Even if it was a civilian who was funding this particular mission. There was his safety, and her safety, not to mention Kei's safety on the line. So what could she do, blatantly lie and tell him that the two of them wanted access to a fighting rink, even then he'd think something was up because she was a cop. And he of all people knew that. On top of that she wasn't sure how much money was needed. It was on the paperwork, but when did Kyoko ever do the paperwork? Kei... would probably know, being the responsible one of the two. What was it, hundreds of dollars? Something super expensive. Here she was, just awkwardly standing there, trying to think of something to do. "Ah, I don't need a drink." I just need to your money, that's all. "Look, I know it's a bit sudden to ask you but, do you have some money just lying you could spare for the two of us? We could... really use it." Well, that was about all Kyoko could say without revealing too much about the case at hand.

As they walked into the office building, Kei had to admit that whoever it was that owned this place had to be a powerful person. Either that or they were made entirely of money. The extravagance of the front lobby reminded Kei of Las Vegas’ casinos because of the gaudy way it was decorated. And if the multitude of security guards out front were any indication, this person was either had secrets or enemies as well. Perhaps both; who knows? Kei did not know this person but she certainly was interested in meeting him. She wanted to know why Kyo would go to such lengths in order to impress him. It wasn’t everyday that her partner dressed this nicely, after all. Even if it was for money, there Kei did not see Kyo dress like this often and the fact that she would dress like this for some rich asshole bothered her to no end.
The secretary clearly knew that they were coming and quickly led them to the office of this mysterious man. Upon entering, Kei almost felt impressed. Almost. If it weren’t for how suspicious and biased she was feeling, she might have actually taken a moment to appreciate the interior decorating and the waterfall behind the Damien’s desk. Instead, she took her time scrutinizing the man named Damien – or at least that’s what Kyo called him – and trying to remain professional while she sat there attempting to emotionally support her partner.
Kei did not miss the surprised on the Asian man’s face nor did she miss the look he briefly directed at her chest. The Japanese woman wanted to scoff. Flash a pair of breasts and you could have someone’s attention so quickly it was laughable. It was disappointing too. Under different circumstances, Kei might have even admitted that the man was actually attractive. At the moment though, Kyo was more important.
Kei looked toward Kyoko as she asked Damien for the money. Kyoko was right to leave out the details about a police mission but Kei couldn’t help but feel that it was not worth the time, the effort, the stress. Her partner was clearly stressed and nervous. Something was going on and she didn’t like it at all.
”No, thank you,” Kei said in response to the drink. Not that there was anything else for her to say. She was here for Kyo to get the money and they would be gone. She could grill Kyoko about how she knew the guy later.

Damien blinked in surprise, “Money?” He echoed in disbelief, feeling slight disappointment, really? They were here for money? How....boring. Sure he was rich but he wasn't anyone's sugar daddy, especially not to the LAPD. So he gave a smile as he moved around the bar counter and began stirring himself something up to drink. “Well I could loan you as much as you want, but there are some rules you'll have to follow, at minimum I'm willing to lend you five million dollars no less then that, however I'll be including a twenty percent interest rate on top of that, so an additional million on top of that five.”
“I require a payment of at least ten percent each month, failure to make the payment on time, on the first of each month, will result in the interest rate to increase to thirty five percent over instead of the initial twenty as well as you to make a fifteen percent payment for each month from then on, you'd have about six months to a year to pay off the amount before I take you to court and finish it there.” Walking around he leaned his hip against the side of the bar as he swirled the Gin and Tonic in hand.
“I'll also need you to sign some paper work as a result of this so we have a physical proof of agreement, you know things like that for paper work so if I do forget about the loan I'm not wondering what happened to five million.” Plus it helped in the court when they failed to make payments. He was asking for them to pay him more money a month then they make in a year, it was the easiest way to make others broke.
He was a business man for a reason and if they wanted to have business with them, then he will deal business. Shame though he really liked Kyoko too, raising his glass to his lips he took a small sip, “Anything else you would like? If you require more money do know that the interest rates stay the same until you ask for fifteen million when has the interest rate increase to twenty five percent with a payment of twenty percent each month.” He gave them a smile, “Standard business proceeding. Just know that these rates I have set up cannot be haggled or dropped out completely nor replaced with another form of payment, you will hand me or deposit the money you owe and not a single cent less.”
Having the LAPD in his debt might be rather interesting...
“So how much do you need?”

