To the naked eye, Viktor is nothing more than a sales clerk at the Abercrombie & Fitch located in Kings Mall. However, he is much more than that. As Ivan, he is a spy for the U.S. government. He was once a part of the Russian mafia as a sniper assassin, working undercover to obtain information on their operations. He and the U.S. government relocated him to California after a few occurrences while in Russia.

[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Seeing the hefty sum that the government pays him for his work as a spy, one would think that he lives in a plush condo overlooking the beach and whatnot. Think again. Viktor actually lives in a decent-sized five-room apartment in the Hollywood area. It's sparse when it comes to furniture and personal belongings, but it's not too bad. It's his home for the time being until the U.S. government asks for his services and makes him relocate again.

Those who first look at him think that his eyes are simply a bright green color, but they are actually a hazel-green color. They're said to be one of his better features.HAIR COLOR Blonde. Viktor has his hair up to his ears in a messy spiky style. The front pieces of hair tend to fall in his face from time to time.CLOTHING The Russian male has a tendency to wear dark colors as well as things with the design of a clover on them. Why do you ask? Well, he's just fond of dark colors and clubs happen to be his favorite in a deck of cards. However, he does wear one particular black, white and green coat a lot of the time. According to him, he likes the style and the colors the most. Aside from that, he tends to wear things that are comfortable and conventional for any situation.OTHER If people were to ever see Viktor shirtless, they'd see numerous scars sprinkled across his pale skin. He doesn't recall how he got all of them, but he sure as hell isn't ashamed of any of them. He considers every single one a little piece of himself.
[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] Personality
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] DEVOTED • You know those people that don’t stop until they get the job done? That’s Viktor for you. He is absolutely dedicated to finishing something he starts and he won’t give up until it kills him. This actually kind of applies to his relationships with people as well as he refuses to give up on a person. He’ll stay with them until the very end even if it hurts him in the end. It gets in his way for his job and such, but he’ll be damned if he quits something. VIVACIOUS • A bit of a lively person, Viktor is a bit of an optimist. No, that does not means he’s a hyper individual that skips everywhere and screams at the top of his lungs. He’s just a very chipper person that likes to think about the better things rather than the bleak. Besides, with his job, he’s very much used to seeing the very bad in people, so he’d much rather thing of the good things than be reminded of the horrors of his job. RELIABLE • If you ever need something done, just ask Viktor to do it. He’ll always do something if you ask him nicely (or if you’re his boss). And should you ever need a shoulder to cry on, he’ll be there for you. He believes it’s his duty as a friend and a human being to be there for someone if they are having a difficult time with something. Trust you me, if you ever need something, he’ll be there even if he has to get through hell and back. MORAL • Viktor has one rule that he will always follow: never kill women and children. Why? Well, he actually very much hates killing anyone that doesn’t deserve it; besides, he wants to believe that women and children are innocent. The thought of killing children sickens him because he highly believes that they have their whole lives ahead of them and that they could create a better future if given a chance. He would rather shoot himself than to harm a woman or a child. EDUCATED • Before coming to the United States, Viktor was only knowledgeable in very basic things in subjects like writing, math and science. He also had no knowledge of how to speak any other language aside from Russian. However, when he was brought to the United States, he took rather nicely to school and was quick to learn. He’s not a genius of any kind, but he is a fairly bright individual and knows quite a few things about various subjects. The government was sure to drill everything into him when he came. ENIGMATIC • Sometimes Viktor likes to speak in riddles to confuse people. At other times, he just likes being cryptic with information if there is a need for it. He doesn’t give people straight answers when it comes to his new life as Viktor, so don’t ever think that you’ll get one from him unless you know his situation. As Ivan, he is even more mysterious because he has various secrets that he’s willing to take to the grave with him. But hey, that’s the life of a spy for you. DECEPTIVE • He’s the type of person that likes to dodge questions from time to time and give out very vague answers. It’s not that he necessarily wants to, but having to do what he does, you have to become a very good liar and use the ability to keep yourself out of trouble. Sometimes he doesn’t even realize that he’s lying until after he has spoken. Aside from being mean to a friend, this is another thing that causes him a large amount of guilt. He often wishes he didn’t have to lie, but this was the hand that Fate presented him with. AFFECTIONATE • Viktor has had a few significant others in the past as well as old friends, and he’s willing to bet that they’d all say that he’s a bit of a cuddler. Is he ashamed of this? Not at all. He believes that showing affection is quite healthy, so it’s to be expected that he’ll randomly hug one of his friends from time to time. Ah, and he’s even more affectionate when it comes to anything romantic. He doesn’t mind being a cheeseball when it comes to showing how he feels for them. He doesn’t mind it being a weakness. AMIABLE • That’s not to say that he’s overly friendly, but he is quite the nice guy. He doesn’t see a point to being rude or acting coldly to strangers (unless it’s for a job). He’s a nonchalant person and will be a perfect gentleman towards others even if they’re rude to him. Most in his profession consider it a weakness of his, but he doesn’t care. His grandmother taught