Living Situation Penthouse suit. Because he is rather high up in the Triad line, he makes pretty good money, easy enough for him to afford a penthouse in his stay in America. 02. Appearance Despite his Chinese heritage, Damien is about six feet tall, leading him to believe he isn’t pure but rather a mix, but he didn’t mind, it was rather fun when someone expects a smaller male when coming to see him in person. His hair is a dark bluish black that he usually ties into a small ponytail at the back of his neck, his bangs are long but pulled to the right side of his face, usually cover his right eye, both eyes themselves are a striking red color. He is rather fit and filled out for his height, his skin is lightly tanned, however out of everything, most of his body is covered in tattoo’s even underneath his bangs on his face he has a small tattoo which is usually hidden. Because of his…occupation, Damien also has numerous scars across his body; the most noticeable one is the one on his face across the bridge of his nose. 03. Personality Da Min, though his Chinese name, he is always known as Damien, a nickname that has become more known than his true name, something that only a selective amount of people know. Damien himself though despite being in the Mafia, is not that much of a terror, well not at first impression anyway. He smiles, he laughs, he tells jokes, he generally appears to be a laid back person and is a kind individual; and that's what's so scary about him. Because of this it was so easy to forget that he was a part of the Mafia, let alone the Triads, he treats a lot of people equally. As pals that he hasn't seen in a long time, it also doesn't help that he's usually seen with a pipe with opium in it either. He has a charming quality and a silver tongue, he can say what people want to hear and that's how people, especially his clients, trust him. But he didn't get into the Triad just because of that. Damien is good at what he does, which is usually selling drugs, but it’s also because he knows how to cut off loose ends nicely. If there one thing no one wants to do, it be on Damien bad side. His anger is that of a cold one, it isn't an explosive show, it’s just below the surface, raging beneath his skin. Despite treating everyone like a friend, he can easily kill them if they are becoming a problem to him. He has a blood lust about him and is utterly ruthless, most say he isn't right in the head and he doesn't argue with that, you can't be right in the head if you did what he's done. 04. History Da Min was an orphan in China. And despite that, it was obvious that he wasn't of true Asian descent, his eyes and hair particularly un-nerving to some. The people of the orphanage taught the children what they could in writing and reading, most just disappeared into the streets, only to return at night. Playing in the streets was common and so was stealing if they were hungry. Like most he would like a family...and he was one of the lucky ones. When he was seven he was adopted by a rather rich man, he rode in a limo and everything, he also found out that he had three other siblings two boys and a girl. He was so excited that he finally had a family, and thought it would be more of a family, a warm loving kind of place. He was wrong. Studies were a large thing, and various of training in martial arts. Despite being a family, the father treated them rather coldly, usually only asking about their grades or process of training, nothing more or less, even his siblings were distant from him, some even treating him with disdain, after all he wasn't a sibling to them by blood. It wasn't until a year of staying with them that he understood why. His old man...was the Dragon Head of the Triads, a well known group to even a child like him, and him and the others, he placed expectations on them..he wanted one of them to succeed him. Da Min for the most part, even at eight years old understood, the old man didn't expect him to actually get to his position let alone join the Triads, he was a challenge to the other children, a drive to be better...and Da Min wasn't very fond of being used. So he pushed himself, studying more, training more, just for that look a shock when his scores came out higher then the others. And then came the initiation into the Triads. They all took it on their tenth birthday he was told, as a tradition for the children of the Dragon Head. So he took it, he steeled himself to kill his first living creature, drank the mixture of blood and wine, recited the pledge, everything. This was not the one place he was going to fail at now, not after working so hard. Since he was so young he was given tasks that suited children, usually information gathering on the streets, listening in on conversations, thins like that. He was often out on the streets dressed like a hobo and despite that it was rather fun. He had to memorize layouts of the streets, know where to hide, where to run. He still messed up sometimes, it was a part of learning. He was even given some killing tasks, a simple knife to stab them in the chest, masking it as an accidental bump into. His first time ended with him slashed across the bridge of his nose as the man, his target spat in his direction. He learned then that he couldn't hesitate on this. Growing up just seemed to add more challenges to his work load, on top of trying to maintain great grades and training he had missions by the Triad and just growing up as a teenager to work on. Also finding out about sex, drugs and alcohol. He never went on heavier drugs, just the light stuff like marijuana. He also started to get more dangerous missions, most of them confrontations or exchanges that sometimes ended in a shoot off. But it was him entering University...that he was transferred out to America. It wasn't as a student exchange program though it was masked like that, but rather an expansion of the Triads into American soil. Out of all the siblings he had the best in languages outside of the Mandarin or Cantonese, and his father was growing increasingly proud of his achievements over the years, him even getting the nickname of 'The Dragon's Claw' from other members because of the fondness the old man seemed to show him now and giving him the responsibility to carry out duties in America? That was a large burden he placed on Da Min who took it as a challenge. Over the years he played his cards just as they should be, sure he screwed up a few times but that was a part of learning, you did never stop. When he was twenty five, he was for the first time, having someone trying to sneak into his organization, an undercover cop at that. He had to give America props they were very brave to attempt this, and Da Min (Known as Damien to almost everyone now) had fun with this. But there was one factor he didn't count on. With all the teasing and talking to her, he never revealed he was the boss but he never thought he'd start falling for her. She was so feisty, she challenged him, mouthed him off, joined in his verbal battles over the time together they even started sleeping together. So that's why killing her was the hardest for him. He gave her fake information about a drug exchange, so when the police showed up and to the location that was empty, she in her anger, came after him. It turned into a fight on the ceiling of an building that was in construction, which turned into him holding onto her shirt as he looked down at her, “I love you.” He breathed as she looked back unflinching from the words, “I never loved you.” She replied back. A bitter smile crossed his features, “I know.” He breathed before he...let her go. She was found a few hours later by the emergency services and by then he was long gone. To this day he continues his work, posing as a rich boy from China who only got to America with dad's money starting up his own business (Which is really just to help smuggle guns and other things in and out between the two). Living in a penthouse suit, going out to parties, business or otherwise. Most don't know what his real name is...or the dark life he lives. |
