Leon woke up a little out of breath. He woke up and, as per usual, Theo was not here. Then again, he had probably been kicking and panting and trying to run while sleeping, so he couldn't blame his brother for leaving. Four days after the terrifyingly huge bug incident and he was still perhaps a little scared. But he didn't let it get to him. Glancing at the clock it revealed he had woken up at an insanely early time. Six in the morning and sure, the sun had risen, but he was not used to this time at all. Still, he wasn't envisioning himself going back to sleep anytime soon so he figured he'd get up, and maybe go shopping. Shopping for hair products would get his mind off of things for sure! So he did his usual thirty minute hair styling in front of the mirror and went on his way to borrow steal the car.
He went to the mall. He shopped. And perhaps he had gone a little bit overboard. He made three trips from the shopping center to his car his duration of shopping and maybe, just maybe, he had a problem. After all, Leon had just stocked up on his favorite hair gel two weeks ago. And in his tow were probably like ten bags of miscellaneous things he thought were cute, fluffy, or hair products. In fact, half of it was probably hair products. Okay. He had a problem. But he couldn't just return it - it was really good quality!
And that was where he found himself now. Leon had planned to perhaps discreetly take the bags up and hide them in his room. It would hide his purchases for a little while, until someone came in and found him out. But that was probably not possible. Even with as many bags as he could hold, he'd probably have to make three trips up and down the elevator and to the penthouse. It wasn't gonna work out. He pouted to himself. But still, he unloaded maybe 4 bags and grumbled a bit. Maybe he could get hotel staff to help him or something.

It was about time for Adeline to begin her job search. While she had no problems cruising through her life aimlessly helping others with random mundane issues in their lives. Unfortunately her parents will not tolerate this genre of lifestyle. And unless she wanted to risk getting kicked out of the house, which wouldn't be very convenient for her at this point in life, it looked like she will have to find something to preoccupy her time. Of course looking like a total slob on a job search wouldn't be very intelligent so Adeline did put some effort into coordinating her look today, which meant a plain grey t-shirt and a long beige maxi skirt... Ok. She'll admit, she didn't try very hard and only bothered to comb through her hair once before tying it up into a messy pony tail, it was still a much bigger show of effort than her usual routine. With her purse stuffed with a stack of CVs, Adeline began the early hours of the day handing as many out as she could.
Sadly for Adeline, there was something, or rather someone, that had distracted her from the task of job hunting. A man dressed in flashy clothes and stylish hair. Honestly, Adeline thought it was annoying to look at, especially for Adeline who gave up on vanity in the hectic years of puberty. But his showy appearance mattered little to Adeline. What drew her attention to him was the fact he was trying to wrestle a copious amount of bags out of his car at once, and seemed to be proving quite difficult. He seemed to be having a dilemma. And Adeline, liked to stick her nose into other people's problems, no matter how petty or idiotic they may look. So it was only natural for her to abandon her job hunting mission and approach this stranger and ask, her voice surprisingly monotone, "Do you need help with that?"

Subtlety was not Leon's strong point. In fact, he was literally two steps away from making a complete scene. Not that he wasn't drawing attention to himself. Which was sort of a bad thing, even if he did like the attention. As he had learned probably several times, attention was sometimes really annoying. But he still loved it anyways. Although, he was trying to find some sense of incognito with these bags. Dramatically dragging the bags as though they were the heaviest weights he had ever lifted (he didn't really lift weights either, well, not at all actually), he started on the long trek from the trunk of the car towards the hotel doors.
Well, to be quite honest, he didn't even start. He maybe took two steps (or three, at least three!) towards the door and a woman offered to help. A little shabby looking, and that monstrosity of hair! Leon looked in near-horror at the hair. Although perhaps it might be up to some people's standards, Leon's were ridiculously high and it was an understatement to say that he was utterly appalled. But he didn't let it get to him, after all, hadn't she offered him help? And of course, it must have been because he was absolutely dashing - or maybe because he was having so much trouble and going about it showcasing his trouble. Not many strangers would help a complete stranger such as himself so he drew the conclusion - she obviously worked here!
"Yeah, if you don't mind! Here." Leon promptly handed her all of the bags in his possession, minus the six or so still sitting about in the trunk. Maybe, just maybe, it would have been better if he took a couple of bags himself to make less trips but he figured since this was (probably) hired help she could just do it all by herself. Plus, Leon had been walking around for quite a while and he didn't want to be carrying anything anymore. Well, not for a while. "There's more in the trunk but let's take care of these first. Let's go!" He grabbed her arm and tried not to have her drop the bags and led her towards the hotel, and subsequently, the elevator. "Top floor!"