If there was ever a time for swearing it was now. While Kyoko did expect some resistance and probably a difficult in paying money back, five million was just too much. Even she knew how horrible of a deal this was. Kei didn't have to even warn her about this. And now she found herself muttering a string of curses under her breath. "Kisama... fuck... that kusoyarou." She was losing her focus to actually swear in English. Kyoko really hoped that he heard her. "Ketsunoana." And she thought she had been angry before. Of course, she really should have expected something like this - why wasn't she surprised? She had no right to be angry, of course, but she still was. As much as she liked Damien as a person (and as a partner in bed), this was just, all semblance of nice thoughts and feelings were gone. Hell, she'd probably have chopped him in half while she was at it if she had her sword with her. Kei was probably the only thing keeping her within the boundaries of sanity right now. Still, a couple of other swears... couldn't hurt, could it? Actually, she probably wouldn't be done until she exhausted her knowledge of swears both Japanese and English. "Teme... Bastard. I can't even... Bakayarou. Kusoyarou. Konoyarou. You fucking aho. S-shine!" At this moment she was mostly pacing around the rather large office, trying to calm herself down to no avail. Honestly at this point it wouldn't matter to her if he really did just up and die. "Kuso! Shimatta! Chikuso! Fucking hell." Kyoko was really not pleased at the very least. "I lied. He's horrible." So Kyoko suffered from a bad case of not thinking things through, and this was just a glorious representation of this. She managed to collect some of her wits and ceased talking should any more unpleasant words direct at Damien come out. Nope. Just ceased talking, paced around a bit more, and then looked at Kei's chest to try to somehow calm herself down with the power of boobs. "Okay. I am calm. I am calm. That is what I am and I will remain calm." Deep breaths. "I'm s-not sorry." She couldn't even bring herself to apologize. Though she forced herself to look at Damien's direction. "I'm not rich, you know that right. I can't accept that." So that means no mission. Kyoko really wanted to dress up tonight too. "And five million... is asking for too much." Okay, next course of action would be to strip Kei and hope boobs would save the day. Then again, Kei would probably never forgive her if she did that. Maybe... if they still couldn't reach a compromise (he did say it couldn't be placed with another sort of payment, much to her dismay), she'd do that later. Because. She did really want to go on that mission. Because dressing up was nice. Well, maybe she could just dig through her closet and find something to wear that held some sort of semblance of nice clothes. Maybe she'll go over to Kei's house and sulk a little bit. That sounded like a fairly good plan. In an attempt to try to return to somewhat civil ground with Damien (she really didn't count on it), Kyoko started talking about random topics to get money - and business - off the table. "How is Kimiko? I heard you say something on the phone about her but I didn't quite catch it. I hope she's doing alright." God dammit she was still mad. She wasn't in her right mind. She just mentioned Kimiko in front of Kei, was she absolutely raving mad? Actually yes, she was absolutely raving mad. At Damien. Just about now.

