Activity Check RULES Feb. 9th 2013 This check is all about your number of posts; every member will be listed with a post count that they must reach within the time limit. This check will last seven days, during which you must reach your expected post count. This check is not per-character, but instead per-member. Members are expected to post below with a tracker to keep track of their own posts, and will be rewarded with prizes if they go above and beyond. How does it work? In general, members can continue with their business as usual. Every time you make an IC post with one of your characters, add it to your list below. Keep updating even after you've reached your minimum for a chance at residue. How should my list look? Use the following format: 3/4 JESS you learn something new everyday CODE: 0/0 YOUR CBOXNAME[blockquote][a href="LINK TO THREAD"]NAME OF THREAD[/a] How do we know how many posts we need? The number of posts you need is determined by the number of characters you have. For every two characters you have, you'll need a single post. That post can be from any character, however. This is also rounded up. If you have one character, you need one post. If you have five, you'll need three posts. Can you give a few examples? Sure. To the left is the number of characters, to the right is how many posts you would need. #Characters - #Posts 1 - 1 2 - 1 3 - 2 4 - 2 5 - 3 6 - 3 7 - 4 8 - 4 9 - 5 10 - 5 Post Needed Complete Inactive Completed AMY - 1 AODHGAN - 1 ARIA - 1 BUBBLES - 3 DUVET - 2 JELLYFISH - 1 JESS - 4 KITTY - 1 MIKE - 3 PRINCE - 2 REITGERTE - 4 RENEGADE - 3 SENRI - 2 SUGARPEAS - 1 SYLPH - 2 TERRESA - 4 TWEETY - 1 LOA: Crayola Rogue Dani Mike Cathal Knight Failed DJ - 1 JAY - 1 TO BE DELETED: Allu Michiyo Sky Tim Q&A Can I do all my posts with a single character, even if I have more than one? Yes, where the posts come from doesn't matter. What happens if I do not make my post count? ALL of your characters will be listed as Inactive. What does Inactive really mean? Well, when your account is made inactive, you have until the next activity check to prove you can keep up with your characters. Any characters you have not gotten out of inactive by the next activity check will be deleted, and even killed (depending on circumstances). What does being inactive do, and how do I get off of it? There are several limits placed on inactive accounts. Limits -Only one thread per character allowed. If you have more than one, you must choose which thread to continue while the others go on hold. -An inactive Character is not allowed in an Event thread. If they are in one, they will be removed, and possibly killed. -You may not spend any residue. -You may not make any new characters. -You may not earn any residue WITH an inactive character. -You will lose one residue per character every week that character is inactive. Getting off Inactive -Make at least 5 post per inactive character, starting when you're declared inactive. This must be done per character. If you have three characters inactive, you then have to make 15 posts, 5 per character. SIDE NOTE 1. If you are not able to post because you are sick, midterms or away from home, PLEASE post an away message here. If you are unable to post for more than half the check, you will be exempted from the check. PLEASE NOTE THAT NON-EMERGENCY LOA's WILL NOT COUNT IF THEY ARE MADE IN THE LAST HALF OF THE ACTIVITY CHECK. This is to encourage members to post LOAs ahead of time, and give people plenty of notice. Please note that this rule only counts for non-emergency leave of absences. 2. As a reward for keeping track of your own posts, the top three posters (split by members and staff) will receive 3 residue each. Ties will only get 1 residue each. TOP POSTERS Staff First....