The first expression painted across the man's face as he looked upon the tall blonde was disgust. Was her face really that appalling? She didn't know and didn't really care, although for a moment she was expecting for him to tell her, which wouldn't have been too odd, especially after he'd just been offered free help from a stranger. Really it would have been a normal reaction. But instead when he accepted her aid a moment after and he was suddenly unloading all the bags he was carrying onto her.
At first a bit stunned, Adeline struggled to receive all the bags. Inside them was a kaleidoscope of products she didn't recognize but whatever it was, it was pretty heavy. Thankfully Adeline was no stranger to carrying around heavy loads for others so it wasn't too much of a trouble. Plus her strange addiction needed fulfilling, and if that meant straining her body then she would do it. Of course that still didn't stop from blinking strangely at the man when he informed her there was still more in the car. Well she supposed it wasn't any of her business. And she will help him until he didn't need her anymore.
Before she knew it, the man was barking orders at her and tugging at her arm and leading her towards the hotel elevator. "Please. Keep your hands to yourself. I have your bags." She said sharply. Shrugging him off as she could while the glossy elevator doors opened to welcome them in. If it wasn't already evident by his gaudy clothes and bossy behaviour, it was obvious he had quite a bit of money to his name. Still it didn't give him the rights to pull and tug on her as he pleased. Thankfully Adeline was equipped with an ocean lengthened patience needed to deal with these annoying personality types and did not allow her own biases to cloud her mind from the task at hand.
During the idle wait of riding the elevator up the floors, Adeline took a chance to peek at the contents of the bags she was carrying. Everything just looked foreign to her. But upon closer inspection it appeared that a good majority were hair products. "Unbelievable." She uttered. It was really none of her business but seriously? It was still quite a ridiculous sight. Quietly she wondered if all these products were just for the man himself. There's no way a single person could use up all this right?

Would the hotel mind too terribly if he borrowed one of their staff to go on another unprecedented shopping trip? Or eat ice cream together? Or just keep him company as he dragged them all around the city to do a bunch of sightseeing? Leon sure hoped so. Although the woman had so kindly offered her services to him to carry his bags, Leon had the overwhelming urge to, well, oberwhelm her. She seemed so bored and in need of some fun - fun that he could provide her with in the form of touring across LA! Though if she worked here that probably meant she lived here and saw all there was to see. Oh well! Maybe she'd be helpful and tell him all about the various landmarks! Yes, that seemed like a great idea.
Nah, it shouldn't be too much trouble to drag her along with him. If the hotel had a problem with it, well, they could suck it up. Leon was going to force some fun into this woman if it was the last thing he did! Obviously it wouldn't be but the point was still there. He was beyond determined. She was going to have fun. But first, she was going to carry his bags for him. Because he was lazy and she was just there. But that tone of voice Leon swore he heard from the woman in the otherwise silent elevator ride made him question. "What's unbelievable?"
The elevator doors opened to reveal a familiar sight. Leon rushed out and threw open the doors, revealing the grand entry hall. Not really waiting, he skipped past the other bedrooms and hoped that the woman could keep up his pace as he stopped in front of the master bedroom. "Okay, we're here!" He sounded way too cheerful for someone who was just going back to his bedroom. "Don't stare for too long, we've still got another six bags to get up here, so just leave 'em here and we can go back down and get them!" He was going to call her to her by name but he realized he didn't know it. And usually that would be easily solved by a quick glance at a name tag but she was lacking one. Maybe she lost it or something. But he'll ask later. "Come now, we've gotta be quick!"