This man was an utter asshole. Kei knew that she should have known better than to bring Kyo here, especially since they were pretty much begging for money. But no, against her better judgment, she got dressed up and came here in order to see if they could not take out a loan so that they could give Kyoko one night of happiness at being able to get dressed up. Damien may not have known that, but the fact that he would hand out such a deal to ordinary citizens was insane. Sadly, he hadn’t actually done anything illegal yet so Kei was unable to do anything more than glare at him.
Kei looked towards Kyoko. She was going to urge her to reject the deal and they would leave. However, it seemed that Kyo was already ahead of her and much angrier than Kei had given her credit for. The stream of Japanese and English swears that flowed from Kyoko’s mouth surprised even Kei. Never in her life had she ever heard Kyo swear like this towards another person. ”Kyoko…?”
By this point, Kyoko was pacing the expansive office in what Kei realized was an effort to calm herself down. ”Kyoko, I know he’s an asshole. Please calm down.” Kei’s words seemed to have little effect unfortunately and her partner just continued on her tirade. After a while, however, Kyo seemed to have calmed down enough to stop speaking. The older Japanese woman was startled when her partner suddenly looked in her direction but when she realized that Kyo was staring at her chest, well… Kei wasn’t sure what to think.
Kei watched as Kyoko continued to do all the talking. Kyoko may have been scatterbrained but at the very least she understood what kind of figures Damien was throwing out and how that was never going to work. Now that they had rejected his offer, she expected the two of them to leave and never return. Kei was planning on consoling Kyoko by taking her out to eat then maybe stay in for a girls’ night in. It’s such a shame that the good looking ones are all assholes, Kei finally admitted to herself.
What she did not expect was for Kyoko to sit down after she had calmed down and continue the conversation with Damien. And what surprised Kyoko even more was the topic they were discussing. Kei understood that they had their own lives, but after being partners for so many years and having a bond closer than most married couples, it came as a shock when she realized that there were things about Kyoko she never knew about. Or perhaps that was the wrong way to phrase it. If anything, Kei became worried and self-conscious that Kyoko no longer trusted her enough to tell her things anymore.
Kei looked from Kyoko to Damien and back again. ”Who’s Kimiko?”

Taking another sip from his glass he placed it on the counter, “That's exactly the point.” He said, looking at Kyoko in her stuttering rage. His visible eye was narrowed as he adjusted the cuffs on his suit, “I might be rich, but that doesn't mean I throw out money to whoever asks of it.” Growing up on the streets taught him how precious money was, a dollar could save a life or end it, “Especially since I won't KNOW where that money is going towards—and I highly doubt its to the local police funds, your chief would've never asked me.”
He smirked at the other woman calling him an asshole, “Welcome to the business world.” He greeted to her with an exaggerated bow. Oh she was going to be a little fire cracker wasn't she? Why was it the woman he came to know had this fiery side to them? It was wonderful in the bedroom but his luck couldn't be that bad.
But really what did they expect of him? They came to HIS office, after not seeing her for a couple of WEEKS and ask money of him? That was completely and utterly rude, and they think they have the right to be outraged at him for simply and quite loudly denying them the money they so desire? Oh he wouldn't be lying if he HOPED she would've agreed, it would've been fun to see how they would try and stay a float after that, but it was good to know she wasn't stupid.
He watched with a slight tilt of his head and Kyoko forced herself to calm down, rather impressive considering she was slipping into Japanese, he remembered causing her to do that previously for an entirely different reason. He was always a sucker for having people slip back into their native tongue, it was incredibly hot.
Though at her next question he raised a brow and looked between the two of them, “You mean Kyoko never told you...?” Oh this was just TOO delicious, looking over to Kyoko he smirked, “Kimiko is doing fine, she keeps asking about you though, saying and I quote, 'When will we be playing with the cute cop again? She was delicious to eat out, I might have an addiction'.”