him manners, so he will be damn sure to use them. Besides, it’s called common courtesy. FOOLISH • Not going to lie, but Viktor is a bit of a child deep down inside. He finds a lot of things amusing even if they usually aren’t. You’d think someone with a job like his would act more mature and things, but he’s really not. He doesn’t mind being a bit of child from time to time because that’s what makes him the way he is. Of course, he doesn’t show this side to anyone but those he feels comfortable around. CAREFUL • He is an overly cautious person. Why, do you ask? Well, aside from the fact that he managed to escape from the Russian mafia before they could take him out, he just doesn’t want things in his life to be complicated. So yes, he is the person you see that would take extra measures just to avoid trouble or an ugly situation. When you’re a spy infiltrating different governments and such, you have to watch what you do and say to survive. PATIENT • Considering the fact that he works as a spy and he’s had to deal with some unruly people in his life, Viktor is quite the patient individual. He isn’t one to just do things guns a’blazing without a plan in mind. He finds that to be wasteful of energy, so he’d rather just sit and wait for an opportunity to arise. Boring, yes. But he’d rather be efficient about a job and do things the right way once than to do it over again. RESERVED • When the job calls for it, Viktor is as cold as ice and keeps things to himself. During these times, he’s very quiet and keeps to himself the grand majority of the time. Also, he has a tendency to push people away when he’s in this sort of mood. Of course, he’s more likely to act this way for a job. Granted, he does have those “Ice King” moments outside of a job some of the time, but they are few and far in-between. PROTECTIVE • Perhaps it’s because most of the people in his life have left him, but Viktor is very much protective of those he cares about. He’ll do whatever in his power to keep his loved ones safe even if the methods he has to take is a bit unorthodox. That does not mean he’s territorial though; he knows when to give a person space. He doesn’t want to push a person away through suffocation or anything like that. He just wants to make sure that they’re fine.
[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] History
[cs=3][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width: 450px; text-align: center; padding-left: 25px; padding-right: 25px;] Viktor Dmitri Krupin is not actually quite the person many people think him to be. For starters, his name isn’t even Viktor Krupin. No, he was actually born Ivan Nikolai Valeev, the eldest child of Miroslav and Zinaida Valeev, in the small village of Rybushki. In Ryubushki, Ivan led a relatively normal life; well, as normal as a young Russian village boy could live. He helped his father with his job and he helped his mother around the house, life was very simple cycle for the first eight years of his life. A new element was thrown into his life when his mother gave birth to their “miracle child,” Yana. She was a sickly little child, but the whole family pitched in to take special care of the young girl. Life was well for the four-unit family; everyone was happy despite Yana’s health and they all had a very simple life. But when Ivan was nine years-old, something rather strange happened. During a very dreary and frigid day, the sound of pops showered the entire village of Ryubushki. Ivan had been inside taking care of Yana when it happened, but the odd noises outside gave him pause. He had been curious, so he peeked outside of a window and he instantly regretted it. Fallen bodies of his fellow villagers lay among the snow like lifeless logs, burning the image forever in young Ivan’s head. It didn’t take too long for authorities to take the refugees to nearby Moscow, sending Ivan and Yana to go live with their maternal grandmother. All his questions of what had occurred were left unanswered. Moving to Moscow with their grandmother wasn’t very comfortable for the Valeev siblings to say the least. Their grandmother Ksenia was a bitter old woman who thought them to be disgraces and often referred to them as “mudak” (bastards). She didn’t spoil them like most grandmothers spoil their grandchildren; hell, she barely gave them the bare minimum. Luckily for the two siblings, the only had to deal with her for about a year before she passed away from natural causes (if you can call smoking like a chimney and drinking a bottle of vodka a day when you only have one kidney “natural causes). From then on, the two lived on their own, forcing Viktor to work at the age of nearly 11 years-old at various odd jobs. Despite the fact that Ivan had to work before even being a teenager, he didn’t regret it. His little sister was far too young and too sickly to fend for herself, so he would often leave her in the care of a neighbor before he would go off to work to bring in some money to feed themselves with. Again, his life revolved in this steady rhythm of things for a little over three years. That’s when his sister’s poor health took a turn for the worse and he met a stranger that changed his life drastically. During one of his free days of work, 14 year-old Ivan was going to the market to buy some fruits for his little when he came across this man in the middle of the street. The man was severely beaten up and looked to have been wounded in several places, causing the young teenager to drag the strange man back to the small little apartment he shared with 6 year-old Yana. It was then that things got interesting. Upon waking, the man introduced himself as Erik Kozlov and explained his story to young Ivan. Apparently, he was Russian-born American agent trying to get information on the Russian mafia’s actions. He had gotten caught and was being beaten to death before he somehow managed to get away, passing out in the middle of the road that Ivan found him. After a few more moments of rest, Erik got up and left the two Valeev children, leaving behind a considerable amount of money and a phone number. Ivan being Ivan, he didn’t want to use either one. But when his little sister got horrendously sick in the middle of the very same night, he used the money for a doctor. Ivan spent several days at the hospital by little Yana’s