It had all started entirely on a whim.
She had been bored at work when she decided to randomly text Colin out of the blue. She hadn't even thought that he'd reply back; he never did, after all. Odds were he was wrapped up in reading or blogging or struggling over math homework. So she had jokingly texted him, during a lull between customers, 'r u homework? cuz i'm not doing u and i should be.' To her surprise, when she checked her phone again 30 minutes later, she found that he had actually texted her back for once. Huh, that was rare. What could he have possibly said in reply to that-
'I am a motherfucking term paper the night before it's due.'
Oh, okay then.
Now Julie wasn't usually one to follow through on these sorts of things, but sometimes, you make dumb decisions late at night after a shift at work. So when she finally got home later that night, the first thing she did was kick off her shoes, throw her crap on the floor by the door, and find Colin. Given the size of their apartment, it didn't take her very long at all. He was reading a book on the bed, doing absolutely nothing important whatsoever; which gave her the perfect opportunity to plop down next to him and kiss him. And this wasn't a cute little peck on the lips in greeting, oh no. This was a full on make-out session that would leave them both breathless. Hopefully Colin had the foresight to mark his place, because she didn't plan on letting him go back to reading any time soon. __________________________

tagged: knight. time: May 11th, approx. 1 a.m. speech: colin. notes: \m/ It was a Friday night, which meant that Julie would usually be busy at work. On the occasion that she was off, they would occasionally go for a drink together or with a couple of mutual friends, and he'd even allowed her to take him clubbing once, though he hadn't particularly enjoyed the crowds. No, he preferred the atmosphere of bars if it meant leaving the comfort of his home, but it didn't mean that he was particularly happy with his girlfriend working at one where other men would be looking at her with lecherous stares. But it brought in money and it was her life, so he would leave her to it. It wasn't as though she was going to cheat on him or something, and he did plenty of things she wasn't too keen on either.
Such as spending his Friday nights in with a book and a glass of wine, drinking while rereading The Divine Comedy. Quiet, with no girlfriend to bother him. A serene, peaceful evening, safe from the humdrum of the outside world and the sounds of other people. The blonde pried his book open as he nestled himself comfortably in the bed. This was going to be a good evening, he could already feel it--
The buzzing of his phone was enough to jolt him out of his thoughts.
"Crap," he muttered. He'd forgotten to put his phone on silent. Never mind, that was something that could be fixed--
r u homework? cuz i'm not doing u and i should be.
Oh. Julie. The blonde couldn't help but smirk. He was in a good mood, which was why he didn't even bother to comment on her chat speak. She was trying to sext him again. By that, he meant 'send each other ridiculous dirty jokes', which they did fairly often. So while he hadn't started reading yet, he decided to actually text back:
I am a motherfucking term paper the night before it's due.
There. That was better. She had better make good on that promise, though, he thought as he sat his phone down and took a sip of wine. Yes, this was going to be a good evening. And a few hours later, he heard the thundering of footsteps, and the sound of his girlfriend bursting into his room.
"Hello--" he begun, but was interrupted as her lips crushed against his in a bruising kiss, eyes widening as she deepened the connection. It took him a moment to figure out what was going on, but soon enough he had wrapped one hand around Julie's cheek and the other was resting on her waist. All thoughts of a quiet night out were completely gone as his tongue brushed against her lips, and soon they were making out. This was no Dante, but he sure as hell was starting to feel the Inferno.

Boy, could he be slow on the uptake sometimes. It took him a second or two to figure out what she was doing, which was honestly a second or two too long. Then again, he had been reading, and half the time when Julie sent him dirty text messages they were meant as jokes. So, sure, she could see why he wouldn't take her text seriously, but still. She was kissing him hard enough to bruise, and he couldn't figure it out? Talk about hopeless. Still, at least he eventually got it- he began to reciprocate after a moment had passed, and had even moved to cup her cheek in one hand while the other came up to rest on her waist.
She grinned into his lips, before breaking away from him. Green eyes glittered mischeviously as she greeted him, breathlessly, "Hi." Not bothering to wait for a response, she captured his lips once again in a passionate kiss, this time lacing her fingers through his hair. Surprise, for once she was actually going to follow through on one of those texts. There was a first time for everything, after all. It just, y'know, took her three years. After kissing him for a little longer, she suddenly pushed him back on the bed, biting his bottom lip and-
- that's where I'm ending this post because lol PG-13 lol.

tagged: knight. time: May 11th, approx. 1 a.m. speech: colin. notes: \m/ They continued to kiss for a while longer, hazels closing as the hand cupping her cheek laced its way into her hair. Colin pulled on it lightly while the hand resting on her waist snaked down to trail on her thigh. This was just getting heated, just getting good, and Colin pulled away for a moment just as his girlfriend did, eyes meeting hers in an intense gaze. The edge of his lip curled upwards ever so slightly as green eyes met hazel, and he spoke.
"Funny, I could have sworn I was about to say the exact same thing." But before he could say much more, she had grabbed hold of his shirt and tugged him in tightly, capturing his lips in a kiss. No more time for words, only time for action. The blonde let out a moan of delight as she pressed him against the bed, not even bothering to complain or fight that he was on the bottom this time.
AND THEN THEY DID THE FRICKLE FRACKLE AND THE DINGLYDOO AND PROBOARDS WON'T LET US CONTINUE THIS THREAD, BUT THE NEXT MORNING COLIN WOKE UP RLY SORE WITH A MILLION HICKEYS ON HIS NECK.