"Don't worry about me, Kei, I'm fine, just pissed." Swearing might have been taking things a bit too far. She was aware she had never really gone on a tangent for this long on anybody really, Much less in front of Kei. It was probably worrying her. And she had to wonder why she usually hated business and paperwork. Right. For the most part she was fine now. "Forget it." The only thing she was currently lamenting about was the mission, but that could be easily remedied somehow. Probably. She had nice clothes in her closet, courtesy of her parents. Of course, it wouldn't have been on par as it would have been on the mission, but it'll do. So it was a little out of turn, and she expected that reaction. Kyoko really couldn't help herself with all the swearing, though. She really ought to apologize, but that didn't turn out as well as she had planned. But god dammit, she just dug her own grave right about now. "Nevermind I don't need to - shit." Okay. How can she salvage this situation. She never mentioned Kimiko because well, it just seemed wrong. To discuss certain relations to Kei was awkward. She didn't want to dig herself into that situation, but look where that ended up. "She's really no one important, just don't worry about it." That wasn't so much of a lie as a defectant. Kyoko just thought of it more like a... fling. She had lots of those, right? So it really was no big deal. No big deal. So, it had been when she was on the job, but that was just some tiny detail she didn't need to mention to her partner at all. Of course, Damien here being the fucking aho he is, messed that up fairly quickly. Kyo was sending him her best death glare before trying to clean up the situation. "So she's not dead, good to know - wait did she really enjoy it that much?" Kyoko was pleased, for the most part, that Kimiko enjoyed it. But no, this was not the time for this, she needed to repair her relationship with Kei, in which her partner must be feeling betrayed at the moment, right? Because Kyoko would feel that way if she were in this situation at the moment, even though that probably would have been improper seeing that they were just partners, right? "No that doesn't matter, Kei look it's really... not like that." She couldn't very well lie about the situation in front of a person who could very well prove she was lying. "I really hope you're enjoying yourself right now, you ass." At least she wasn't reverting back to Japanese, thank god. But she had better things to worry about than that. How could Kyoko get back to her partner's good graces? Would it take doing the paperwork? Because she would... she really would. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you, it was a couple of weeks ago." Yep, the time where her partner had to call her back to work. The timeline... oh god. Why did she have the need to explain, it's not like Kyoko was cheating on her, right? Yet the need to explain didn't go away. "I sort of... well, how do I say this..." Asshole, that was what he was. "Fling? I guess that's the word you use for that type of thing."

Kei did not like Damien’s shit eating grin. She did not like it one bit. It told her a lot like how there was definitely going to be drama and how he seemed to know more about Kyoko than she did. What came out of his mouth actually made her feel even worse if it was possible. ”Kimiko ate out Kyo…?” Kei echoed the statement. She really did not want to be hearing this from Damien of all people.
Kei looked toward her partner. She would be lying if she said she did not mind it. Of course she minded it. A part of her desperately hoped that Kyo would deny it. Kyo would never lie to her so whatever answer she gave Kei would trust. Instead of denying the fling ever happened like Kei wished, Kyoko not only confirmed what Damien said but even sounded pleased that Kimiko had enjoyed having sex her.
Keiko felt a surge of emotions within her ranging from betrayal to surprise. But why was she so surprised? Of course Kyoko had a sex life. Kyoko was a grown woman that could do whatever it was that she wanted. Kei herself had a sex life, albeit a very dry one as of late. Paperwork and overtime kept her from having a lot of leisure time and it’s not like she had any available people she could jump. You would think being bisexual gave you more option when in reality Kei really did not have that active of a sex life.
Kei didn’t care what Kyoko did but the fact that she kept it from her hurt a bit. And if anything, she had to admit that she was a bit jealous and resentful. Kei took such good care of those around her, she did her work, and she was responsible. Why did she not get to have a sex life? Kei put her hand on her head. ”Why is life so unfair,” she muttered. Kei looked back up and took a deep breath. It was silly that she was bothered by this. It would pass and she would be okay.
”Okay. Well I’m glad you had a good time,” Kei said to Kyoko. ”Honestly, I’m a bit jealous,” she admitted. ”I haven’t had time as of late.” Goodness, she needed a day off. Maybe go to a bar and pick up someone. It certainly beats this.

