That was all Chamber could really think about right now. Not for herself to fall asleep, but for the komodo dragon she was supposed to be working on to pass out from the sedatives she administered about five minutes ago. Thanks to the fact that her help was lousy today she didn't get the tranquilizer dart in as well as she should have, and it was taking longer than normal. If they had kept him distracted like she asked, she wouldn't have had to jump out of the way of that muscular tail. She pulled back her white sleeve once again to look at her watch. With a frustrated sigh she rubbed her eye with one hand then looked back out at the big male. One of the smaller males decided to get a little cocky and tried to fight him, didn't work out so well. She had worked on the smaller male back at the clinic, where he was still located at the moment recovering. This big guy on the other hand did not have as much damage and would be fine with a bit of wound cleaning, a few stitches, and a complete checkup wouldn't hurt, since he was scheduled for one two weeks from now anyway.
Finally the big boy kind of flopped down and grew still. She waited two minutes more before going into the enclosure. She had the keepers put the females into their holding pen while she got to work. She made sure to disinfect the wound then got to work putting in a few dissolve-able stitches here and there making sure everything was good and clean then quickly looked over the rest of him. "Eyes: Clear; Nose: Clear..." she muttered to herself taking a few notes before injecting him with the reversal and getting out of the enclosure. She shed off her jacket and folded it neatly before putting it into her satchel. She would make a quick stop by the office to put down her things before eating lunch at the Zoo Grill. She joined the public on the pathways, a small smile gracing her face as she watched some of the children as their excitement grew looking at the animals.

May 17. Estimated 1pm.
Today was certainly a day for such perfect weather. Krystal felt obliged to interact with nature today and here she was, at the LA Zoo and Botanical Garden. Animals were one of her few fetishes, although she didn't seem like it.
Currently, at the moment, she was at the reptile section of the zoo. Reptiles were cute to her, to say the least. As she strolled past each exhibition of the cold-blooded animals, Krystal decided to stop at the komodo dragon display, noticing something that had captured her attention.
Her purple irises observed the other person inside of the cage which held the komodo dragons. Krystal knew very well that the person was simply a caretaker. She observed as the blonde person watched over one of the bigger dragons and suddenly, its body stilled. It was as though it was killed on the spot, although Krystal knew that it wasn't. If it was, she was sure that the person inside would have started showing signs of anxiety, which she didn't.
The brunette made her way towards the golden-haired girl, her lips turning into a smile of the sorts. "Well, if I hadn't known any better, I'd say you killed the dragon," she said, a light tone of sarcasm gracing her voice.
Now, to observe her reaction. | |

Chamber had her mind elsewhere when she was suddenly addressed. She normally got this on the job. People seeing her exit an exhibit and wanting to ask her questions. Most of the time it was children. All full of wonder and wanting to know what it was like being able to work at a zoo. Chamber always smiled at them fondly and talked to them hoping to help make their dreams come true. She could give them some quick education and give them some tips on what schools to go to, as well as teach them a bit about the animal they were wondering about.
Chamber turned around and looked at the girl talking to her. She nodded in greeting and put on that nice fake work smile she always does. "He is perfectly fine. Just recovering from a sedative I administered." She stopped on the path making sure she was out of the way of the other zoo visitors. "I can assure you he is perfectly fine. Right as rain as soon as he wakes up." She had a bit of a harder time talking to older people. But when it involved her job she could get past her antisocial tendencies.
"So what brings you to the zoo today?"
Now, to observe her reaction.

"Well," Krystal began. "Nature was compelling me to communicate with it, so I simply decided to interact with Mother Earth."
Although it sounded ridiculous, it was the truth. If the girl chose not to believe it, then too bad for her. It was tempting to flock into the exhibition and interact with the dragons themselves. It'll make things more interesting. She watched the girl's smile carefully. It was obvious that it was one of those kind of smiles that you had no choice but to wear it in order to give patrons a good impression of you.
She wasn't sure whether the female across her was the same age, but Krys would love the company for the moment and Chamber seemed like her age. Maybe it was just Krystal looking older than her actual age, or the blonde-haired girl looking younger than her actual age. Whichever it was, she suspected if the girl wasn't given an option to say no, she'd have to play along with her.
"I suppose you've got the time to bring me around today," Krystal smoothed her way through, smiling sheepishly. "It's actually my first time here, and you seem to be my age so that makes it easier to converse with you."
