Cassidy moved to LA during the summer of ’11, there she reunited with her brother and was able to stick with him in his apartment outside of campus. Due to her guilt from leeching off Dean, Cassidy has been desperately looking for a job in order to pay him back since then. With many chances gone and lost, as well as others not too impressed with her interviews, Cassidy has been jobless for some months now; however, the New Year came and went and so far she’s back to her intense job hunt. Though on a side note, she acts as a somewhat of a housekeeper as well as an errand-girl for her brother so the guilt of staying there, without having to pay, lifted from her worries (for the most part).

Cassidy can be described as the typical sister. With soft eyes and a bright expression, Cassidy’s a very approachable girl. Born with a kind heart and COMPASSION
[/i] at her side, she’s definitely one to ask questions first in any given situation. Giving people the benefit of the doubt is one of her strengths and weaknesses. Though the woman hasn’t had the worst happen to her, she’s been through her version of tough times and can grow to understand another’s. She’s very EMPATHETIC[/i] to the point of even shedding tears if she felt sad, happy, or even mad enough for a given person. Some would even call her OVEREMOTIONAL[/i].Due to her strong history of breaking fights (sometimes succeeding, sometimes not)—the power of the neutral party--as well as being used to such bickering, Cassidy’s TOLERANCE[/i] of others can outmatch the average Joe. She has a high level of attitude liberalism, an allowance of certain behavior, beliefs and values of her peers and strangers. Just because someone appears to be a bully or loud and obnoxious, Cassidy is able to push all that aside and attempt to truly get to know someone without the intention of changing said person (this could end with Cassidy submitting herself to the wrong crowd). However tolerance wasn’t the only attribute gained from being a part of the neutral party, but also awoke the dimension of her INDECISIVE[/i] quality. Trying not to favor either party and allow things to play out before intervention is ideal to her. When it comes to being given an ultimatum, she would act with hesitation and take time to think over her decision (even if the answer appears to be blatantly clear).Cassidy finds comfort in others which shows her greatest characteristic, DEPEDENCY[/i]. The woman is very dependent on those around her, either a friend or just a crowded place, for emotional equilibrium rather than materialistic gain.
In conclusion Cassidy is a nice, kind hearted lady who—because of her dependency—spends most of her time outdoors in the most crowded places (perhaps the mall during the day or a café/club at night) either striking a conversation or simply blending herself with others. Without the comfort of an outside source, Cassidy has quite the emotional instability—small situations soon grow dire with anxiety or may even produce unnecessary tears/ fits. (For Cassidy she uses the separation from her brother, and the prior fights, as the reason this overemotional side of her awoken). Cassidy tries her hardest to remain neutral in situations often appearing to “ignore” the argument at hand and allows things to work on their own, but if she were to be brought into a decision between both sides—the choice wouldn’t be made easily and would often awake her indecisive side. Other than that her tolerance coupled with her compassion allows her to have a broad range of friendships despite how mean some of them may look.