side, hoping that his presence would soothe any fear she had. She was put through multiple tests, but unfortunately, the doctors were fairly unaware of what was wrong with his little sister. The only advice they had for him was to send her to America so she could get better examined if he had a chance. Other than that, they left him with a broken heart when they said she would most likely die soon if she didn’t receive help. So he did the only thing he could think of… Spending hours trying to reach Erik was not exactly a fun time since the man didn’t answer about 299 times out of the 300 times. But when he finally did manage to talk to Erik, Ivan begged the man to take Yana to America to receive the medical attention she needed. Initially, Erik told him no. Due to Ivan’s constant begging, however, Erik managed to pull some strings to take both Valeev children to the U.S. legally… That is, if Ivan agreed to become Erik’s ward and have Yana adopted by a family that could care for her medically and financially. Despite not wanting to separate from his sister, Ivan accepted the agreement and both children traveled to the U.S. with Erik. The first few months in the U.S. were absolute hell for Ivan; he was shoved into intense schooling as well as physical training by Erik, and the fact that he was no longer allowed to see Yana killed him inside. He was forced to learn English and Spanish along with other general subjects, and then there were the odd self-defense trainings he had to take. He was tired every damn day and he felt dead inside for quite some time. Ivan was never even given an explanation as to why he had to go through all of this schooling and training; Erik always gave him an extremely vague answer. However, when he turned about 18 years-old and became fluent in English, he was brought before a government official and was told that he would follow in Erik’s footsteps. Now, as to what that meant, Ivan had no clue. But he sure as hell knew what that meant when he was given his first mission. His first assignment included sneaking into a mob leader’s birthday celebration and obtaining information on what illegal shipments they were expecting. Now, when he first got to the place, Ivan was panicking despite the fact that he had a col exterior. But after a hellish few hours and tons of lying, Ivan managed to get the needed information. But this was only the start of many similar missions through the course of six years. Throughout the missions he had during those six years, he was often forced to go to another country and spy for the U.S. government on various mafias and governments. Ivan was forced into learning how to deal with guns (particularly with snipers) and into bettering his acrobatic skills. He never once had to resort to killing anyone (although he did come close just once). On top of that, the assignments and the U.S. government hardened him to become practically a cold but obedient machine. Things were pretty smooth for the U.S. spy. That is until he was told to go back to Russia and spy on the mafia there. Saying that his job on spying on the Russian mafia was the same as any other assignment would be one big fat lie. First of all, when he got there, he had a hell of a hard time trying to meet with any of the mafia members. And then there was the fact that they didn't really take him seriously until he actually took someone out that they wanted (within reason, of course). It was then that the mafia welcomed him and became a (unyielding) mafia sniper dog, following orders that he thought were all right and ignoring ones that he disagreed with. Life was pretty simple for a while during his time with the Russian mafia. Oh, and taking the information and relaying it back to the U.S. was simple. But perhaps the most important of all was when he met Rayna Keller. Now, he's not exactly sure why... but from the day he met Rayna, he managed to revert back to his old self before the government hardened him. Ivan was able to act like the kind man that he was before around her and even helped her. She was a bit of a hard woman, but he was sure that he was able to soften her up some. That was perhaps the greatest part of job. However, good things don't always last. He was lying to her and everyone about himself after all, and it seems that he stepped on far too many people's toes. What appears to be Ivan's execution day was avoided by his executioner's compassion. The man had taken Ivan to a remote location during the middle of the night where people wouldn't look for him, but instead of following his orders, the man took pity on Ivan and told him to get out of Russia as quickly as possible. Apparently, the man even decided to make up a story about him dying, allowing Ivan to slip into the night and return back to the U.S. as quickly as possible. When Ivan returned back from Russia, he was quickly given a new name to keep off of the Russian mafia's global radar. Dubbed Viktor Dmitri Krupin, he was relocated to California in order to lay low. For the past four years, Viktor has remained in California, occasionally going out of town to go fulfill assignments. However, those assignments are now few and far in-between. He has taken a few odd jobs here and there to keep himself busy and to keep himself from dying of boredom.

[cs=3][atrb=style,width: 460px; text-align: center; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px;] • Want to see a big Russian guy dance silly? Play any of Cascada’s songs, and you’ll see Viktor break out into a dance. Is it a pretty sight? Not really, but it makes for a good laugh. Will he deny liking Cascada’s music? Most definitely. • Viktor has a pet chameleon named Perestroika. He has a tendency to carry around the little reptile on his shoulder when he feels like wandering around the city. • Viktor is fairly fluent in Russian, English and Spanish. Does he use all three frequently? Nope, but Russian was his first language while the other two were required for him to learn when he came to the U.S. • You will never ever hear Viktor speak with a contraction. Why? Who knows, but he never uses them when speaking. It’s an odd little quirk, but he apparently prefers sounding formal. That is, unless he absolutely has to use them. • The only person the world who has ever called him Nikolai would be Rayna Keller.