If anything, it was cute how they seemed to try and hide nothing from each other but as soon as one kept a secret it was like they just got betrayed. It was rather interesting, while Damien himself had nothing like they had, a bond that was clearly tight that was just borderlining a married couple, he did like to observe them, people were so fascinating. True there wasn't much of an explosion like he hoped there were but these girls were just defying all odd and steps he put about them.
If Damien wasn't turned on right now he'd be a liar.
He chuckled at Kyoko's bite towards him, “Oh yes, it does, my evil corporate heart feeds off telling others the truth.” Seriously he was probably NEVER going to sleep with Kyoko again nor her friend but damn if they weren't stirring his interest and wanting too. Guess he'll just have to settle for fantasy's over the authentic reality.
Reaching into his jacket he pulled out his pack of cigarette's before placing one of the cancer sticks on his lips before putting them back in the inside breast pocket. He was going to reach for his lighter next when a light buzzing noise could be heard. Frowning, he reached into his pants pockets and pulled out his phone, raising a brow at the number. Sliding it up he brought it to his ear, “Wei.”
“Ah! Da Min! Just the man I wanted to talk too!” Came the voice from the other end of the line speaking in Japanese. Damien closed his eyes and let out a frustrated sigh, “Fujimora-san, I thought I made it quite clear that I wasn't interested in doing business with you.” He spoke back in kind. Akira Fujimora, a man that came to America from Japan in the name of the Yakuza, had started a underground fighting arena in Lil Tokyo last he heard and was doing quite well, rich got bored easily and only the highest of class could enter.
Of course that didn't stop the man from calling Damien, not for the money, oh no, but for him to compete in it. As a Triad sales would BOOST from the knowledge but also having an unknown fighting, who was rich mind you, come in and fight with these so called best of the best it would sell just as well.
However Damien wasn't interested in Fujimora's deals, but that still didn't stop the man from calling and bugging him about it. Lightning up his cigarette, he sighed through his nose and rolled his eyes as he listened to the man, “And I told you, if I was going to step one foot into that little fight club of yours I want twenty percent of the sales you made. If you want me to actually be HELPFUL with you for that, then I want fifty.”
He took a drag before pulling the cigarette from his lips, “I'm young, Mr. Fujimora, not stupid, those are my terms or I don't appear.” As he began the old barting with the older Japanese man he slowly began to forget that there were two other women in the room with him. “Oh please.” He scoffed, “The Red Phoenix is not nearly as generous as I am.”

She's have cussed him out even more if she hadn't already done so, the smug bastard. "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to keep it from you it's just... well, we're partners, right? I don't think sharing our... personal lives is proper." Kyoko found him to be absolutely detestable at the moment and thinking to herself I fucking slept with this guy. Okay, what the hell was wrong with her. Sure, she had been rather sexually frustrated at the moment, but to be quite honest, she was on duty and she should have known better. And yes, Kimiko had been hot - not to mention naked - so how in the world could someone in their rational mind have been able to resist in the first place? Yet justification for these actions didn't really make the cop feel all that better. She still felt as though she had committed a horrible sin against her partner. "I'm sorry, I'll do all the paperwork, just don't stay mad at me." Because Kyoko wasn't really sure how she would be able to cope is Kei was mad at her. Of course, they've had a couple of rows with each other, but none so horrible as this. "Yes your evil corporate heart could have been a bit more delicate and less revealing." Kyoko did not appreciate the man's sarcasm right about now. Maybe she would have found it comical and a bit funny in another circumstance but not this one. Though she managed to drag herself out of her current self loathing at the spoken words of Damien, currently on the phone. In Japanese. So how could she help not eavesdrop? It was in her native tongue anyways, and she was curious. What was it about business? And what was it about Fujimora, too? That name was familiar. As in, incredibly familiar. Isn't that the man we're investigating? Kyoko couldn't even ask Kei right about now. Yeah it is, isn't it? She listened in more. Fighting club... Underground fight club? "Damien, a fighting club?" She was pretty sure she wasn't supposed to be hearing any of this. Those weren't exactly legal, though wasn't he aware that the two cops in his presense could understand Japanese? "Does it happen to be... today, tonight?" God, how was she supposed to phrase this? She decided it was probably concerning the fight club they were supposed to be investigating. "Can me and Kei come with? Please?" So, she decided to ignore the huge red warning sign that came with the dialogue that perhaps he was not the most upstanding of citizens (what was this about the Red Phoenix, because that seemed really suspicious), but if he could get the two of them into that fight club, she would (quite unfortunately) be indebted to him. "I'll be forever grateful." Really did the 180 right about now, but if he could get them in, well, that was the main goal in this whole thing, right? "So please?"
so i posted on the wrong account oops and since neither of you are on i'm ninja editing it to be longerish