A twin’s life will always be a wonder. There wasn’t a time that Cassidy wouldn’t have her brother’s back. With minds almost telepathic in their conversations, empathetic in their pain and emotions, Cassidy and Dean were not only identical siblings but the best of friends. This bond was stronger than anything imaginable and could only be tested if either twin faltered. Sure the twins had their disputes but they hardly ever mattered, grudges were never held and guilt got the best of them in any argument. It felt to Cassidy as if nothing would ever break her and Dean apart…
Born and raised in a broken family, the twins only ever knew one parent: their mother, Abigail. When they were old enough it was explained (over a drunken conversation) how their father was disguised as just a fling/ customer, but in truth their mother was in love and was heartbroken when he rejected her so many weeks pregnant. Despite that, the family grew strong struggled at times but strong. They lived near the “Mini Red Light District” Las Vegas, NV on a little street called Sahara. Abigail pursued her job in the nightlife as an erotic dancer for a gentleman’s club, while during the day she worked as a cashier for the closest grocery store. Finance issues were not bad for the early years, Abigail made sure to keep her body as fit as possible in order to attract the most customers, but before she knew it the young ones needed school funds that she just didn’t have. In a torn decision Abigail decided to send Dean to school first, leaving Cassidy behind. This was kindergarten so Cassidy wasn’t crestfallen, in all honesty she had no idea what was going on except she was able to spend more time with her mother. That was a plus.
Cassidy and her mother formed a very tight bond. Abigail took Cassidy to her morning job every day, then when it was time to pick up Dean from school Cassidy then had time to form a relationship with her brother since they were left while their mother was busy at her night job. The two were clueless as to why their mother was gone so much at night but other than the sleepless nights for Abigail and a somewhat messy house, no questions were asked and everything was fine.
Eventually Cassidy was able to start up school, she skipped kindergarten but even with that was still a year behind her brother. While Dean situated himself with school activities and studies, Cassidy wasn’t so academically driven but more so by those she met in school. The young adolescent was keen on meeting new people, making friends, and simply having fun. She definitely was a social butterfly compared to her calm and collected brother, but the two still had the most fun with each other rather than anyone else they ever met. It was cute, while Dean was great at almost everything he did Cassidy didn’t take it upon herself to be jealous or hateful towards her brother but rather remained his biggest fan. (At that time Cassidy took to little hobbies such as knitting and sewing in order to dress her brother for success, however her skill hardly surpassed the average scarf, gloves, and sweaters… she had the desire to learn more though).
Years went by and Abigail finally had quit her job at the nightclub. Dean was just starting high school while Cassidy struggled behind. The happy family suddenly hit a standstill. Finances, countless boyfriends, a taste for alcohol, almost everything that possibly could’ve hit rock bottom for Abigail had it; and as much as Cassidy simply wanted her mother happy, she had allowed her to do what she wanted while Dean had a different approach and took matters into his own hands. Shouts. Fights. Suddenly Dean was always at Abigail’s throat, mainly about the various men (he hated to see his mother like that), but when booze became a problem (with his sister’s safety as well as his own in mind) he nearly lost it.
Though the fights were rough at home, school life remained as Cassidy’s only normal escape. Cassidy never was the brightest in school, her brother always topped the academic charts, but she enjoyed the peace. Drama had always lurked, don’t forget this was high school, but at least Cassidy could learn from her friends’ advice on the situation, but even then nothing was harder to watch for Cassidy than to see her brother and Abigail shouting and crying at each other. She remained silent during the fights not because she was frightened or cowardly but because she genuinely wanted them happy and had no idea of how to approach it. Months passed before she was able to gather the courage to be able to step in between and lay down the line “That’s enough!” To her surprise and satisfaction, her intrusion stopped the fight that night and was able to keep the peace for some nights after that.
As time slowly moved on life at home became more awkward. Dinners were separated to different rooms, no one spoke a word to the other, and all-in-all simply more depression. Cassidy accepted the challenge to take matters into her own hands and began to talk to her brother and her mother discretely. Sadly at that time Cassidy had no idea that matters were only going to get worse. In this conversational approach she was able to learn a great deal more about her brother and his feelings along with Abigail’s and not only her feelings but more of her past, of their father, and of how it was raising her and Dean.
Dean was pure at heart, he believed things were fine before Abigail brought “unwanted company” back home and grew defensive when she did, he wanted nothing other than to protect their old lifestyle along with Cassidy (since he knew how strong a relationship his sister had with their mother). Abigail on the other hand… was a mess. Depressed with her loneliness, disgusted with who she was, instead of grasping onto her children as hope she was swallowed in her despair. Cassidy dedicated her time to her mother in order to turn things around and for the most part things began to look better but one night ended it all.
It was Dean’s senior year. His relationship with Abigail was a bit rocky, but Cassidy glued the two together strong enough so that they would at least be in the same room with each other without swearing. Beginning senior year was a rough start, Dean usually lost himself in school and wouldn’t return till late at night which of course had no effect on Abigail, but it pained Cassidy. She wanted him to be home on schedule so that they could have quality family time, perhaps cook dinner together or watch a show as a family. Then when he would make the attempt to be home early, Abigail would’ve opened the bottle at the same time and make unnecessary comments. Cassidy wouldn’t take sides, but still attempted to savor the time they had together. Once senior year closed, and just before Dean’s graduation ceremony to be exact, Abigail made a nasty comment towards Dean about “how he reminded her of their father”.
To Dean that was the worst insult and in spontaneous rage shouted, “That’s it. I’ve had enough of this pathetic excuse of a mother. You’re a drunk, a whore, and deserve nothing more than to live knowing that I’ll make something of myself and will never, ever think of you again.”
Those words still burn Cassidy’s memory for that was the day her world ended. With a final slap across Dean’s cheek from Abigail accompanied by shouts and tears, Dean made it very clear that his intentions were to take Cassidy and leave for good after graduation. He had a full paid scholarship to UCLA. For Cassidy her world had cracked into a million pieces, how was she to decide? To leave her mother in the state she was in? Or to stay and possibly hurt her relationship with her brother? Cassidy had remained neutral, the family referee, but then she had to make the toughest verdict of her life and as she side stepped towards her trembling mother and glanced back towards Dean, her decision was clear. Cassidy stayed with her mother in Las Vegas.
Cassidy finished her senior year in Las Vegas with little to no communication with Dean. Abigail had made a complete 180 since her last fight with Dean. She had a job she was proud of and was in a steady relationship, and though Cassidy was ecstatic for her mother it felt to Cassidy that a piece of her was missing and so wasn’t able to express her complete happiness. The new and improved Abigail was a great image but it saddened Cassidy that her brother wasn’t able to see the transformation (it saddened her period to not be able to see her twin for so long) and as graduation for Cassidy slowly came to its end she quickly packed her bags and bought a one-way ticket to LA that same summer.
LA was her destination, Dean was her goal. She wanted so desperately to fill that void in her heart, to see Dean after so long. She wandered, would he want to see her too? Would he be mad? Would he be happy? What could she do for him? What would happen? So many unanswered questions yet she still made the trip.

Cassidy does in fact wear glasses but only on required occasions such as reading things up close, etc. She has a case of farsightedness that's not too extreme but in order to read (without squinting and even then that doesn't do the trick) certain signs, books, and to even see people (perfectly) she'll whip that bad boy out with pride. Her glasses are a dull style that imitate the "Librarian" look.
Also she can knit/sew/ do alterations and spends most of her time doing so.