"Nothing important." Adeline replied dully to the man's question as he rushed her out of the elevator and towards his room. It was a bit difficult trying not to trip over her dress when hurrying across the hall, trying to keep up with him but she managed to fall or break anything. Adeline let out a small breath of relief when they reached the right room and she was able to drop off her load. It was indeed rather spacious, of quality that Adeline could only dream to afford.
But there was no time to dawdle because he was already chasing her back out to retrieve the remainder of his bags. On top of his flashy sense of fashion, his energetic attitude was really making Adeline feel more sleepy and sluggish than she already was. She supposed that he might have a later appointment or something he needed to be at, so he didn't have much time to lose... Well, whatever. It didn't change the fact that Adeline was going to help him despite...everything else about him. (Because really, Adeline couldn't find one thing about this up-beat, fancy, bossy male to like. At least not in her books.)
She followed him back to his car, and in the trunk awaited, just as he said, six more bags filled with, Adeline grimaced, what appeared to be even more pointless products! Wow. What an unbelievable guy. To be throwing around money so freely. Mentally judging people aside, she now needed to wrestle these heavy waits up to man's room without tripping and falling on her face. Which would be quite a feat but not impossible thankfully. And that was just what she did, as calm and cool as she could, bring them up to his luxurious room on the top floor and drop them off as instructed. By the end of it all, she was even breaking a sweat! And a bit out of breath.
"Is there anything else you need help with?" She asked once everything was said and done. In anyone else's point of view, it would have been absolutely ridiculous to offer aid to one someone you didn't even like and on top of that a stranger but for Adeline, this was only routine. Like taking a smoke at the end of the day.

She was judging him. He sensed the judgement. Even if she didn't outwardly mention it or anything, the distinct lack of chit chat and, well, the general demeanor meant that there was more time to judge him and as such, probably prejudice judgements were forming. All attempts at conversation (which weren't really that strong on his part) was sure to be rejected. And let's face it, Leon would definitely judge himself for getting so many hair products and having a near complete stranger help him carry his bags all the way up to his room. Although maybe it was some invasion of the privacy of his band members that would come along with bringing her up into the penthouse. Oh well. He doubted that she even knew who is was, and as much as he'd love to have his ego stroked right about now, he knew that she'd probably be both unamused and irritated at him.
Maybe for another time, then. Or maybe never. Even if she was hotel staff he doubted he'd see her again, and she'd probably avoid him after everything he put her through. Was it customary to tip or something? She offered though. Maybe he should, just to be nice. All ten bags had been in her hands, carried up by her. The ten bags now at a manageable distance he proceeded to hide them in his safe-haven of a little corner in the walk in closet that was pretty much his territory. It would be safe there for a while, well, at least until his brother looked inside and saw all the bags.
But now crisis averted, at least for a little while. He turned towards the woman. "Okay, thanks a lot! Did you-" He was going to ask about a tip or something, but he decided against it. Besides, he was interrupted anyways by another offer of help from her. And a moment of brilliance struck him. He grabbed his beloved camera from its resting place and responded to her again. "Yeah! Let's go, let's go!" He then proceeded to drag her out of the penthouse, down the elevator, and towards the car again. "Get in! We're going sightseeing! Hold the camera - wait. Ahhh, erh, please be careful with it." He knew he couldn't drive with the camera in his hands, but he was still a little reluctant.
Did this technically count as kidnapping? Well, it wasn't as though Leon were taking her to come unknown location in a hostage situation and whatever kidnappings were about these days. He had told her - they were going sightseeing! Still, once she was promptly shoved into the car they were on their way. And he realized - he still had no idea what her name was. "Sorry, I never caught your name."