”Yeah, of course.” Kei supposed that Kyoko was right on that. They were partners. As much as they trusted each other, there was no point in having to divulge everything. If anything, Kei was seriously overreacting to the situation. Kyoko had a sex life and it was none of her business. Kei calmed herself down with that knowledge and smiled a bit. She never expected to see the day when Kyoko would be the more rational one and it would be Kei that lost her cool. Well there was a first time for everything she supposed.
”It’s alright, Kyo. I’m not mad,” Kei said with a small smile.
I’m just a bit disappointed since I thought we were closer than that but I understand, was what she was thinking but Kei, could never actually say that to Kyo. At least, not in the office of some hotshot businessman who just crushed Kyoko’s hopes and dreams of being able to dress up.
”And please don’t touch the paperwork. I finished it already so you don’t have to do it.” And if Kei were really honest to herself, she just didn’t want Kyoko making any mistakes. That only caused more work for her in the long run.
”Well Kyoko, shall we get go- Fighting club?’ And like that, their attentions were once again off each other and back to Damien who was speaking on the phone with someone in Japanese, much to Kei’s surprise. She could have sworn that Damien looked more Chinese than Japanese. Goodness, she really was losing it today.
”Kyoko, are you really sure it’s a good idea for him to bring us to a fighting ring?” Kei always did indulge Kyoko in the things that she wanted but this was a bit insane. First of all, what kind of person would ask a citizen to bring them to a fighting ring? They were the LAPD. They did let some people go and do underhanded things to solve crimes but this was a bit much. And besides, this was supposed to be an undercover mission. Getting to dress up for once was supposed to be a bonus; they still had their jobs to do and bringing Damien (or the other way around) could hinder them. And although Damien did reject the offer from the person on the phone, Kei briefly wondered what kind of person he was to get invited to an underground fighting ring of all things. Well he was rich, Kei thought to herself. Money can take you far…
”I know you really wanted to get dressed up, but I don’t think this is a good idea.”

He stopped in the middle of a sentence as Kyoko spoke. Fuck he forgot that they were in the room with him and that they could understand him, very sloppy on his half and very stupid of him. But it was her words the made him look over his shoulder towards them, his brows furrowed in confusion. She wanted to go...to the fighting club...oh you were kidding.
“Thrity five percent.” He spoke into the phone cutting the other man off, “I will go if you give me thrity five percent of the earnings, half from yesterday and the last half after the night is done, have it despoited by five if you hope for me to appear—and yes that covers the ring fee until I am bored.” Not even listening to the other male, he hung up before turning back towards the girls, “You're going to go there to shut it down aren't you?” He really didn't have to question it, it was rather OBVIOUS, why else would she just suddenly have an interest in a fight club?
Well this presented a nice opportunity, after all Fujimora was a thorn in his side, try to move into his territory as it is, questioning his honor wanting him to fight just so he could kill him and make it seem like an accident. There really wasn't a down side to him assisting them taking down Fujimora, it would be a big enough blow to the upper Yakuza to make them stay away from America for a bit.
“Well then, whether you like it or not, mostly not, I'm going to have to help you with this.” He said with a sigh, you can dress people up in fancy clothing but its reputation that matters the most and as a young business bigwig from China, he had that. Heading towards the door he motioned for them to follow him, “Come on, I know a tailor that can give you dresses to mingle in with the rich crowd we're going to be in.”
Also to help highlight their figures. Sure they cost a pretty penny but the tailor KNEW how to do their job and would have the dress ready within the hour.

