[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] With a petite frame and an ever-present smile, this girl is the epitome of sweetness. No one could ever look at her and think of her as anything but happy, unless unlucky enough to catch her on one of her depressive slumps. Her long blue hair is always beautifully combed out and flows behind her in the slightest breeze, and her eyes sparkle with a certain innocence. Standing in at a mere 5' 1" and weighing 128lbs, Skyler could easily pass for fifteen, especially considering her baby face. The girl has great posture and her emotions are easily readable through her eyes. A childish fashion sense begets even more reason to mistake her for younger than she is with flowers, miniskirts, dresses and bright colors making up the bulk of it. Skyler has a light, peachy skin tone and doesn't tan easily (in order to, she has to burn first). She doesn't wear any jewelry aside from a cedar tree necklace that she never takes off. Other accessories will all be flower based and will more than likely be color coded to go with her outfit at the time. With soft features and such an expressive clothing sense, she can at times throw even the most hardened of criminals off their game.

[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] ► LIKES: ✓ Flowers ✓ Family ✓ Lively Festivals ✓ Being Happy ✓ The Color Blue ✓ Fun People ✓ Perfume/Cologne ► DISLIKES: × Depressing Situations × Grumpy People × Killjoys × Cloudy Days × Snow × The Cold × Seafood Staying true to her surname, Skyler proves to be flighty as a bird. Nothing can keep her attention for long, and she is easily confused (though she tries her best to pretend that she isn't). Though naive in many ways, she is surprisingly mature in others. A friend's secrets are greedily kept and she will never turn her back on anyone Unfortunately though, Skyler couldn't lie to save her life, let alone to protect a secret (but it can be kind of cute to watch her try). In all honesty, she is a total goodie-two-shoes, but if upset, she can surprise you. Typically, in a conversation, she blabs on and on about how great the weather is (even if it isn't), spurts compliments like they're going out of style, and asks questions out the wazoo. These factors make her out to be an idiotic pest, but she has intelligence where it counts, and the ways of the heart come naturally to her, as they do to most women Incredibly kind and amusingly ditsy, this girl warms the hearts of most who meet her. Her frequent questions might get on the nerves of many, but she makes amends for that with her oh-so-forgivable nature. Skyler is so clueless a majority of the time that she doesn't even notice she's annoying people. Oddly enough, though, if snapped at or told to shut-up, she will do just that, obediently. Her feelings aren't easily hurt. Quick to get her hopes up, Skyler is typically an optimist, but can prove to be rather cynical in a bad situation. The smallest bit of good news raises her spirits to their highest, and the tiniest shrivel of the bad kind slumps her into depression. But, though she is unstable, she loves nothing more than to hear someone else's troubles and be able to help them.
[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] History
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] Skyler actually wasn't born in Los Angeles, but was raised in the state of Ohio and never had any desire to leave. The world never struck her as harsh or scary during her childhood, but she led a relatively sheltered life, and was blind to it all. Living alone with her father, she was home schooled a majority of her years, never getting the chance to really mingle with those in her own age group. That never seemed to bother Skyler, however, as she seemed to be at her happiest when chatting with family. She had a very tight relationship with all of her family members, her father and grandmother especially. When the high school years rolled around, her father thought it would be best that she start to get some social skills, so he stopped the home schooling fruitiness and sent her out into the world for the first time. Skylar mostly kept to herself, not wanting to attract unwanted or unnecessary attention. For the most part, the whole experience went smoothly. Any bullying was minimal, and her worst experiences could be chalked up to Cs on report cards and bad lunches on Fridays. Skyler never knew a hard day in her life... Until her grandmother died. That woman was the glue keeping the whole family together. When she passed, everyone drifted apart. Skyler was devastated that not only had she lost the person she respected most in the world, but everyone else who she had known and loved, in the process. It took her a while to recover, but in time, she was her usual self again. Her father had fallen in love and married, moving to L.A to be with her. Skyler didn't mind the move much. There wasn't much left to leave in Ohio. All the good memories had come and gone, so she thought of the move as a chance to make some new ones, and hoped that she wouldn't have to endure another tragedy like that one for a while. Since arriving in California, Skyler has gotten herself acquainted with the sights and sounds, though it did take her a while. She had decided while still in school that she wanted to get into an artistic career, as she had always loved drawing, but her skills weren't on par with anyone else's when it came to that. She settled on working with more simplified art and turned to graphic design after being accepted into The University of California. Little logos and designs were her forte and she could really see herself excelling in that field. College life proved to be even easier than high school. With all of the added freedom and options, she could do anything she wanted. She make the most of it, but sometimes came to school in a dulled down mood thanks to her step-mother. Due to Skyler's not having a job, that woman had really been cracking down on her as far as housework went and she wouldn't stop pestering the poor girl. Skyler learned to brush her off for the most part, but there are some things you just can't ignore. Job searches always ended in failure, it was just a matter of 'when'. Be it after three interview, or after the first application, Skyler knew she'd be turned down no matter the job she was applying for. With no experience, she wasn't exactly the smartest of investments for a company to make. After a while, she gave up and began strolling around the city when she told her parents she was searching for work. School was going well, and she could get a great job after it was all over... Right?