Adeline was almost certain she wouldn't get a positive answer to her question. It seemed pretty unlikely after all, the man did seem like he was in some sort of hurry, so that probably meant he had to be somewhere important soon right? So that probably meant Adeline would be free to leave, continue her job search and extend aid to whatever other poor chap that was in need. Yes. That seemed like the most likely course events.
It's safe to say, she was rather stunned when he not only accepted her proposal but then proceeded to drag her back out of the hotel (god, this guy had no sense of personal space) and then...shove her into his car!? "Just what are you--!?" He said something about sightseeing and being careful with his camera has he handed her the expensive equipment but Adeline was too busy gapping at him with wide eyes and an open mouth. One of those few rare moments her face exhibited an emotion that did not look like boredom or annoyance.
This was it wasn't it? Finally her stupid helping complex has brought her to this unfortunate fate. Kidnapped by some stranger and then later end up dead in a ditch. It was time now for her to contemplate her short miserable life and sob over her lack luster accomplishments and her unfulfilled desires. It was her own stupidity that brought her to this end after all, only but herself to blame. Oh what a sad twist of fate.
...Wait. Now was probably the time for her to make her escape. While her life was of little value to her, it'd be pretty retarded if she just let herself be whisked away and killed without a fight! But wait...didn't he need her help with something? Wasn't that the reason he kidnapped her in the first place? Looking outside the window she realized he hadn't in fact brought them to some dark alley or some deserted countryside... huh didn't he say something about sightseeing? Adeline then looked down, remembering about the foreign weight she had be carrying in her hand. It was that expensive camera that she had no idea how to work.
...Is this guy stupid? Did he really just hall a stranger along to take pictures for him or something? Well she did offer so she didn't mind but. Man this guy has issues or something. "Just where are you taking us?" She asked. Her lips tugged slightly into a frown. "It's not Disneyland is it? It better not be Disneyland."
((I'm sorry if I'm kind of terrible u_u also what do we do with change of location does it just stay here or??))

Taking a stranger and shoving them into a car was probably not the best idea. She didn't put too much of a struggle. Plus it wasn't kidnapping, technically. The woman did ask to help and Leon was just giving her something to help with. So that would be his argument. But he barely knew this person, and she barely knew him. And yet he was taking her sightseeing like some sort of spur of the moment date, something of that sort. Only there was no way he'd actually be caught dead going on any sort of date with someone with such atrocious hair. As much as he tried convincing himself that she was going to help him and he should be nicer to her (even in his head), he could not get over the hair. Did she do nothing to care for it? Maybe he should recommend some hair products -
No, that was a bit intrusive. Not that he wasn't already being intrusive dragging her along. He kept shooting glancing down, looking at his beloved camera as he drove on. Though he knew it probably wasn't safe, he couldn't help himself. Leon was attached to that camera. Despite the fact he could probably easily replace it, he liked it despite it being a bit worn - it was just well-loved, it was!
The car ride up to this point (maybe just a few minutes in) had been silent. She didn't answer his inquiry on her name and Leon just let it drop. Maybe she was waiting for him to give her his name? Oh, of course, how in the world could he have been so stupid, obviously that was the case! He should have introduced himself first, that would have been the polite thing to do instead of just forcing her to do work. "Ah, I wasn't thinking, forgive me, I totally forgot to introduce myself! You must think I'm weird, right? I'm Leon Kobayashi! Just call me Leon though!" I hope we can be good friends! Leon was going to add that but it would probably be weird seeing as she was sort of being paid to help him, from the hotel of course.
And it was a little forward too. He was a little surprised when she started to talk, though. And of Disneyland, too! He was fairly happy - did she want to go to Disneyland? He could easily get tickets now, although it would cost him a bit. But no, that tone of voice and the words itself made him think otherwise. "No, of course not! If we were going to Disneyland, we'd have taken the shuttle from the hotel, of course! Plus I just went last week. But what's wrong with Disneyland? It was so fun when I went there, all the rides were awesome!" Granted, he loved visiting the castle and seeing the pretty princesses and envying their dresses and wishing he could wear them, but that might've been a bit odd to say right off the bat. "No, we're going somewhere else~!"
i think we just keep it here.