Although Kyoko knew that her partner wouldn't lie to her (now would she?), she couldn't really fight off the feeling that she had just lost some credibility and trust on her part. And Kyoko refused to believe that Kei wasn't mad in some form - she didn't appear to be mad, but she had always appeared to be aloof and distant for the most part, so Kyoko never knew. Still, she was worried. If she didn't do the paperwork (letting her do the paperwork was probably a bad idea in the first place, if she was perfectly honest with herself), then what else could she do to make Kei happy? Spend more personal time with her? Take extra shifts? There really wasn't much left for her to do? Oh, maybe Kyoko could... no that wouldn't work either. Well, Kyoko did attempt to get them into the fighting rink - well, if Damien agreed, that is - so maybe that had to count for something? Though why the man would even be invited - and talking about sales - was up to question. Sure, Damien was rich, as anyone could tell by the state of his office and his home. The five million dollar loan deal ensured that he probably had more pocket money than she had in salary. But still, his words were a bit more incriminating than Kyoko would have preferred out of someone she knew personally. Honestly, he made it sound like he was doing business with a gang, and that he was part of one himself. Well, he probably was negociating with the Yakuza, but then again it was just... business, right? Had to be it. Kyoko would just completely erase the drug investigation from her mind. Didn't exist. He had to be an alrighr guy, just stupid rich, right? She couldn't have been so mistaken. All suspicions aside, Kyoko felt just a bit of satisfaction as she listening to the next part of the conversation. Damien really was going to help her. This was a good thing, she reminded herself. "But Kei, he's already helping us. Besides, it'll be fun. Please? Pleaseee? Onegai~" Her argument really wasn't all that good. It wasn't a good idea at the very least. He was a civilian and really they shouldn't be involving civilians in these things. Which was why she hadn't said anything about what they would actually be doing there. However... he was already negotiating, so why not? "Shut it down? Whatever do you mean?" Even those words to herself sounded sickeningly sweet and was an obvious lie. Kyoko already knew that it was pretty obvious anyways, but if she didn't say anything, she wouldn't actually be breaking too many rules involving him. Besides, he was one of the only ways they could access the fighting ring. To be honest she wasn't sure why Damien would even agree to this in the first place. Weren't they... business associates? Obviously something must be going on if he was going to let her come on the premise of shutting it down. "Well, it doesn't look like we have much of a choice now Kei." Kyoko sounded much too cheerful about this. So maybe there was a smidgen of guilt for making Damien take care of their less than appropriate attire. The money problem was arising and Kyoko wasn't sure if she should bring it up again in the case that he'd go off about loans that she couldn't agree to. So she went with the more subtle approach. "Are you sure this is alright?"

Kei had to smile when Damien suddenly paused mid phone conversation and looked over at them. It was good to know that even a big shot like him had his moments where he messed up. And now that Kyoko had caught wind that he was going, there was no way she was going to let it go until Kyo had exhausted all options. It took patience to be with Kyoko sometimes, although Kei wouldn’t trade any of it for another partner. They had been together for years. Nothing was going to change that now… even if Kei still felt the faint, bitter sting of betrayal from something that she realized Kyo had every right to do. If anything, she was more embarrassed at having reacted in such a way. If Kyo did not want to share, there was no need to. Surprisingly, Kyoko did not need to beg as much as Kei anticipated before Damien agreed to take them. That was suspicious… He had vehemently rejected any invitation to go and all of a sudden something made him turn around and say it was okay? Kei called bullshit on that one. Unfortunately or perhaps fortunately, he was not the one they were targeting and since he was getting them into the fighting ring, she would have to let it slide. Kei got up and followed Damien through the building and into the parking lot where they were able to ride in one of Damien’s expensive cars. From there, the expensive and overly luxurious car brought them to a store that Kei would never even dare look at with the salary she was making. The next bit was a blur, but Kei briefly remembered being looked over once and then dragged away from Damien and Kyoko to a dressing room where a dress was handed to her so she could quickly change. Kei’s protests were drowned out by the staff and, well, everyone else. Sighing in defeat, Kei changed out of her clothes and into the tight fitting, but beautiful white dress that complimented her body. The dress was short, thankfully, allowing Kei to be able to run in it. A slit at the bust showed off her chest and cleavage. Unfortunately, the dress left little room for concealing weapons not that Kei expected to be able to smuggle any in there. At most, she needed to at least be able to hide a recorder so she could get some incriminating evidence. Perhaps strapped to her inner thigh if the device was small enough… Kei stepped out of the dressing room to meet Kyoko and Damien. She had to admit, it did feel nice to dress up once in a while. She felt good with the dress on. Maybe this wasn’t as bad as she thought it was going to be.

