If Neil was going to be purchasing any of his childhood memories off Amazon, he would probably have bought Digimon-related ones. However, he wasn't really one for plush toys of mementoes or anything of the like. Heck, he wasn't even really one for photographs. No, experiences were meant to be savored and lived in, but only for the moment. There was no point holding on to an item or even to cling too hard to a memory. Life was meant to be lived, after all. There was no point living in memories and forgetting the real world, though it was nice to reminisce once in a while.
"Send whatever you want there. Tell them all I said hi, by the way!" he chirped in response. "And yes, I do like Pokemon. But tell me, who didn't? I was much more of a Digimon fan though. Season two was my favourite." As a child, he'd always related to Matt, and had always had a crush on Sora, come to think of it. "What was your favourite Digimon?" he asked. "I always liked Gabumon and his evolutions."
With that, Neil turned to face Kris who was questioning him about the garbage bags. He bent down and pulled one out of a drawer. "I'm pretty much done with the dishes, so I can do the trash," he volunteered. With that, Neil stared at the numerous things that were strewn all over. He scrunched up his nose.
"Time to begin this arduous journey!" he said, picking out a couple of old takeout bags and stashing it away.

"Believe it or not, there are people out there who don't like Pokemon." She said solemnly, expression serious. She shed a single tear for those poor, misguided souls. How anyone could not like Pokemon was beyond her, but she was sure they existed out there somewhere. At the mention of favorite Digimon, though, her face lit up as she replied, excitedly, "I loved Gomamon!" He was her favorite favorite favorite. He was so cute and sweet and a precious baby, and she absolutely adored him to this day. Also, Joe was cute. Don't even try to argue with her.
What do you know, that had been a two in one! So, Pokemon and Digimon could now be added to the list of Shit Neil Was Buying Online. To be honest, Kris wasn't even entirely sure why she cared so much- but then again, if she had really cared, she would have just asked. This had actually turned into a kind of fun game, and Neil didn't seem to mind too much so she'd chalk it up to a successful recon mission. But first, garbage. At his offer to take care of the trash, Kris couldn't help but laugh. "Have fun with that!" She remarked, leaving him to deal with that hot mess. What did that leave her to do,then? She had the trash sorted into one pile, laundry in another, and she had swept everything into a pile for whenever the garbage can was empty. So at least in the meantime, she was stuck waiting on Neil. Oh well, knowing him it'd take him another million years to get that sorted out, so-
Kris yawned wide enough to crack her jaw; yup, she was still tired as hell. At least she had successfully gotten the flat cleaned up, right? As for the other thing, well... the image of bright blue eyes resurfaced in her mind, and a blush surfaced on her cheeks at the memory. Thankfully Neil couldn't see her face, or he'd immediately start teasing her about that again. In the meantime, however, until Neil was done she had nothing to do. The brunette yawned again, then slid to the floor, leaning her back against the wall as she closed her eyes. Just a minute...

"Yes! Gomamon was great. I always thought he would end up being one of the most powerful ones in the end, and I was a little sad that he didn't get a Mega evolution." There was no response from her, though. Not to that statement. But then again, Neil wasn't the kind of person to push too hard. He would accept her silence as agreement.
With that, Neil started picking the trash up bit by bit, watching as Kris slid down onto his floor. She was probably exhausted. He could tell. She certainly sounded somewhat delirious as she'd asked him question after question. So on his way to throw the trash out, he'd checked on her real quick; sure enough, she was asleep on his floor, really peacefully. He smiled.
"I win again," Neil said, before slipping out the door, ready to throw out the trash once and for all. Perhaps she had won in a sense, but he wasn't really complaining.