Luckily for him they followed him with minimum complaints, thank the gods, as Damien focused more on his phone, talking to the tailor telling him they were making a surprise visit. He was good about it, bless the man, always smiling and always eager to help with the finest of threads and silks in the world. He was amazing at his job and Damien had no complaints.
Arriving, he led the girls in, “Monsieur Damien!” Came the cry as the man ran towards him, Damien himself laughed as he shook his hand, “Its good to see you Andy.” He said in french to which the man grinned back, “Its been farrrrrr too long since your last visit! When I heard you on the phone I just dropped my current to meet you straight away!” He glanced over Damien's shoulder to the two women behind him, “More dates to impress?”
Damien let out another laugh, “More or less, I'm taking them to a rather fancy place and I need proper dresses for them and you are the best there is Andy.”
The frenchman hit Damien's shoulder muttering on how he as such a flatterer before moving towards the two girl and humming, “Well then let's get started shall we?” He said in English this time to them both as he looked them both over, “Hmm you have a nice full chest and slender figure, and white would definitely be perfect on you.” That was towards Kei before he looked over Kyoko, “You have wonderful hips, I can only assume your ass is just perfection based on them, dark blue or a navy color would match you better...” Andy hummed before clapping his hands together as the girls were led away to try on numerous of dressed until the right one was found before he turned his attention back to Damien who smiled back.
“Now, you mister.” He said in a false angry voice, “You need a new suit.”
Damien raised a brow in amusement, “Why? This one I have is perfectly fine. You made it if I remember correctly.” Andy released a small noise of frustration, “Yes I made that but its a year old and SOOO out of style, now get up on that platform so I can take you measurements and make a new one.” Shaking his head in amusement Damien did as he was told. Stripping out of his jacket to the plain white shirt he had underneath.
He was just getting his chest measured when the girls reappeared and Damien let out an appreciative whistle, “Very nice...” He let his eyes roll over their form before focusing back on Andy, “You still have some make artists here? They just need a little touch up, too much makeup would ruin their natural beauty.” He told the tailor who nodded his head in understanding, “Why of course just let me page them.” Andy pulled away from Damien and pressed a small button that was on his belt before looking at the girls, “Everything alright? Any area that's too tight or too loose?”

Kyoko would be lying if she said she wasn't absolutely pleased with herself at the moment. Okay, so it hadn't gone quite as she had expected, but the end result ended in the two of them getting exactly what they came here for - an entrance to the fighting ring. So she was content, she would be able to dress up in fancy clothes and what could possibly make her even happier? Well, there were a few things, but she pushed them to the back of her mind. Why ruin the mood thinking of them? Dressing up was half (well, probably more than half) the fun. So all along the car ride in the probably insanely expensive vehicle, Kyoko was giddy with excitement in her seat. She half gave herself a moment to wonder just what was up, before she was whisked away to try on different dresses. Ah, she loved being complimented, because compared to Kei there she usually was overlooked (not that she particularly minded, of course). Kyoko had no assets when it came to her chest, there was barely anything there (curse of the asian, but sometimes Kyoko wondered why Kei had such huge breasts and what her secret was), but at least she had a nice ass if anything. A couple hundred dresses later she appeared out of the dressing room with this dress, though she was a bit dismayed with the lack of material for her to hide anything in. At least she could move around somewhat freely, depending if she wanted anyone to see what was underneath the bottom part of the dress. "Kei~ You look so nice!" Kyoko gave her partner a once-over, legs, dressed, chest that was brought out by that slit where she may have lingered her eyes too long, and all. The only thing missing was the make up. Which Damien thought to cover way before the cop could say anything about it. "The dress is perfect for you! And everything's fine, of course." Though by that time she was wisked away to do her make up. It was always fun to do things like this, though really, she could have done her own make up. Then again, she should probably leave it to the experts - they knew what they were doing, and Kyoko really hadn't bothered with make up much save for little formal events. Once she was done, she had to play the waiting game. The waiting game for Kei and Damien. Because god damn it if she wasn't impatient.
orz not even sure if that's the right link it was copy paste so i assumed. it's late i'm kinda tired
